Guest Reviews
- Gelinas (8/5): -
- Wendy (9/5): Superb -
- Terri (9/5): We were there for a ball tournament. It wasn’t too far from the diamonds and far enough to be remote - It is such a beautiful area and cute little cottage. I was expecting smaller from the pictures but was happy when we walked in :) There was no tv but we didn’t really miss it. No wifi but again didn’t really miss it.
The only problem was the lane way. We had a truck so it was ok but I’m not sure my traverse would make it up the hill.
- Denise (10/5): A must return, many times ahead. - Absolutely Amazing!!! In every way.
Facilities are amazing. Cozy fire which warms the place at night in minutes.
The View!!! Does not get any better.
My daughter fished on her own everyday and caught many bass , trout right at the bottom of the stairs.
The neighbourhood was very inviting and neighbours were kind and protective of my daughter and I since we were alone and concerned about that. No worries there.
Never ever left comments on any rental in my life. This is a Gem. Do Not hesitate!!! Not one thing
- Denise (10/5): Does not get any better - Amazing, beautiful, everything you need and more. Don’t hesitate.
- Anna (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dan (6/5): We enjoyed our stay despite the problems. The property has a lot of potential but needs improvement - The location is excellent. It has a beautiful view of the river.and is a short drive from Fredericton. There is also a lovely beach nearby. The glassed in porch is a lovely space for relaxation. The stairs leading to the River where broken as was the washing machine. The bed in the second bedroom was not very comfortable for adults. The lounge chairs outside had spiders. There was no wifi which made it hard to get in touch with the owner/manager as they did not check vmail and texts regurlarly.
- Charlotte (2/5): Terrible cabin and experience - The vacuum had good suction. Lots of towels.
Very cute decor old and new . 2 zero gravity chairs were nice, lots of parking space. Friendly quiet neighbors. We booked 6 days. 14 hours to get to this cabin from woodstock Ontario.
We packed up at 9am on day 4 and left. Not joking.
Shower backed up. We would have to shut off the water in between washing ourselves and only turn it on to rinse and it would still be at the very top of the shower starting to spill over
Also the shower temperature was either freezing cold, really hot, or extremely hot. No in between.
No curtains. The whole world could see into the living room and kitchen. The only curtains were in the bedroom and bathroom.
1970 coffee maker. Not to mention old stale coffee. We had a feeling, so we brought our Keurig.
Expired spices.
Dirty bbq. We open up the barbecue and it has old food on it. The brush was gross and also we found it on the ground
No fish in lake. Like seriously not a single fish. That's the reason why we chose this cabin because it was right on the river so we could fish.
Dirty dishes. Whoever used the dishes previously did not clean them properly.
Dirty bedding. We lifted the sheets to the two separate beds and there was grass and dirt and pebbles in the sheets.
Little toilet paper (2 rolls) .and 1/10 of a bottle of dish soap 1 sponge plus the old crusty leftover one from previous people.
Washer /dryer. We put a small load of clothes on and after 8 hours we had to stop the washer because it was still washing the clothes, so we put it on spin and rinse and then I set it to dry only and look 15 minutes later and it's washing the freaking clothes again. I had to do another rinse and spin and watch it carefully then had to drape our clothes over the deck for it to dry.
Door doesn't lock. The door at the front of the house does not shut properly and does not lock whatsoever we tried for 20 minutes to get it closed and you can literally push your foot on the door and it will swing open.
- Anonymous (9/5): Great value and such a cute cottage. - Location was amazing. Quiet road and lots of games. More lamps in main room so no need for fluorescent lighting (sorry I hate it)
Drain in shower is slow
- Laurie (10/5): Exceptional - Everything No curtains on windows
