Guest Reviews

- Belinda (6/5): We were comfortable enough, overall, and I guess what we paid was low comparatively. - Location was great, and the sea was just across the road. No parking problems. No noise problems. Place clean. Sagging ceiling, wind coming through ill fitting windows, depressing half dead indoor plants. Front door hard to open, and difficult entry for disabled person.
- Hector (5/5): High price/ resort prices for the 'shack' acommodation. - There was no breakfast provided. The view from the kitchen window was amazing. We could see beautiful birds as well. Communication was fast but a binder with the cottage and local information would have been helpful. The cottage was clean and I liked the fact that it had laundry. The door handle on the door from the bedroom to outside was missing and was stuffed with material. This did not make for a secure presence. There was a wood stove but no kindling and when we did use it the stove smoked. The vast majority of places we stayed in while travelling for over a month in Australia provided milk in the fridge. It is a nice welcoming touch which was not provided. We paid resort prices for the 'shack'.
- Stephen (8/5): Very enjoyable. - The originality of the house and the sea view also the record player was great . The bath towels should be updated and the deck and BBQ area could have been better presented and tidy up outside.
- Richard (8/5): Lovely location for a break - Location and sea views. Nice and quiet. Laid back but close enough to get to Apollo Bay No
- Delwyn (10/5): Exceptional -
- Robert (10/5): We found rest and relaxation in this little Shack - We liked everything about the Shack! It is a down-to-earth original (historic) bach and we felt transported back in time. It has all the original things you need such as comfy kitchen, beds, etc, but also a touch of a past when seaside houses were just to getaway and have a holiday and have a complete break. The location is just amazing, a walk down to the beach... We could have stayed much longer
- Jason (10/5): Great location and very cute little shack to stay in while exploring the Otways and Great Ocean Road - This beach shack is a very cute place to stay, I liked that it has a proper kitchen, fireplace and lovely views. There is also lots of entertainments options with a turtable, Apple TV, DVDs, and lots of great books and magazines. The windows frames are getting a bit ragged and could do with being replaced. Not a big deal though.
- Leon (7/5): Good - Location Kitchen was cramped.
- Hugo (10/5): Exceptional -
