Richard (8/5): Very good - This pretty cottage is beautifully furnished , well equipped and is recently refurbished. The owners were on holiday, but they responded quickly via Booking.com to our messages. They left a series of information packs on the region. It is located down a short dirt track in a quiet location with a view over the front garden to a field with horses. It is only a few miles from the main east-west motorway, which provides easy access to many points of interest in Belgium and French Flanders. As the only hanging cupboard, toilet and bathroom are located on the ground floor, we used the sofa bed downstairs rather than the upstairs bedroom. This suited us as a couple as the ground floor is spacious and the sofa, although a bit hard, is a full-sized double. The steps leading to the two upstairs bedrooms are not suitable for small children, the elderly or the infirm.
