• Stephen (9/5): Very pleasant stay in a quiet but easily accessible location. Metes from beautiful beach - Fantastic location. Property very clean and tidy.The little extra touches such as heaps of games, some books etc, loads of crockery and cooking utensils make a stay much easier. Don’t think bedding and towels should be charged for. Should be all inclusive for the price.

• Darryl (8/5): comfortable house that was previously an older persons home - There was no breakfast and the keys were on site in a locked box The house was very comfortable and homely. Plenty of space. The kitchen was well appointed and we were able to cook meals to our hearts content. Bathroom was a good size as was the lounge room. Laundry facilities were good to use. Abbey is 15 odd minutes south of Busselton;Eton but there are plenty of shops to meet your needs.

• Lorraine (7/5): Abbey Beach shack Busselton - Great space for everyone in our group. Good access for heading south to Cape Leeuwin lighthouse and then back north into Busselton. Expired milk left in fridge and ice-cream in freezer..made us question cleanliness. Having to bring our own linen as it added way too much on cost to hire enough linen. This made our packing a problem. Only communicating via email, never seeing the owner/manager. I also do not like the fact you never see who you are dealing with, very impersonal.

On arrival th - the fully functioning kitchen I was not sent any details regarding the check in to the accommodation nor the requirements for the house. On arrival the code for the lockbox on booking.com was incorrect and the owner of the property knew this yet did not pre inform myself of this. We were expected to bring our own bed sheets and towels as there were none, again, I was not informed of this so some guests had to go to the shops late at night to buy sheets. The beds were also uncomfortable. Overall not impressed with the accommodation and will not be returning.

• Elaine (7/5): we enjoyed our stay, only 2 nights so maybe if a longer stay there may have been a few improvements but the location is - great location to the beach older property but great for kids with the games and toys. Our family had a lovely couple days. The beds were very comfortable, nice to have the extras in the pantry and bathroom. Think you need a tempering valve for hot water as that is a safety issue regarding kids. Possibly need to upgrade to a better hot water system.

• Jessica (10/5): Perfect holiday home on the beach - pet friendly - Loved the proximity to the beach! 3 doors down from Abbey Beach which is dog friendly, we started every morning with a peaceful walk down the beach. Lovely big backyard that our pup enjoyed so much, plus the dog door was very helpful! Rooms were very spaceous, inside and outside dining areas were great. Big kitchen and BBQ facility were great when we decided to cook our own meals. Love how netflix was on the TV so that we could watch a good movie in the spaceous lounge room. Definitely will consider Abbey Beach Shack next time we come down to Busselton! Would love to stay again. Hot water took awhile between showers which was a bit of an inconvenience. The long list of cleaning to do afterwards meant that even though we woke up at 6am, it was difficult to get everything done that was required by the host.
