Lots of bugs/critters but that's to be expected when staying in the middle of the woods. there was a scorpion in the pool table, which was quite scary but the hosts helped.

• Clarissa (9/5): Vie besser als auf den Fotos. - die Unterkunft war eine positive Überraschung. Das kleine Häuschen hatte alles was es braucht , war schön dekoriert und eingerichtet und hatte eine tolle Terasse mit Außenküche und Essbereich und einen eigenen Parkplatz direkt am Haus. Auf dem Gelände waren noch einige Häuser in größeren Dimensionen, die alle sehr besonders waren (Holz-Stahl-Glas-Designs, zb mit See vorm Haus oder auf Stelzen. Das besondere aber war der Garten und Regenwald auf dem Gelände. Es gibt einen etwa 30 Min lagen Spazierweg durch den Wald auf dem Gelände. Wir sahen dort Faultiere und Tukane. Die Fotos sind scheinbar alt und zeigen ein wenig bepflanztes Gelände mit Rasen, während dort mittlerweile eine tropischer Garten gewachsen ist. Unser Häuschen war uneinsehbar mit tropischen Pflanzen umwachsen. Das hat man selten, dass eine Unterkunft deutlich schöner als auf den Fotos ist.

• Guada (6/5): un poco decepcionada - la casa en si era linda Lamentablemete llovio todo el tiempo, y la casa olia demasiado a humedad. Ninguna de las puertas cerraba bien, la parrila no funcionaba y cuando preguntamos nadie oudo asistirnos. Ademas yo habia aclarado que eramos un retiro de 12 chicas y no teniamos sufieciente sillas, platos , toallas o cubiertos para todas. Ademas nos pusieron en cabañas super alejadas sabiendo que eramos un grupo juntas.

• Indira (9/5): Très belle casita, idéale pour visiter La Fortuna et les alentours - La petite casita est très mignonne et fonctionnelle. La cuisine extérieure est bien équipée, il manque juste un égouttoir pour la vaisselle. L’entrée est sécurisée avec un code pour ouvrir le portail. Le personnel est très gentil et à l’écoute. Nous n’avons pas pu profiter des piscines car il n’a fait que pleuvoir durant notre séjour mais la petite terrasse avec canapé et agréable pour se poser dehors tout en étant bien abrité Proche de La Fortuna(20-30min), du volcan Arenal (40 min)et des commodités À notre arrivée, il y avait beaucoup de cheveux des anciens vacanciers dans la douche La cuisine est en extérieur mais le toit n’est plus très étanche au niveau de la poubelle et de l’évier donc le sol était toujours mouillé (car beaucoup de pluie durant notre séjour) Le wifi ne passait pas bien à l’intérieur de la casita, on captait mieux sur la terrasse. Il manque une poubelle supplémentaire dans la chambre en plus de celle de la cuisine et de la salle de bain.

• Antonios (3/5): Not good service - The location was good. Accommodation is nearby restaurants, take aways and super markets. We had issue with toilet. We stayed three nights but we had toilet only one out of three days. We informed staff and owner about the problem. Staff came straight away and help us. Owner sent me message and promised will send a contractor to repair toilet. We’ve been told contractor arrived and repaired toilet but after a while toilet was broken again. Staff asked us to use the shared toilet in living room instead. However, living room was closed during the night and we had no access to toilets. We payed for room with private bathroom but we ended up having a room with shared toilet. This is not acceptable.

La recepción siempre vacía y el que responde por Booking nunca se encuentra en las Villas, trabaja desde la casa. El mantenimiento de la propiedad no es el mejor ni tampoco el de las villas, los sartenes tenían moho y no olían bien. El dispensador de jabón de platos casi no tira jabón y tenía una esponja toda fea. Nunca pudimos hacer funcionar el televisor con el firestick, el control remoto no funcionaba, le cambiaron las baterías y tampoco sirvió. No había agua caliente en la ducha. El servicio sanitario hacía ruidos extraños de vez en cuando y aun sin utilizarlo. No habían Toallas de cocina para limpiar ni tampoco un buen jabón de platos, utilizan uno bastante barato que ni limpia bien las cosas. Llegamos unas horas antes del check in para preguntar varias cosas y si se podía entrar antes, el problema no es que se pueda o no entrar sino la actitud de las personas, lo tratan a uno de ladrón y de que uno es un trabajador. Que formas son esas de tratar a los que les están reservando y pagando por sus servicios. Deplorable. Gracias.

• Asma (1/5): - L'emplacement On est arrivé vers 21:10 et on avait informé par message avant. On n'a trouvé personne et la seule infos fourni était le code pour ouvrir le portail. Ce code n'avait pas marché on a finit par comprendre que c'est parce qu'il y'avait une coupure d'électricité sur la région. Heureusement qu'on avait croisé un résident qui nous avait dit qu'il avait vu des clés et que peut étre c'était à nous. On a retrouvé donc les clés et après on a dû cherché l'appartement toujours sans électricité. Enfin l'appartement comprenait deux chambres à l'extérieur que je déconseille aux gens qui ont des allergies. L'humidté dans ces deux chambres est unsupportable. Les deux chambres à l'intérieur étaient correctes mais climatiseur très bruyant

• Mate (4/5): - Biljke u okruženju objekta su fenomenalne, probuditi se u takvom okruženju je neopisivo lijepo. Krevet je bio udoban. Kontejnerska izvedba objekta, vrata između wc-a i sobe gotovo ne postoje jer ne brtve, pljesan u kupaonici, sigurnost električnog protocnog tuša iznad glave nije baš najsigurnija izvedba.
• Madeline (10/5): - The staff were absolutely wonderful. I stayed here for my last night in Costa Rica and was offered a home-made Costa Rican tamale for breakfast and coffee. They even went as far as to give me a ride into La Fortuna in the morning to meet my shuttle to the airport. Hospitality is unmatched. The only thing thay was not perfect is the palace is a little hard to find and no hot water for my shower in the morning.

• Paula (8/5): Buena estadía - El lugar es hermoso, rodeado de vegetación y muy prolijo. Se pueden ver distintos animalitos por la zona. Cuenta con pileta. Ubicación está ok, fácil de acceder en auto. La cocina cuenta con elementos básicos para comidas ligeras. En resumen, recomendable. La cocina de la casita que alquilamos es exterior, por ende, en la diaria es imposible que no se acerquen hormigas y otros bichos. La habitación no cuenta con black out, por lo cual entra luz desde muy temprano a la habitación. No destaco para nada la atención del personal del lugar. Fue indiferente y desinteresado.

• Anastasiia (5/5): Issues with the property - Beautiful grounds, our villa was beautifully designed, well supplied kitchen. We saw a sloth, kids liked a huge swing. We stayed at Almendros for 2 nights. First night there was no water for about 3 hours, I had to cook dinner for the family using portable water. I approached front desk, but they said we just need to wait. I messaged the host on WhatsApp, but didn't get any response. The last day I wanted to have breakfast with the family before we check out, but there was no power. I couldn't cook. I didn't go anywhere, because front desk doesn't speak English, and we were about to leave, but if we didn't, the food in the fridge would be destroyed.

• Sean (10/5): - We had Casita 1, a converted shipping container, and loved it. Great a/c, decent space, and a tv with Netflix, etc. (not that we used it). Loved the gardens and the pool. Best if you have a car, but, if you do, it's a good location. About 15 min into La Fortuna, and there are good bakeries (one easily walkable) and a couple of small supermarkets in Las Angeles. Secure behind a high wall and metal electronic gate. We loved it.
• Cristel (8/5): Escapadita - La casa es super linda tiene todo lo que se necesita, la cama deliciosa, el baño es hermoso, y la parte de la cocina super accesible con varios utensilios a utilizar (lleven esponja)

• Marina (10/5): Cómodo departamento rodeado por jardines impresionantes - Hermosos jardines llenos de vegetación imponente. Incluso hay un sendero para recorrer. Las piletas están rodeadas de flores y colibríes volando. El departamento es amplio y cómodo. Le faltan algunos detalles para completar el diseño y la funcionalidad. Por ejemplo: la puerta del baño no tiene manija, cuesta mucho abrirla y cerrarla desde adentro. A los costados de la cama deberían haber mesitas de luz para poder apoyar cosas. La galería privada semicubierta debería tener algún equipamiento cómodo como hamaca o reposera, el espacio es enorme pero cuenta solamente con dos sillitas muy incómodas. Las villas no son nada “eco” como dice el nombre. Podría haber al menos separación diferenciada de residuos y compostaje de los orgánicos.

• Marion (9/5): Un super séjour près du parc Arenal - Très belle casita dans un endroit calme et reposant. Décorée avec goût, cosy, s’y sent à l’aise. La literie est très bonne. L’accueil mériterait d’être un peu plus chaleureux Il manque d’équipements de cuisine (une passoire) par exemple.

• Arianna (10/5): Hermosa experiencia - El lugar es muy cómodo y muy limpio. La cama es demasiado cómoda, y el lugar es muy fresco, también cuenta con aire acondicionado. Casi que todo me gustó, solo el único detalle es que nos indicaron hasta que nos fuimos que había cocina y microondas, y no sabíamos. Pero después de ahí, me encanta todo
