• Tanya (1/5): Avoid like the plague - prop mgmt co crooked - Gorgeous, private. Lovely friendly owner who obviously doesn’t know who he’s in bed with. We received confirmation of our stay from BOTH the property mgmt co and booking dot com 2 days prior. The property mgmt company (PMC) is crooked (we are reporting them to the Feds, BBB, & all other avenues) &, among other fraudulent asks, tricked the RCMP into evicting us with minutes to pack despite booking dot com’s assurances we were 100% paid up & confirmed. The trouble started months earlier when the PMC wanted additional money & personal info above the booking dot com “final price” + an additional off-app contract that states in 2 places the app contract supersedes their home-grown one. These are all illegal practices &, as the app people confirmed, I was correct to refuse them. PMC sent a guy as big as a house in a black Escalade plate # PH106J (give or take a digit) to spy on us & they claim they were never paid (false) & that we “bullied our way in” (false). In reality, we paid as per the contract & the owner let us in after a pleasant chat.

• Margaret (8/5): Enjoyable stay overall. - Location, house layout was good for 2 couples with 2 full bathrooms. Parking. Tight spot for one car only. Closest parking was a block away on another street for second vehicle. Few minor maintenance issues.
• Karen (10/5): Stunning location near the beach and beautiful property, might try to keep this one a sectet. - Friendly host, the accommodation was stylish, clean and well equipped with a personal touch and homely feel that is rarely available in a holiday rental, a car would be preferable for this property, but it is a flat walk into town if you are mobile. ten out of Yen from us. Restaurantsi in Sidney close at 8pm or 9 pm even at the weekends, which is unusual for a holiday location, other than that no complaints and we were all sad to leave, wish we could have stayed longer.
