- Guest (10/5): Espectacular - La vista en l noche la maravillosas estrellas No hay para comer nada cerca
- Carolyn (8/5): Well equipped cabin in a spectacular mountain.location. - The setting is spectacular, almost at the highest point of Costa Rica and we were often completely engulfed in cloud. Watching the cloud spill over the mountains was fantastic especially at night with the stars out when it was cleared and the cloud was below the cabin. You do need a 4x4 to get there easily. It’s up a very steep gravel road. Our hired rav 4 did it but there were a couple of places the wheels spun
The cabin itself is very spacious with a lounge area, kitchen, dining area and 3 bedrooms
There is a wood fired stove inside and fire pit out as it gets cold at night
Elyn the host was responsive and helpful although we never met him it was easy to contact him through WhatsApp It was mainly all very good. There were a couple of small things that would have made it excellent.
The wood burning stove was full of ash which we had to clean out to get a fire started. Whilst there were logs to use there were no fire lighters or kindling. We’re very much used to making fires but we struggled. So adding these things would help others.
Also it is the only place we have ever stayed (and we travel a lot) where there are no top sheets on the beds, just a bottom sheet and blankets which felt odd and was very itchy. A top sheet would have made a big difference to our comfort

- Catherine (10/5): Amazing view! - The view is AMAZING, the cabin is well equipped and very well desinged. It truly is paradise up there. Make sure to go out at night to see the stars and the lights of the village down the valley. The host is nice and made sure we were comfortable even tough the village lost power during the night. Don’t hesitate for a minute and book, just bring warm clothes and start a fire to make sure to sleep comfortably because it gets cold at night. We had a wonderful time! Nothing really

- Ronald (9/5): The calm and the view make up for everything… I defenitly return - Awesome view. Spacious. The cleanliness was not optimal. But worse was, I had the impression the owner didn’t care too much. I had to find myself a way in to the house… a game called ‘crack the code’. Nobody showed up for what’s o’ever…
- Irina (9/5): Very beautiful and peaceful place - Very nice, calm location in the middle of jungle. You wake up with beautiful view and birds. Cosy wooden house with small fire place. There is also a kitchen with all basic equipment. I definitely recommend this place! Only small remark: there are no duvet covers for the blankets.
- Lisa (9/5): Restful, beautiful, outdoors. - We used the kitchen for our own cooking, make sure you have done your food shopping in a town before you arrive!! Loved being up in the clouds, the peaceful and beautiful surroundings! Bathroom could use a bath mat and hooks for towels.
- Denis (10/5): Exceptional - cute little house with stunning views
- Christopher (8/5): Very good - It’s an incredible property. The views alone are worth the visit, but the cabin itself is really pleasant. very comfortable sofas and an easy kitchen to use. the fire pit was great fun too. it got very cold at night and unfortunately the pot bellied stove only warmed up the living room area. the bedrooms were very chilly. the bunk bed mattresses were very thin and not very comfortable.
