Right by the train station that takes you directly to the lifts. although the heaters were fully on high, the apartment was very cold downstairs. also, the parking space is very weird and would not work for a large SUV or truck

• Giuseppe (9/5): - Kleines Juwel, gut versteckt. Das Jupi-Hüsli ist ein Geheimtipp mit ganz wenigen Abstrichen. Sehr schön ausgebauter ursprünglicher Schopf, mit viel Liebe zum Detail (z.B. Treppenhauswand). Der Tischfussballkasten im 'Wohnzimmer' war für uns ein Highlight. Die Lage in Göschenen ist für Ausflüge in eine Vielzahl von Richtungen perfekt (Andermatt, Realp, Oberalp, Schöllenen, etc.) - unbedingt eine Gästekarte online kaufen (freie Bahn- und Seilbahnnutzung zwischen Disentis und Realp für 20.-/Erw.). Kein Backofen, im Wohnzimmer 'nur' Sitzsäcke.

• Mark (10/5): Very enjoyable stay with an amazing host. - Close to Andermatt with a short train ride (12 minutes). Close to the start of the mountain passes that we visited during our stay. A well equipped, warm and comfortable home that is much better than a room alone. We couldn’t fault the layout or comfort and loved the coffee machine and hair drier.

Nestled in an awe-inspiring Alpine setting, the chalet offers breathtaking views right from the window — the kind you’d usually only find in postcards. The home itself is beautifully designed, combining rustic charm with every modern amenity you could possibly need. It's clear that every detail has been thoughtfully considered to make guests feel both comfortable and inspired. We only wish we had more time to soak it all in. This place is not just a stay, it’s an experience — and one we’d highly recommend to anyone seeking peace, beauty, and a true taste of the Swiss mountains. Denis and his family were wonderfully warm and helpful, always prompt and kind with their responses. A heartfelt thank you to them for making our stay so memorable. This is, without a doubt, a must-stay gem in the Alps. Nothing comes to mind

There is a round trampoline right outside one of the windows and when children are playing there - it might be a noise problem. But it was fine during my stay. The trek from the train is challenging if you have a roller bag. Uphill stairs and cobblestones. I walked all around the two bridges to stay on smooth pavement.

Small Grocery store right down the street. This was our 2nd stay and realized there is a "honor pantry" hidden right in the walls near the front door. Full of goodies and snacks with prices on each. Such a helpful and fun idea!! Parking space is very small--only 1 car. Wasn't a problem for us, but if it is 2 couples staying there, keep in mind there is only 1 parking space

Owner replied fast to messages. Liked everything about the property! Minor point for improvement: One room does not have window rolls/curtains but this was no problem for us.

Easy access, parking right in front of the house for one car. We stayed only 1-night. Downstairs floor was cold. Strange smell came after taking a shower, most probably from the shower curtain.

• Marie (10/5): Excellent experience, a perfect stay. - 1. The house is charming, clean and nicely designed with an incredible attention to detail. There is a fully equipped kitchen including dishwasher, microwave, fridge and Nespresso coffee machine. Coffee pods, dishwasher pods and laundry pods are provided in large quantities, as well as wine, tea, some food and basic cooking ingredients. The kitchen and a game room are located on the ground floor. Then there are two comfortable bedrooms and a beautiful bathroom on the second floor. Furthermore, there is a washing machine hidden in a small cabinet located on the ground floor. This cabinet is large enough to store all the luggage and other stuff, which helps keeping the house neat all the time. 2. Parking is free, the parking lot is right in front of the house. 3. The host and hostess went out of their way to make sure that we were comfortable. They were incredibly kind, attentive and helpful. 4. The location is ideal for every traveler. The house is located within 3 minutes walk to Göschenen railway station. Trains heading to Lugano/Locarno or to the north of Switzerland run every hour. There is also a small train to Andermatt, so one is perfectly connected. Moreover, Göschenen is close to St. Gotthard tunnel and the highway, if one prefers travelling by car. There are also very nice hiking trails around. 5. There is a well equipped supermarket in the village that closes at 6:30 PM. A bakery and two restaurants serving local specialties are just around the corner. All in all, our stay in Jupi Hüsli couldn't be better :-) There is only one Jupi Hüsli. I would love to find such a beautiful house in every location I travel to...

• Claire (9/5): Lucky and rare opportunity - Quiet place; parking place in front of the house; easy check-in; friendly and very helpful host; all clean; complete kitchen appliances, coffee, tea; cosy rooms; big shower room, italian shower with massage shower; comfort beds it would be useful to inform guests in advance that it's impossible to switch on the electrical heating in all rooms simultaneously (dining room+2 bedrooms+shower room), since the fuse fails. The heating only works at a time either in bedrooms or in dining room and shower room. It would not be a problem if we knew this particularity, but since we didn't - it took us all the evening to figure it out and switch off the heating in the dining room in order to be able to warm up bedrooms. Pity that we have figured out this fuse problem too late, and could not enjoy the dinner on the ground floor since it was too cold.
