Guest Reviews
- David (10/5): Excellent stay, good location, great value - Great location
- Kathryn (2/5): Uncomfortable and dusty and did half the work of the cleaner before we left - The surrounds, the fauna Beds were very uncomfortable. Getting the key from the key lock was frustrating. Made at least 10 attempts before it opened. The tv - no free to air viewing. The reverse cycle - difficult to navigate.
- Vanessa (10/5): Comfortable and relaxing. - The location was perfect. View of mountains from the front and back and the kangaroos and emus on the recreation reserve in the morning and kangaroos again late afternoon are a highlight.
I have visited and stayed in many places in the Grampians and I would have to say this is one of my favourites to date. I would recommend this accommodation to all my family and friends and would love to have the opportunity to visit again. I didn't like having to leave.
- Shani (10/5): -
- Linda (5/5): Adequate for overnight stay if eating out - My overseas guests liked the kangaroos in the garden. Dirty chopping board, broken can opener, no big pot to cook dinner, stove top has uneven temperature when cooking with multiple pots.
Broken dirty chairs outside.
Caution needed if sleeping upstairs as the rafters are very low. I’m very short but still managed to hit my head on the rafters.
- Hildegard (9/5): -
- Sharon (8/5): -
- Andrew (9/5): Serenity in Halls Gap - The peaceful setting and proximity to facilities Nothing, it was perfect.

- Mal (9/5): All i’m all it was memorable we loved it and going to be back, the fire place was cosy - the place and surroundings were beautiful, was clean and comfortable to be honest there was not a lot that i didn’t like, but if I am really fussy the outside light at the back wasn’t working and there wasn’t enough light in the Bbq area
- Louise (9/5): great -
- Vivienne (10/5): Highly recommended cosy comfortable and clean cottage close to town centre and the trails to explore - the property was so close to everything. beds were comfortable, the cottage was very clean, had everything we needed, plenty of walks around, so much wildlife around the cottage, kangaroos, emus, ducks and an array of birds. Lovely spot outside on the patio to sit, a fantastic ramp at the back for those who can't manage the stairs at front. A BBQ The neighbourhood was very quiet and safe. The owner was very helpful, We just loved our stay and would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay at Halls Gap, There was not a thing we didn't like everything was great

Firewood just lying around in long grass.
- Jeanette (9/5): Comfortable beds and unique in having 2 bed 2 bath - Perfect location, needs a refresh on cutlery and crockery. Otherwise fabulous
- G (9/5): -

Comfort and exceptionally clean.no No wifi 😢 Unable to keep in contact with family. A new set of cutlery will be good
- David (6/5): - TV remote worn and made it difficult to use TV easily. AC remote the same. No internet available.
During our stay, owners came on site to burn rubbish. This should be done between client stays.

- Laurene (8/5): very enjoyable stay in this very conveniently located wooden villa. - Location, ease of the key lock, kitchen space, couch and beds very comfy, movies were used. spa was super comfy. downstairs heater was not very efficient, we always felt slightly cold , even pulled out the small heater to boost it, no wifi but that was my fault for not checking before hand. no tv downstairs, but I get the walls are not conducive to it. otherwise it was perfect
- Adam (10/5): Exceptional -
- Darko (9/5): Superb - Property is in a great location, facilities were great and the fireplace is a great touch. Everything was clean too. It has a great charm Being a little picky, the bed mattresses aren't the best but they do the job, also no shampoo in the toiletries. But these are not deal breakers.
- Cate (10/5): Loved it. - We loved our stay at Kiramli Villas. The location was excellent and it was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed.
- Rick (9/5): Superb -
- Pratik (7/5): Good stay, could have been better if the cleanliness was focused by the host. Not worth $230/night - Location was very good. Just 1km away from town centre. There is a good trail just across the road which is good for walk and bike rides in the morning. That trail takes you to town centre. It was mountain view from the balcony. Place needs a bit of cleaning. Sofas were dirty. It was bad odour when we opened the cabin for the first time. Spa tub was not cleaned properly. Kitchen utensils needs some refurbishing.
- Leanne (9/5): Great place to stay - Great location, easy walk to everything including some lovely bushwalks around the Gap. We had a fantastic long weekend, which included a visit to one of the best markets I've been to in a long time - just across the road! It was a hot weekend, and the aircon was fantastic. The unit was very comfortable, private and clean with everything we needed. Loved it!
- Leonardus (8/5): Nice overall. - Lots of wildlife, right next to footy oval and close to town. Spa was great. Nice outdoor setting on raised platform. Crockery was a big mish-mash of odd bits and so were the pots and pans- they need a makeover. The One recliner is in need of repair.
- John (8/5): Will definitely consider returning next time we are visiting the area - Brilliant location and ideal for 2 couples NA
- Ayman (8/5): Very good -
- Dave (9/5): Lovely comfortable cabin in a beautiful location. - Beautiful location, super comfortable beds and everything one needs for a self catering stay. Nothing - except we didn’t stay long enough
- Maryanne (10/5): Exceptional - Great to have the two villas for multiple families.
- Kilroy (10/5): Exceptional -

- Leang (8/5): Very good -
- John (9/5): Superb -
- Amanda (9/5): Superb -
- Angela (8/5): We enjoyed a lovely time away - Perfect location, clean and tidy. Broken dining room chair, the outdoor furniture was very dirty, the spa did not work, only one decent size wine glass, they asked for used laundry to be placed into laundry bags but we could not find any?
- Helen (9/5): Superb - So Quiet, great location
- Justyna (8/5): Very good -
- Sue (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kiffa (10/5): Exceptional -
- John (8/5): We loved our stay and wouldn't hesitate to stay again. - Location was great, accommodation was clean and comfortable. It had everything needed for a short stay. Cutlery and some dishes including cooking utensils were dirty from previous tenants. This was the only downside.
- Alexandra (10/5): Exceptional -
- Stacey (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rachel (9/5): Cosy villa, situated perfectly in town. - Great location, central to town/many walks. The wood fire is beautiful on a cold night.
- Sammi (9/5): Superb -
- Isuri (9/5): Superb -
- Lyn (8/5): Quiet, comfortable cottage, surrounded by beautiful scenery and lots of kangaroos and blue wrens - Fabulous location, quiet and relaxing. Lovely view of the Grampians from most windows. Clean and good facilities in the kitchen and laundry.
Wood fire and provision of lots of wood, kindling and matches. Able to take just a short walk into town and a good base for hiking. Some wine glasses would be good and there was a note on the dishwasher saying it was leaking, It looked like it had been there a long time but we were hesitant to use it incase it flooded the floor.
- Jenny (9/5): Very enjoyable - Quiet area but still walking distance to Halls Gap town centre, lots of wildlife. Wood fire was a bonus on a wet cold day.
- L (8/5): It was great - No breakfast supplied The Queen Mattress in the bunk room to hard needs a topper
- Kim (10/5): Perfect weekend away for Wonderland Running Festival - Walking distance to town, warm, comfortable, cosy
- Rongrong (9/5): Great place to stay. - Quiet location. Clean room. We saw deers and kangaroos near the place. Great value for money.
- Anjanette (10/5): Exceptional - Everything there was nothing to complain about, beautiful location and wildlife was amazing to see on a daily basis. Can not wait to go back.
- Rachel (8/5): Warm, cosy and spacious - best cabin we’ve stayed in by far. - Loved the location, the fire and the hot tub were such an added bonus! Kitchen was so well equipped. The cabin was spacious and so clean. The fridge was leaking and the dishwasher drawer and door catch are probably on the way out but neither impacted our stay at all.
- Carissa (8/5): A very cozy cottage, close to everything and the wildlife - Great location. The fire and the wildlife Possibly could have been a touch cleaner there were dirty dishes in a draw in the kids room
- Luanne (7/5): Great thank you - Location was fabulous. The heater wouldn’t work properly, a window was broken, a window was cracked and the lock box broke when opening. Tree cutters were really noisy in the mornings. Great place just a few set backs. Broken things, lockbox broken, heater wouldn’t work properly.
- Jennifer (9/5): Cosy Cottage - Lovely wood fire and wood supplied, air-conditioning upstairs and down ,close to shops , comfy beds ,bathroom upstairs and downstairs
. The kangaroos outside kitchen window . Only thing was the lovey wood fire was downstairs and the main sitting TV area was upstairs but did keep nice and warm upstairs too.
- Alli (9/5): Extremely family friendly, clean cabin in beautiful nature location. - Gorgeous location, very clean and well laid-out cabin with high ceilings and a large jacuzzi that the kids loved. Good sized table for family games that were provided. It was located in a quiet tree-lined area right behind the oval near the high street. Lots of kangaroos and birds around. The cabin stayed warm and comfortable despite the winter cold and such an easy to get to everything around the grampians. I think there may have been a recent accident with the property sign, but when we arrived, it was a little hard to find the right driveway and where to park in the dark on our approach. The bed was a little squeaky too. Otherwise it was fabulous.
- Cosima (8/5): Very good - Good location, easy to access and very clean. Perfect little family stay.
- Trevor (9/5): Overall a lovely place to holiday. As a first timer to the area, would recommend staying at the cabin. - The location to the town. The fire was great & everything you need to start it. The proximity to nature was amazing. The kangaroos & the birds were amazing. It was very peaceful& comfortable. The kitchen was a little tight to prepare meals & some of the cooking utensil were left dirty.
Some of the neighbors entered into the cabin vicinity close to the windows which we felt breached our privacy.
- Stephanie (10/5): Perfect for families - Every you needed was located in the cottage, close walk to town and so much wildlife.
- Carol (8/5): We had a lovely stay but would have liked pantry space - Position and atmosphere No pantry
- Monique (10/5): Great cozy stay, great location! - Close to town, cozy and has everything you need. Nothing
