• Sonja (9/5): Superschöne Unterkunft - Eine supergepflegte schöne Unterkunft, nahezu luxuriös, bestens ausgestattet, mit einem Salzwasserpool, in dem man sogar richtig schwimmen kann, und einer Küchenzeile, in der man tatsächlich was kochen kann. Im Prinzip das schönste Ferienhäuschen, das ich je hatte. Ideal , um für ein paar Tage auszuspannen. Das Vermieterpaar Alain und Johanne ist sehr nett, hilfsbereit und hat wirklich gute Tipps für die Umgebung. Wir hatten dort kaum Handyempfang und das Wifi ist auch eher unzuverlässig, insofern sollte man sich auf ein bisschen Digital Detox einstellen. Die Unterkunft befindet sich in einer langen unbefestigten Straße, wirklich in fussläufiger Nähe ist da nichts an Läden oder Restaurants. Ein Auto ist absolut nötig.

• Nadine (10/5): - sehr herzliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Villas waren sehr gut ausgestattet. Poolanlage und Villas sind liebevoll eingerichtet. Alain und Johanne waren super Hosts und wir fühlten uns sehr gut aufgehoben. (sehr gute Tipps für Ausflüge und Restaurants in der Nähe) nichts

• Jacco (10/5): Heerlijke locatie waar we zeker nog een keer naartoe gaan als we naar Costa Rica gaan. - Het zijn fijne huisjes op een heerlijk rustige locatie met een heerlijk zwembad of even in af te koelen. We hebben er drie nachten naar volle tevredenheid verbleven. We hebben zelfs nog een aantal watervallen bezocht met de gastheer en gastvrouw. De weg ernaartoe is misschien een beetje uitdagend maar zeker de moeite waard.

• eric (10/5): Great place to visit for a few days - Comfy bed, real Costa Rican feel as there were not any glass on the windows, you hear nature outside. Lovely salt water pool and lots of seating outside. There was a fan above the bed and in the seating area outside, it was plenty. We loved it; the monkeys came for a visit as did the Agouti, and you see all the birds as you are up on a hill. The kitchen worked great with lots of functioning pots and pans, so we could make our breakfast. Our hosts were fantastic with information on how to get there and recommendations on restaurants and places to go. It would be best to have a car.
• Marco (10/5): Best stay in Costa Rica. Do yourself a favour and book now. - This is a little piece of heaven and just what we were looking for to relax for a few days. I can wholeheartedly recommend anyone to stay here it is peaceful tranquil there's a beautiful pool and lovely outdoor furniture and a great gas barbecue that guests are allowed to use. Johanne and Alain are a truly delightful French Canadian couple and really made our stay even better. They gave us lots of helpful tips for eating and sightseeing And also called us as soon as the howler monkeys appeared so we could watch them through binoculars and showed us some fantastically colourful caterpillars as well. There are just two casitas and they have been built with a great deal of taste style and comfort. There is a lot of bird life around and one morning we went for a walk just down the road and saw an anteater crossing the road. All in all it felt like a home away from home and a little bit of luxury and we can't wait to go back again one day. Nothing really except having to leave. Okay the Wi-Fi can be a bit sketchy at times but who wants to know what's going on in the outside world when you're staying in a garden of Eden.

• Laura (10/5): Exquisite peaceful cabin in the heart of CR nature - Have spent 3 weeks travelling throughout CR staying in 7 different lodgings from Thermal Spa Resorts in Arenal to simple rooms in Corcovado NP - and this was our standout place. Beautiful tranquil paradise -staying in a cabinas in the perfect garden of Johanna and Alain was a joy. Amazing dawns with birdsong monkeys and mist rising off the rainforest surrounding us. Great location close to Ojochal with its lovely small set of bars restaurants delis and supermarket. Steep road up/down to the property - a little bumpy in a short section - but easy to negotiate after you have done it once.

• Karnizor (10/5): Exceptional - It's a beautiful place, with a wonderful garden and a great little swimming pool, with enough place for swimming and cool bar chairs in the pool. A nice room with a well equipped kitchen. The host was extra nice and friendly - he contacted us about things we have left in the place and made sure we get our stuff back . Thank you!!

• Christiaan (9/5): Architecturally unique and spacious cabins and very helpful staff. - Spacious and uniquely designed cabins. big windows without curtains facing the forest. we spent 3 nights and loved it. big plus is also that it is close to Wilson’s botanical garden. The staff are very kind and helpful. The kitchen offers good quality meals. We stayed in cabin 4, which has the most quiet location. We loved the place. Only suggestion is that the floor of the cabin could be cleaned better, which is easy to do.
• Linda (10/5): We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Buenas Brisas and would love to stay there again. - The casita was perfect with everything we needed to cook for ourselves if we wanted to and plenty of breezes coming through the screened windows. there is also a fully furnished, nice covered terrace for sitting outside. Loved the pool! Perfect for swimming laps or just relaxing. The hosts Alain and Johanne are lovely people, very helpful and attentive. Walking distance to the Village of Ojochal.

• Stefan (4/5): Very noisy construction work on site and next door - Beautiful place and pool - when everyone around has finally finished construction it WILL be very nice Too much noise and construction running from dawn to dusk. The owners should let you know that their neighbours are constructing and that they are also, or offer the rooms at a far reduced price with full disclosure until the works are complete. We felt like we were staying on a building site and it is far from relaxing experience and would definitely not stay there in those conditions - or for the price
