- Susanne (7/5): Great location, let down by the little things - The location is excellent. 10/10. The main living room is large, and the decoration in the living room is intriguing. The river view is lovely. There were many things that detracted from enjoying staying in this house. Contact with the company managing the property is very disappointing. Except for emergencies, they are not available outside Monday to Friday office hours.
The bedrooms are very basic, with cheap cupboards. Two of the bedrooms have no fan.
In the kitchen, the coffeemaker didn’t work, and working how to use the oven and stove was difficult.
The bathrooms did not have a place for shampoo and conditioner apart from the window ledge. The ensuite didn’t have a towel rail.
If this was a reasonably priced place I wouldn’t have mentioned some of these things - but at over $1,000 a night you’re paying for quality and that’s not what you’re getting. It would be so easy to address all of the things I have mentioned to make the property worth what you pay for it.

There are no blinds on the bedroom windows as once the sun has risen so have you, there are a lot of gadgets but no manuals so we found it hard to put the music on, or how to operate the lift and some lighting.
