Guest Reviews
- Theo (10/5): It was very peaceful and a beautiful area. Had a great time - Everything was nice and clean, we were provided some amazing food for breakfast and the host were happy to help with anything we asked. Nothing comes to mind
- Smith (10/5): Honeymoon night bliss - Amazing location, friendly owner who would do anything to make your stay amazing, prefect place to spend a few nights, Wether it be after you amazing wedding in the Dandenong Ranges, or just for a cute couples weekend. Highly recommend
- Suzannah (10/5): Gorgeous cosy cottage in a great location - Beautiful, cosy cottage with gorgeous views over the forest. Loved the open fire, breakfast provisions and the decor- the little personal touches made it feel very homely. Pia was very easy to contact with questions. Location was great- just a short walk to supermarket and restaurants. Highly recommended- we definitely hope to come back!
- Sarah (9/5): Superb - A really sweet, cosy & private cottage! Pia and Tim were wonderful hosts.
- Geoff (10/5): We stayed 3 nights and loved the setting, we will definetely be back and highly recommend to everyone - Beautifully appointed and such a lovely setting Everything was perfect
- Shayne (9/5): Very pretty cottge in the forest. - Cottage was beautiful and its location is excellent for those who want to spend time in Olinda, Sassafras and Mt. Dandenong. Everything was great, although if I have to improve something it might be the water pressure in the shower. It's adequate but not very strong.
- Ranee (6/5): Had grand expectations, was pretty ordinary in comparison to other Regional Victoria stays. - Very clean and tidy. Owners sent too many texts, may I add one was at 2.30am
Dreadful shower.
Expensive when compared to other stays in Victoria.
Car covered in sap.
- Chandelle (8/5): Very good - Good hosts who provide assistance when you ask, they also give you lots of advice of the local area as well as suggestions. The provided breakfast far exceeded what you normally get with lots of extras. Lighting is adjustable if you want something dim to relax with. Private property with no others attached and a nice view of the canopy. Lots of room for parking no matter what you drive. The spa was nice, however it was dirty and the water was a little discoloured even after a long water running time. Not a negative but watch your head if you're tall, my partner bumped his head a few times on the angled ceilings. Rocky steps down to property and steep staircase inside will make it difficult for people who have a movement disability.
- George (10/5): Magical Cottage - Everything we expected of a little cozy cottage- in-the-woods was there.. warmth from a big wood fireplace, breakfast choices, nestle coffee capsules aplenty, sleepy soothing yoga music CDs!
Kookaburras gave us a gentle wakeup call each morning, and oh, to top it all of.."Bambi" made a stopover on day2..just magical! Nothing
(.. maybe a refill of bread, eggs for 5 nites stay?)
- Dmitrii (10/5): Fabulous getaway for a couple - We absolutely loved it. It is such a romantic cottage, beautifully designed and so thoughtfully organised so that we had all we needed. Every item looks special and chosen with love. It was wonderful to have a fireplace, the bedroom is very cozy and the little balcony allows you to feel immersed in the middle of the forest. We highly recommend it. It would be good to have a USB adaptor. Also we’d recommend to have a handrail along the whole line of steps leading towards the cottage. The steps can be slippery. Otherwise, an excellent holiday place.
