• Bannister (6/5): We had a nice family holiday for a week, despite the problems above. A NEW cleaner is needed.! - It was a quiet area and walking distance to the shops and surrounding streets. The children loved the pool, even though the water was freezing cold and could not be heated. They also enjoyed the half tennis court. On arrival, a shocking odour came from the kitchen. The small flip top bin had not been emptied. Rotten meat was still in the bin and it was filled to the top of the lid, assuming it was left by the previous house renters. I had to wash out the fridge, due to foul smelling meat liquid, which had not been cleaned, before putting my foodstuffs on the shelves. There were no bathroom hooks or rails for the towels and no toilet brushes in the toilets. I had to buy a brush for the upstairs toilet, which I left at the house. The front porch had not been swept of a lot of leaves & upon opening the front door, all the leaves blew into the house, which I then had to clean. The pool pump was very noisy outside our bedroom and could not be turned off. It was on day & night!!!! I can honestly say, I left the house cleaner than I found it.

• Linda (9/5): - The home was spacious, modern kitchen, fabulous swimming pool, 1/2 tennis court and activities We had a wonderful stay, perfect for our family of 7 adults and 2 children We could not find the instruction book The towels were not located on the bed or the bathroom. All bathroom soap was found under the vanity, initially wasnt sure there was any. Found an unlocked linen cupboard upstairs and found towels there. Could not find the out door rubbish bin, it was loocated separate to the bins on the kurbside behind a tree A carton of long life milk would have been appreciated The 12 chairs to the dining table were on top of the table on arrival..l wasnt sure , given we couldn't locate bath towels, soap, shampoo, nil instruction book on bench etc if the house was ready for us or not. Given the cost of $2700 for 3 nights v expected these details to be taken care of.
• Husain (9/5): - The facilities were quite good for the kids. The place is spacious and well maintained Rangehood was not working and the property manager were not readily available to respond to requests during the stay
• Ishan (10/5): Amazing stay perfect for families with kids! - The amount of activities the property had was excellent All the amenities was sorted Tv downstairs was a bit slow
• Paola (7/5): Great for kids, some minor renovations, good cleaning job and new furnishings will make this place worth the money. - Our review looks like the first one on booking.com so want to be honest & fair for future guests. The tennis court, large dining table, number of bedrooms, large bed sizes and location was great. All beach provisions, like inflatable kayak, body boards and beach marquee was awesome. Kids absolutely loved the pool, table tennis in garage, basketball ring, upstairs kids couch/bean bag area and of course they loved wifi access & PlayStation. Adults enjoyed outdoor area we could watch the kids in the pool and cook up a bbq which made life easy! This is feedback from all our guests, toilet seats didn’t stay up, living room couches were uncomfortable, main bedroom/ensuite & upstairs toilet had no privacy lock, shower screen glass door was close to shattering glass shower screen in both bathrooms. The pool was good but the size was small for the number of guests, our kids only used it which was fine but adults didn’t really fit in it with kids. Lack of kitchen condiments like coffee options, tea, sugar, we ended up buying our own. We used our Eski to store cold food & drinks as fridge was too small. Not much of a welcome message from owners or property managers, we’ve stayed in a few places at this price point and we received a welcome note with a wine or basket of goodies, instructions how to use appliances, guest book or suggestions of places visit. Overall maybe with a good decent clean of house & spiderwebs, more comfortable furniture, a nice welcome message and fix up of bathrooms and this place will shine.
