• Rebecca (10/5): Comfortable and welcoming stay in the heart of Armidale! - We loved our stay at the Beardman! The house feels cosy and inviting. The electric blankets were so good, and we loved the living area. Dave and Bec went out of their way to assist in making our stay comfortable. We will be back! Thanks! We loved our stay here. Nothing negative about the property or hosts! A few areas of the kitchen could do with a deeper clean but other than that it’s absolutely great.
• Jodie (9/5): Truly wonderful place to stay. Love it. - Clean, great layout, amazing location and beautifully styled. A true oasis, it felt like home. Whilst my husband and son didn’t think so, I prefer a slightly softer mattress due to having lupus. But to be clear it was a me problem.
• Sarah (9/5): Wonderful. Keen to go back. - Gorgeous house which has been renovated beautifully. It was homely, decorated well, great location. The couch was so comfortable. Kitchen very well equipped and great to have a few staple pantry items on hand. Oven was a bit smokey. Sometimes there was a bit of a gap when the bathroom door was closed (there was a knack to getting it right and didn’t bother us).

• Leonie (9/5): We had a wonderful weekend.The house is beautiful and the little touches were much appreciated. - Communication was really good. Directions were excellent. Good off street parking. A little noisy late on the Friday night, but there was a music festival on in town and couldn’t fault the location.

Small drying rack for washing Electric blankets fitted. Handy location to restaurants and cafes Parking was available but was a little inconvenient on a wet day. Lock on bathroom door was a little fiddly- but this is a very minor thing. Perhaps a sensor light at the front door would be helpful- it was very dark when we returned home at night. It would be nice if a highchair could be provided

• Olivia (9/5): Lovely place to spend time and great location - Lovely house in a great location. Kitchen well stocked for cooking and communicative helpful hosts. Easy off road parking, good wifi in living area, fans/heating excellent, comfortable Wifi does not extend well to the back of the house where the work desk is. Blinds in 2 of the 3 bedrooms don’t cut out the light.
• Greg (9/5): Superb - Location was great, close to everything. The only thing I'd like upgraded is the TV to a smart TV so I could stream foxtel or Netflix.

• Kristine (10/5): Fabulous stay and if we're in Armidale again, we'd love to come back! - We had a wonderful stay at the Beardman! The house was very clean and comfy. The aircon provided sufficient warmth throughout winter, along with the heater system in the main bedroom. The doonas were super warm and comfy (this was a real highlight!) The house is walking distance to some local pubs and other eating places, which is super handy. Thank you for hosting us! Block out blinds were in the main bedroom, but we would have loved them in the other rooms too, especially with the external lights remaining on all night (perhaps security lights). But this was a minor detail.

All bedrooms had heaters and electric blankets. Nice spacious bathroom and laundry facilities. Very enjoyable stay! Wish we were booked for 2 weeks not 2 days. Definitely home away from home. David & Bec our hosts were amazing!

Offstreet parking was appreciated as there is a 2 hour limit in the street during business hours. Bed in main bedroom did not meet comfort expectations.

• Sonya (9/5): Perfect for a family - Location was perfect for what we needed. Beds were comfortable and the house was spotless. The renovation internally has been very well done. It was super-hot while we were there with no A/C in the bedrooms which made it somewhat uncomfortable to sleep.

Everything was spotlessly clean & we had all that we needed for a weekend stay, boardgames were a nice touch. Lovely little place, would definately recommend staying here. Not much to complain about, maybe a king size bed in the master, that's about it

The back door was hard to open & close, one of the power points didn’t work & there was a hazard with a power board off a power board under the bed in the main bedroom.

Appreciated milk in fridge after long drive! Maybe extra blankets in the cupboards for those that need them
