• Maria (10/5): Haus zum Wohlfühlen inmitten einer schönen Landschaft - Das Haus ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet mit vielen liebevollen Details. Im Erdgeschoss befindet sich ein länglicher Flur, Küche, Esszimmer, Gäste-WC und ein großes helles Wohnzimmer. Von dort geht es auf eine Terrasse mit Eßtisch und Stühlen und mit Blick in den gepflegten Garten mit 2 Liegestühlen. Sogar Sitzauflagen für alle Gartenmöbel sind vorhanden, ebenso wie innen Kissen und Decken. In der ersten Etage ist ein gemütliches Schlafzimmer und das Badezimmer. Über eine Holztreppe geht es zum Dachgeschoss (ohne Tür), das mit einem Doppelbett -bestehend aus zwei Einzelmatratzen ausgestattet ist. (Achtung: falls Sie eigene Bettwäsche mitbringen möchten: im Dachgeschoss braucht man zwei Spannbetttücher von mind. 90x200 cm + Bezug für die 2x2 m große Bettdecke und im Schlafzimmer 1 Spannbettuch von mind. 1,7x2m +Bezug von 2x2m.) Der Vermieter ist sehr nett. Wir durften sogar 1 Std. vorher anreisen und er bot uns an, 2 Std. später abzureisen. Damme ist ein netter kleiner Ort mit einem schönen Radweg nach Brügge (25 min per Rad) und in die andere Richung am Kanal entlang nach Sluis (NL). Mit E-Bike kann man auch bis zur Nordsee radeln. Da fällt uns nichts ein.
• Pierre (8/5): - La maison est très bien équipée et décorée avec gout. La ville est très agréable et mérite de s’arrêter pour la visiter. La communication est très difficile avec le propriétaire. Il ne fait aucun effort pour parler une autre langue que le néerlandais. Nous avions réservé notre voyage via Booking. Le propriétaire a changé nos dates réservées sans nous avertir sous prétexte que Booking avait fait une erreur. A aucun moment, il n'a évoqué un remboursement. C’était à nous de trouver des solutions / de décaler nos dates grâce à l'intervention du service client booking. Selon le site internet, la location de linge de maison est de 25€. Cependant, il nous a demandé 35€. Nous avons donc amené nos draps. Dernièrement, il y a bien des places de parking dans la rue devant la maison. Mais il faut être résident (donc avoir un macaron collé sur le pare-brise). Nous avons eu une amende… Le parking gratuit se trouve à l’extérieur de la ville soit 15 minutes à pied; ce qui ne ressort pas dans l'annonce. Cela aurait été appréciable d’être prévenu à notre arrivée.

• Andrew (8/5): Beautiful old cottage in the heart of charming Damme. - Damme is a lovely small village a short cycle from Bruges and Domus is a beautifully restored and refurbished old cottage on a quiet cobbled street in the heart of the village. The house is very well equipped, spotlessly clean, very comfortable and surprisingly spacious. There are some excellent restaurants in Damme itself and also nearby. Due to poor weather we sadly weren't able to use the garden, however it looked like a lovely peaceful space to relax. We hope to come back to Damme and Domus in the future! Virtually everything was perfect, I suppose if we were being picky then some extra hanging or storage for clothes would be useful, as would an extra bedside light in each bedroom. Bring your own towels though!
• Dagmar (8/5): Very good - It is a lovely place, it's obvious that the owners put a lot of effort into furnishing and equipping it. That makes the stay there very enjoyable and we felt very welcome. We hope and recommend that the guests appreciate the place and handle everything with care. Thank you for sharing this nice place! We personally would have liked a little less room scent (as two out of three family members react allergic to scents).
