Guest Reviews
- Walsh (6/5): Could be a cute house but needs a bit of maintenace - Lovely location, updated bathroom and good kitchen with well stocked staples Saucepan and oven trays are all a bit grubby. Really cheap blinds that are hard to use. The pump on the water tank broke down so we had no water - had to flush the toilets with buckets of unfiltered brown water straight from the tank. We left the next day anyway - thank goodness they supplied bottled water. 2 of the 3 beds were good - the 3rd bedroom the mattress was a bit soft.
- Elodie (10/5): - Travelled for work to attend Farm World 2026.
Fantastic location away from any noise and disturbance.
Great communication from the hosts.
Anything you could need was provided and the house was clean and comfy
Will book again for next year.
Thank you!
- Pam (10/5): -
- Maria (10/5): Peaceful space for relaxing family getaway with everything you need - The home was spacious, fully equipped with everything you need and especially the extra goodies in the fridge.
- Damian (10/5): Exceptional -
- Vik (6/5): The property has great potential but needs upkeep and cleaning. - Good breakfast options and well equipped kitchen, decent beds and good location. The property needs a thorough cleaning, including the cubby house, BBQ, outdoor seating, and removing spider webs behind the wall-mounted heaters.
People coming from busy city life want an open place to wander and explore, but a major part of the property is not really accessible because of the lack of maintenance.
- Paula (8/5): Rustic, peaceful hideaway - It was quiet and peaceful, close to nature. Has everything you need to cook and clean. Continental breakfast was provided. A very rustic relaxing place to stay.
- Taylor (5/5): Disappointed. I wouldn't recommend - No bread or butter, bacon or eggs. Just oats or muesli that were obviously left from past visitors. Like the ice cream shampoo etc One of the beds was broken and had a wooden stump holding it up. I tried to sleep on it and woke up a few times through the night as my feet were higher than my head. Made for a saw body at sons wedding
- Nicole (10/5): Relaxing - The setting was gorgeous, the games room was a bonus with having a teenager with us. Don’t think she touched an electronic device for the 3 days - except to take photos. Nothing
- Natalie (10/5): Exceptional - Cosy relaxing escape Nothing I didn't like
- Doherty (10/5): Exceptional - So serene.
It had everything you needed so you could relax
- Antoinette (8/5): Very good - It was very peaceful, clean and cosy.
The heating beautifully warms the whole house.
The kitchen had all the staples for home cooking.
The game room was a great touch. we enjoyed an evening of drinks, pool and music on the juke box.
Cosy beds.
Great views.
20 min drive from Warragul town centre.
Steve was a great host, allowed us to check in early and even gave us a late checkout which was the cherry on top of an excellent stay at jindi Hills retreat. Shower head and pressure was poor but sufficient.
- Stacy (8/5): Very good -
- Hall (6/5): Pleasant - The breakfast goods left were fine. The games room was appreciated and put to good use. Thanks for having us stay. There were mice in the ceiling which kept us awake.
- Dianne (7/5): Good -
- Neale (1/5): i request at least some of my money back - the septic system needs maintenance and the stench throughout the house was horrid.
the house needs general maintenance inside and out and should not be leased until the work is done.
there is a tiger snake living under the house next to the entry gate. this should be removed.
- Nicole (8/5): Always love it at Jindi Hills - This is my 3rd stay at the property - we love the quirkiness! It's located in one of our favourite parts of the world. ITs peaceful, surrounded by livestock and just relaxing! A few maintenance things that were not a big deal! The property could use some love!
Nothing impacted our stay!
- Kenneth (9/5): Superb - The view was stunning! Very peaceful and relaxing, loved there were lots of locations to sit around the property. Well equipped kitchen, comfy sofa.
Love the cute garden statues etc. Couple of minor things. .Shower needs to be resealed. Probably need some new pillows.
- Angelie (10/5): Great place for small group of people to hang out and relax. everything catered for, thanks Stephen! - Great base for snow day !
