- Alex (9/5): A great place to stay by the ocean but discuss with the owner a few little things. - It's a great option to spend a few days at the Pacific Ocean in a countryside in Chile. The cabin itself is great and the ocean view from the balcony/both rooms with a glass-wall is gorgeous. A restaurant and a cafe with a basic food counter 3 houses away further the street, a full-blown grocery in 2 mins drive. The cabin has a kitchen counter with a fridge, microwave, a stove, a kettle, and a toaster. It's a bit cold at nights so I got to close the curtains otherwise the cold air from the glass doors/glass wall was way too cold. Although there were plenty of warm and thick blankets, there is no any portable heaters at the property. The kettle seemed a brand new but sometimes not turning off keep boiling producing steam condensing all over. The microwave same seemed a brand new and operational but the turning table missing. The owner can check on these things before welcoming guests. The last thing is the owner waxed the hardwood floors just prior to my arrival so freshly waxed floors stank really bad. Opening all doors/windows the first night until it got really cold didn't help and I almost didn't sleep because of that strong stink. Later days it got better and eventually vented off. I had mentioned the waxing to the owner - no response. Otherwise I would give it 10 out of 10. When booking I'd suggest to discuss the waxing floor thing. The floor looked great, but, the first night I wasn't able to sleep because of so.
