• Eesh (6/5): Pleasant - The location and cleanliness were the only two facilities we enjoyed during our stay. Washer and tumble dryer proved useful. We were on a long trip and stayed in many apartments in the past few weeks and unfortunately Mayer’s Swiss house proved to be most uncomfortable one. All the bed rooms are on the upper floor or in the basement. It’s a nuisance carrying all luggage through narrow stairs especially if you have been in a long trip. Another challenge is in case you are travelling with elderly parents, they may face huge issues. They have only one bathroom, the other one is just a toilet with wash basin. Not good for six adults. I would request the owner to update the description in their listing so that travellers can make an informed decision while booking the accommodation. It may not be a problem for some, but we did face huge inconvenience during the entire stay. Also the lighting in the living area was poor. Mattresses were springy and uncomfortable. Overall, not a comfortable stay for us.

• Tien (10/5): Lovely Interlaken stay! - Located in a safe, quiet neighbourhood, with restaurants 10-15 minutes away by foot and the Oberland shopping centre nearby. The host Fabrienne was incredibly friendly, helpful and responsive, plus they live just next door. The kids enjoyed a quick dip in the pool. The kitchen was well equipped with an oven, induction stove, hot water boiler, dishwasher and others. The washing machine and dryer worked very well for us. Ample parking space for the Volkswagen Caravelle I drove. Great starting location to go on day trips in the Interlaken region! We would love to stay here again. Nothing at all.

Children's bunk bed room downstairs. 1.5 bathrooms. Ground floor has only toilet and no shower. First floor bathroom has toilet and bathtub with shower.
• Salini (5/5): Good Garden, Basic Stay—Fell Short on Warmth - The house provided the essentials—kitchen, bathroom, beds and a nice garden! The stay was fine overall, but a warmer welcome would have made a big difference—especially considering the host lives nearby. A small gesture like a hello or having basic supplies like dishwasher tablets available would have gone a long way. A costly stay with minimal return!
• Rahul (10/5): Best Homestay at Interlaken - Great Location, calm area, 2 mins distance to bus stand, grocery store. View of the mountains from balcony was wonderful. To reach the place, most efficient way is to get the Bus No. 105 from Interlaken West station & drop at Matten b. I. Gsteigstrasse, it is a 1 min walk or you may take Bus No. 104 from Interlaken OST station & drop at Matten b. I., Mattenstrasse then 1 min walk (follow the google map). Very comfortable beds and maximum 6 people can accommodate comfortably. The only problem is that it have only 1 bathing area (with WC) & 1 separate WC which is a bit issue (those who preferred bathing in the morning). However all other amenities are exceptionally good. You get a full fledged kitchen. Our stay was WONDERFUL!!! 1 bathing area.

House has all amenities and special kids playing room. Must recommended to stay for anyone travelling Interlaken. Second bedroom is too small.

The garden of the house is beautiful and equipped with a pool. It was such a nice feeling to stay in this house. There were a few things that made our stay uncomfortable. The mattresses in the room with 3 single beds were very uncomfortable. No lock in the washroom on the ground floor. No toiletries in any washroom. Cutleries were not complete in kitchen

Public transport using 104 & 105 bus numbers allows you to connect with anywhere in Interlaken. Special mention to the owners who helped us immensely during our stay

• Yueting (9/5): Great stay overall - Great location, we were able to comfortably tour Interlaken, Grindewald and Lauterbrunnen as there was a bus that led us directly to the terminal stations. There were many beds in the house so that everyone could sleep comfortably. The host was extremely helpful and offered to help us store our luggages on our last day there while we continued to tour around Interlaken. Description mentioned that there would be 2 toilets- but it is actually a 1.5

• Regine (10/5): I love it, will definitely come back again! - It was perfect! The apartment is huge and had more than enough space for 5 of us! It’s very clean and the facilities are all working in good condition. Please please chill outdoors at night, the views are beautiful and the night skies are amazing!! The hosts are really sweet and friendly, overall the best experience staying in an apartment throughout the trip! Not much of dislikes but things to take note of if you’re booking in summer, it can get a little bit warm especially for rooms with no fans! There’s a bit of bugs as well but that’s interlaken for you!
