Received all channels but TV itself very weird brightness and contrast. Unable to get satisfactory adjustment. Gave up trying to watch it.

We contacted the manager and we were offered another room. As we had access to two cabins we could see that they are in need of a serious upgrade.

A cosy, perfect stay nestled in the forest a few minutes from town. - Very easy, we contacted the reception and they already had the cabin prepared and opened for our arrival. Extremely easy. Loved the location, loved the log cabin and the deck area was perfect to wake up to for breakfast. I would only suggest some basic amenities (like hand soap) and a small pile of wood for the indoor wood fire would have made the cabin even more cosy.

Edwards (8/5): A little gem - Great location grandkids loved it, they also loved the novelty of bunk beds. They fed the birds and rode their bikes up to see the goats. Only 5 mins to town and beach. It gave the impression it was 2 bedrooms, it was not, the queen bed was in the living room. Also only 2 lounge chairs for 5 people.

Wang (9/5): - Located in a quiet wood. Very comfortable and lovely wooden cabin. Everything is clean and free of smell. A good place for families. Not far from the downtown and the beach.
B (2/5): - Good location and the wildlife was beautiful The cabin was dirty, there was mould everywhere (bathroom, shower, basin, windows etc). There were stains on the bed sheets, the Pillows were about 2 inches thick and horrible to sleep on. The bedding in the kids' room smelt horrible. There were candy wrapers under the kids' beds and so much dust everywhere. The outside table and BBQ were dirty. The hand railing around the deck was falling off, not safe for kids. There was a dirty ash tray beside the BBQ and cigarette ash all over the bench beside the BBQ. The kitchen bench was sticky, and the dish scrubber had grease and marks all over it. We had to ask for dish clothes, detergent and a clean tea towel as the one provided had food on it. For a cabin that sleeps 6, there were only 3 forks. There were stains all over the fabric couch and carpet on the floor. Disgusting...... The cabin is old and run down, very uncomfortable. We honestly couldn't wait to get out of there.

We came 11 years ago with no kids and we did this trip to show our kids the lodge and get them out from the normal life but we didn't experience the fire pit outside due to having to provide wood for the fire place as well which makes it harder for the pocket.
