• Cary (1/5): Garbage from previous use, no towels, sheets not cleaned, ZERO value. Beds were dirty, dishes left - The location was close the the venue we were attending. This stay was awful. The home was dirty, hosts were unresponsive, backyard trashed. bsolute Nightmare. Do NOT Book This Place. The photos on Booking.com are clearly old and heavily edited. What we got was a dated, smelly dump that felt unsafe. We paid $300 for this? Total rip-off. Zero value. Booking.com should be ashamed for even listing this property. I will be disputing the charge and warning everyone I know. This place deserves to be shut down. JstLikeHome is disgusting. This was the worst Booking.com stay we have ever had. JstLikeHome is a filthy, broken dump that should not be listed on the platform.On arrival the house was disgusting: dirty floors and counters, plastic cups on the floor, grimy light switches and walls, and the oven still had old food from previous guests. There were 10 overpowering air fresheners everywhere that made it hard to breathe. Towels were damp and unprepared, shower and sink mats were dirty, almost no hangers, not enough cups or cutlery, and zero coffee filters.Major problems included: One toilet that didn’t flush (only fixed on day 2 after we contacted Booking.com) Broken living room sofa Broken kitchen sink Dishwasher not secured properly and tipped forward out of the cabinet Basement TV with no cables and unusable Completely unusable backyard We arranged garbage pickup but they never came. For a full week we had to keep all garbage inside the house. When we finally put it out, animals tore it open and spread it everywhere on the front step. My wife and daughter had to vacuum and wash the floors immediately just to make the place barely usable.After everything, they offered us only $26 compensation. $26 for a week of filth, stress, and ruined vacation? Completely insulting.We documented all of this in chats with the owner. Zero standards, zero care, zero professionalism. Do not book JstLikeHome. This place is a health hazard and a total scam. We will be disputing the full amount.

• Camille (6/5): Nous avons apprécié notre séjour. - J’ai apprécié l’emplacement. La maison offrait un nombre de chambres et de lit adéquat pour que tous aient son espace. Il manquait d’équipement (débarbouillette, bols à mélanger, assiettes pour les enfants, sel/poivres, doudou et coussins sur le divan) Le divan était défoncé aussi et les murs sont sales.

• Chrystelle (1/5): Très décevant car nous avons passé toute notre soirée a attendre après l’hôte - Il y avait de l’urine dans les matelas de 2 lits qui ont imbibés les draps et couvertures . Nous avons interpelles l’hôte qui nous a dit qu’ils allaient venir en urgence , à 21h 45 finalement ils nous ont écris pour dire qu’il était trop tard pour se déplacer. Nous sommes allés acheter des draps et couvertures au magasin afin de dormir sur le sofa qui n’était pas du tout confortable. Déplus les équipement de la cuisine : micro onde, frigidaire et vaisselles étaient sales. La salle du bas avec les 2 lits d’enfants n’avait pas été nettoyée non plus. Étant donné que l’hôte assure que le ménage a été fait, il nous propose un dédommagement de 50$. C’est vraiment insultant.

Comfortable , big house, has every amenity any family with kids needs. Great kitchen , comfy beds, everything is very clean . The location is great- only 10 minutes drive from downtown of Ottawa , located in a nice , quiet neighborhood . Has parking . The host was very nice and communicative and responded very quickly . As a whole - we enjoyed our stay tremendously ! Nothing - everything was great .

The host is very responsive and accommodating! Convenient check out, no need to laundry bedsheets and towels! Our big family of 7 love it!

• Darlene (10/5): Comfortable and convenient for a large group. - The place was very spacious and perfect for our group of 7 with extra room to spare. We visited Ottawa during a heat wave and the ac was well equipped and kept us nice and cool indoors. Elissa was very attentive and communicative from the time that we booked and throughout our stay as well. We especially were grateful for the washer and dryer that was available in the vicinity. The basement area was a little scary at night but since it had the bunk beds and a pull out couch no one slept alone down there anyway. We also were staying in Ottawa for a wedding so it would have been nice to have a few extra mirrors in the rooms for getting ready but we still enjoyed our stay!
• David (5/5): Relativement moyen - L'emplacement etait bien puisque situé à environ 15/20mn du centre ville. Le lave linge + sèche linge étaient un parfait + . Les instructions étaient particulièrement bien expliquées pour l'entrée et le départ. La salle de bain à l'étage supérieur avait un plancher très fragile où on avait l'impression que le sol allait céder. La chambre du sous sol a besoin d'une rénovation urgente . Il fait froid. Humide . Et le plafond est complètement pété. Nos filles ont eu peur d'y dormir. Heureusement nous sommes resté qu'une seule nuit. Les messages intempestifs qui débutent 2 semaines a l'arrivée afin de proposer de rester plus longtemps ou arriver plus tôt dans le logement moyennant de l'argent sont trop nombreux et gênants. Et de + ce n'est même pas intéressant vu les tarifs. Nous ne reviendrons pas

• Sautron (6/5): - Les instructions pour accéder au logement étaient claires, l'entrée dans les lieux s'est faite facilement. Nous avons passé une nuit dans ce logement, tout s'est plutôt bien passé. Les chambres du haut étaient plutôt confortables, ainsi que le salon. La connexion WIFI est appréciable. La chambre du bas n'est pas du tout agréable. Il faisait froid et la propreté n'était pas au rendez vous. La propreté en général dans le logement est à revoir. Une petite rénovation pourrait rendre ce logement plus appréciable.
• Olivier (5/5): - Pas grand chose ... seul point positif on peut garer 2 voitures devant la maison La maison n'était pas propre. La chambre avec lit superposé et canapé convertible se trouve au sous sol de la maison. Ce n'est pas aménagé pour y dormir convenablement car c'était très sale et il y avait des courants d'air. Les autres chambres avaient aussi de nombreux défauts (pendrie cassée, matelas inconfortable, ...). Nous ne recommandons vraiment pas ce logement. L'aménagement de l'extérieur est inexistant. Il n'y a qu'une seule salle de bain et tres peu de vaisselle pour une maison censée accueillir 12 personnes.

• stéphanie (5/5): - The appartement is close to downtown Ottawa. Theres shops and restaurants close by. The appartement was not clean. The floor was sticky and the beds kinda seemed dirty. we found hairs in most of them. The duvet of one of the bed smelled like girl perfum at some places. It didnt seem wash at all. one of the drawers in the kitchen was reallly dirty, with lots of crumbs inside. The back door wasnt close when we arrived because it was broken. The bathroom is old with dust on the shelves and the bath is dirty.

• Amina (1/5): No sentence needed. NASTY - nothing. Nothing was good. One of the worst stays I’ve had. Had really good expectations but was only met with a nasty smell, the accommodation was not clean at all. Dust everywhere that everyone had allergies, pillow and laundry was extremely dirty. Had to get my own blankets to sleep. Dirty cloths under beds and pillows, broken furniture, there was a chair that was broken and that went down the worst way possible. Sheets were disgusting, the wifi does not work at all and the tv never turned on. It smelled like a big dog peed on the house, yellow stains all over the bedsheets and pillows. AND the spiders were special effects I guess they were going for Halloween theme for real. Let’s not forget the clogged sink, had to unclog it myself, flowing down like Niagara Falls everywhere. And there are no locks on the washroom doors so make sure to have an extra long hand to hold it. If you’re planning on staying here do yourself a favour and don’t.

Stairway carpets are in need of a good cleaning Shower is handheld and cannot be hung up as holder is broken. No legs on the sofa so it’s very low to the floor and uncomfortable also. 4th bdr in basement looks cute in pics but I wouldn’t put kids down there (no egress window)

Al llegar encontramos tres de ellas en buen estado pero la cuarta , si es que se puede llamar así , ubicada en un basement y el paso para ella era sucio , descuidado , olor a humedad , en fin , nadie podría dormir allí. Ni siquiera se tomaron la molestia de limpiar el lugar y al hacerles saber nuestra decepción, no volvieron a responder nuestros mensajes , así que nuestro grupo confirmado por 8 personas, tuvimos que acomodarnos en lo que teníamos y que no fue lo que pagamos . DECEPCIÓN TOTAL

• Mariola (1/5): - Absolutamente nada. La estancia fue malísima , fuimos a pasar una noche y estuvimos a punto de marcharnos cuándo llegamos, pero era de noche e íbamos con una niña pequeña. Todo estaba muy sucio, ni siquiera nos duchamos del asco que nos dio. El frigorífico sucio El labavajillas absolutamente lleno con todo sucio de los huéspedes anteriores. Una vergüenza Te quedabas absolutamente pegado en el suelo andar. .

• Andrea (7/5): Good place - The property was good. Our requests were taken very fast. The property is well located. Not far from downtown and closed to many commerces. Need some refreshment but it is good.
• Elven (3/5): Decent price, but not worth the uncomfortable stay. Not enough toilet paper, sticky floors. - The price was reasonable. The sheets looked clean and the toilets seemed to be cleaned prior to our arrival. I hate leaving bad reviews, but this place is not as advertised. When we arrived, there was still food left in the sink. There were bits of food crumbs all over the floor and the floors were sticky. The kitchen was not equipped with proper kitchen knives and there were used sponges for cleaning the dishes. The dining chairs were wobbly - to the point where it felt unsafe to sit on (two people had to stand and eat at meals). We had access to partially used rolls of toilet paper left in the holders - NO NEW ROLLS OF TOILET PAPER WERE AVAILABLE (we checked the entire house). Hence, we had to go out the next morning to buy our own toilet paper, which is unheard of for a rental property. It should also be noted that the room with bunk beds is located in the basement and you need to go through a dark and dirty utility room to access it. Thankfully, we didn't need to use it. Some of the power outlets (kitchen, bedroom) did not work. Overall, it was a very uncomfortable and disappointing stay.

• Stefan Ramlau (8/5): Good house for a family weekend in Ottawa. - The has an excellent size to accommodate a family of five for a weekend trip to Ottawa. The kitchen is well-quipped and the beds were comfortable to sleep in. Furthermore, the place is ~15 car minutes away from most of the touristic spots in Ottawa. We believe that the bathrooms could use an entire revamping soon. However, they were acceptable, but not smashing.
• Fabrice (3/5): Décevant... - Les chambres de taille raisonnable - la gestion financière de l'établissement. Nous avions payé avant de partir et on nous a de nouveau sollicité la veille. Beaucoup de stress car nous étions en excursion pour au final repayer une seconde fois et attendre le remboursement pour se faire prélever la caution (sans prévenir au préalable) - les photos sur l'annonce loin d'être la réalité on sent qu'il y a eu du vécu - il n'y a pas un seul carreau de carrelage non cassé ce qui est dangereux surtout dans la salle de bains où nous sommes pieds nus - la buanderie....pas de commentaire. Il y avait du linge dans la machine je n'ai même pas pu du coup faire une lessive - le mobilier branlant : table de cuisine, siège... - 3 télécommandes éclatées - PlayStation inutilisable autant l'enlever Le prix n'est pas en adéquation avec l'hébergement

• AGNES (8/5): - Si vous êtes en voiture, cette maison est parfaite (10 minutes du centre ville) . Au calme, avec une bonne literie et une cuisine très bien équipée. Notre famille a passé des belles soirées dans ce petit nid. Certaines chaises sont branlantes et certaines lampes de chevets étaient disfonctionnelles .

• Manfred (6/5): Never again. - Die Nähe nach Ottawa Zentrum war gut. Es ist eine nette Nachbarschaft. Die größe des Hauses war gut. Obwohl die Kreditkarte bei der Buchung hinterlegt war, musste man nach einer erneuten Aufforderung per SMS seine Daten nochmals schicken, sonst gab es keinen Code. Das Haus war nicht sauber gereinigt, Essensreste unter dem Esstisch, Kühlschrank und Backofen ungeputzt, in der Spülmaschine stand das Wasser. Unter den Betten war seit einiger Zeit nicht gesaugt oder gewischt worden. Insgesamt ist das Bad und die Küche deutlich in die Jahre gekommen ( Fliesen kaputt, Armaturen wackelig oder lose.) Die Handtücher waren zum Teil an den Seiten ausgerissen und sahen eher wie Putzlappen aus. Der Reinigungsmann kam nach der Beschwerde und hat es sich angeschaut, aber auch nichts geändert.
