Guest Reviews
- Corrine (10/5): Sensational, comfortable home with fantastic facilities for all types of groups. - Beautiful spacious home, perfect for our large family group. The gardens were just exquisite in autumn. Could not fault how well equipped this property was. Loved the owner’s witty info sheets through the property. Can’t wait to return in the future. Absolutely nothing to fault.
- Messner (8/5): Good value and very relaxed - a relaxed atmosphere, lots of accommodation and a host who was jovial and easy to deal with
- Mirelle (1/5): I wouldn't recommend this property to anybody. - It wasn't clean and the owner blamed my group of people for the mess that wasn't cleaned up by the previous guests! There was no lock on the door and no keys!!
- Caroline (9/5): Great house with lots of room and perfect location. - Great location with plenty of room lots of information provided which was great.Chris the owner was really easy to deal with replying to messages promptly. Nothing
- Kathryn (9/5): Cosy and comfortable base to enjoy everything Bowral has to offer! - Great location; well furnished; very clean and comfortable for everyone
- Matthew (10/5): -
- Helene (10/5): It was very relaxing and suited four good friends who like to get away. If we are still hale and hearty im sure we will - This was our fourth visit. Four friends who over the last 26 years have been having a girlie time away. Now in our older years and also with a dog need a relaxed bigger property to fulfill our needs. Size of the home. Felt very welcome. Was very clean and fresh. Lovely kitchen if you wanted to cook for yourselves. Comfortable beds. Very quiet and had a wonderful country vibe.
- Marian (10/5): - Very comfortable with everything we need. Seems that one bed missed out on getting clean sheets but therewas another bed to move to. Otherwise everything was very cleaan.
- Tanja (10/5): -
- Glen (10/5): Fantastic family stay in quiet neighbourhood. - The property was excellently presented, very stylish, and had some great characteristics. It had a great all around temperature, both day and night. We loved the Mary Poppins inspired room names, and found the layout to suit our large family. Greatly appreciated all the labels in the kitchen and easy instructions for washing machine. Also loved seeing some VeggieTales in the house for the kids (one of our favourites!). Can't rate our stay high enough! Rain prevented us from enjoying the back yard and we would have enjoyed the wombat trail. The mirror on the back of the door in the Bert room wasn't attached and banged each time the closed. The light didn't work in the bathroom, only the heat lamps.

- Fiona (10/5): Great house for a family Xmas together. Lots of room and good facilities. - A bedroom for everyone. Great kitchen facilities and appliances for a large group. Nothing

- Deborah and Gary, Alayne (7/5): Great time again, but small cost effective enhancements would make it even better. Thanks! - Really lovely home just out of town at Bowral. Plenty of space and lovely gardens and facilities. Owner was very warm and helpful. Stayed there four years ago. Felt it could do with a little refresh. Pictures were pretty bad and mattress in kids room is uncomfortable for an adult.
- Fran (4/5): - Location was good It wasn’t clean. Dishwasher was full. There was a glass with water on the bedside table in Jane and Michael’s room. Hair in the bathrooms and a towel just squashed into the towel rail.

- Annette (10/5): Our stay was not enough thank you 🙏 - We liked everything about the house
One of our people Ken Moore noticed there was 4books written by Chris Cooper Well he grow up with him and wanted to know if this was his house
Well now I can ring Ken and tell him yes he will be so please All good thank you
- Kathie (10/5): Very comfortable stay - Lovely big home. Great location, central heating
- Andrew (9/5): Superb -
- Helene (10/5): Perfectly peaceful and relaxing. - This was the third visit a group of four friends and a little poodle.
We love its location. The house is big enough for the four of us to feel at home but still spacious. We need a place that accommodates our friend’s little dog.
All ages are catered for. As the eldest lady is 81. We tend not to go out other than for lunch and a browse of the shops so the comfort and set up of the house suits us. The setting is peaceful and relaxing. Nothing
- Judy (8/5): Overall a very good stay with a few small issues - The kitchen was great for 4 older ladies away for a food and sewing week as was the house. we had all that we required and LOTS of ice. Lots of space, comfortable beds and pillows. The quality of the towels was appalling.....like sandpaper! the plates in the kitchen were too high to access easily, saucepan lids didn't really fit the saucepans and quite honestly I don't think the cleaner is doing that good a job.
Also the master bedroom and the small bedroom smelled of cigarettes...there was an ashtray on the outside table with ciggy butts in. If we stay again which we would like in 6 months time I hope that the water temperature is hotter.
The owner emailed me a couple of times but I wasn't able to contact him....rather frustrating
- Christine (8/5): The house is spacious and clean, and our family feels comfortable. - The location was safe and quiet, and we really enjoyed eating breakfast outside while looking at the garden. None

- Rona (6/5): The location was good, probably more attention to detail would improve the experience - Location was good There was old opened milk in the fridge and there was no key in back door as advised. Also rooms a bit dusty.

Walking distance to local eatery
- Mark (9/5): Superb -
- Sophie (10/5): The whole family enjoyed staying at this property. Will definitely be back - Great location ; has something for everyone (swings and trampoline for the kids); secure yard, very spacious. Nothing negative about this property
- Elizabeth (9/5): Spacious and comfortable house for a multigenerational family weekend away. - Spacious and comfortable house for a multigenerational family weekend away. Quiet location. Great kid friendly garden but unable to take advantage due to wet and cold weekend. But it was the middle of winter. Seems some minor repairs are in progress. But otherwise no problems.
- Julie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Peta (10/5): Exceptional -
- Wendy (8/5): Good value house with plenty of space and great hosts with very good communication. - Plenty of space Probably number of bathrooms getting ready for wedding
- Rodger (10/5): Exceptional - We loved the space , ambience and the fact that everything you needed was provided. And a big thank you for providing the spa which was a great hit with the family. The location was excellent. It was so quiet and yet everything (shops, cafes, clubs, pub) was within easy access. Lovely neighbourhood for walking or riding the bikes which were provided. Plenty of off street parking. Thank you for your hospitality. A BBQ would be a great addition and If I have to be picky an extra TV somewhere. But really, just having the one TV made for great family time _ there were 10 of us.
- Helene (10/5): Perfect escape to the country with good friends. - It was a return visit as we enjoyed our stay so much last year. It is a beautiful home and suited the group of friends perfectly. Absolutely nothing.

- Pip (9/5): It was ideal for what we needed, and we would stay there again - It was very spacious and we were glad to have more than one bathroom. The location was fantastic and in a quiet neighbourhood. Not much to fault. Perhaps take the photos out of the bedroom said one of our group members.
- Julie (8/5): Very good -
- Joanne (8/5): Very good -
- Helene (10/5): It exceeded more than our expectations. An absolutely beautiful property that catered for all our needs. Would definitel - The house was just amazing. It far exceeded our expectations. It was spacious, well maintained and so comfortable that it felt like home. we were four friends who hadn’t managed to get away together since Covid. It just was so well set out.The bedrooms were so comfortable and welcoming. The owners has put so much thought into making their home feel special. There were so many special touches throughout the house. Big bonus was it is pet friendly as we had a beautiful little poodle with us. It was in a beautiful part of Bowral. Absolutely nothing.
- Saul (9/5): Superb - Great big house. Perfect for a family or a few friends. Great back yard. Lots of room. We had a great time there
- Jenny (9/5): Beautifully appointed with everything you could wish for to enjoy the Southern Highlands - Each of us had our own private space and the bedrooms gave us that sanctuary, definitely not disturbed in any way. A little apprehensive with not locking the front door when we left to visit the surrounding areas and at night only the screen door was the only security we had when we were a sleep.
- Sadiq (10/5): Exceptional -
- Slaven (9/5): Superb -
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional -
- Geraldine (8/5): Very good -
- Mariangelo (5/5): Not what i expected - no keys at all had to leave door all unlocked ...
then asked to put all used linen in the washing machine and strip the beds.
i have never been asked to clean the place and do washing when i check out.
and if you don't want to leave keys then but a keypad system in to punch in a code...
for such a beautiful house get new cleaners, place needs a good clean
- Martin (8/5): good accomodation for a family it group - size and location nothing
- Gail (9/5): Superb - Space comfort everything really 💖 We had some unexpected visitors who located your place as a Tesla charging point on the Tesla app. They were desperate and had two elderly women in the group of three so we felt obligated to let them charge up. They were with us for a couple of hours
- Gail (9/5): Superb - Great location and very comfortable.
- Lyndall (8/5): Fabulous! -
