Guest Reviews

- Daniel (10/5): Great life in the Colombian rainforest. - Staff was amazing including the hired guides. People were genuine and made you feel at home. The food, 3 meals a day, was superb. Being right on the ocean was a big plus. Planned activities kept us busy all day long. The lid music from neighbor's houses.
- Olivier (8/5): Very good -
- Becerra (7/5): Good -
- Karel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dolly (8/5): Una experiencia bonita - Ana María, the owner, is very kind and has good recommendations about activities. She always answered my questions on time and was taken care of me getting there and gave me all the information necessary to my trip to Nuquí. The house is surrounded by Ana María's plants and gens, that was nice. The food that they offer was always delicious. The room was clean. People in Arusí are very kind. You can ask for Mr. René and go to Cabo Corrientes and have an amazing day talking with a great person and an experience lider and fisherman. He has a lot of stories and is a joyful and kind man. The beach had trash and the neighbors listened to music aloud, but this is common around the area of Chocó, so you need to be patient and bring headphones or ear caps if you don't tolerate the noise. They said it is frequently mostly in December because families meet up and celebrate.
- Chloé (8/5): Very good - You will feel at home in the house of Ana Maria, her family and all the merry group of animals (dogs, cats, chickens). Ana Maria will help you get information on everything to do around the town of Arusi, the Pacific Coast is truly an unending wonder. Please do inform yourself before travelling: Choco is a remote place, no hot water (to me the temperature was absolutely fine), about 1 hour of wifi and electricity can go out. This is common on the whole coast so don`t go and blame it on your host :) This part of the coast can unfortunately be burdened with trash. With the global rise of ocean waters, the water carries trash that was previously buried, and the garbage disposal system is close to non-existent. Again, absolutely not the host`s fault.
- Santiago (9/5): Superb - The hosts were amazing, Ana Maria really loves the native hotel, she works for the community, she loves the small town Arusi. If you like to walk we recommend to walk to both sides of the property for the beach. The property is a native room for the basic requirements, it isn’t a luxury place but it is a lovely place.
