• Christian (10/5): Die schönste Unterkunft unseres Costa Rica Urlaubs - Die Unterkunft hat unsere Erwartungen absolut übertroffen. Es handelt sich um ein schönes geräumiges Haus. Die Einrichtung ist wunderschön und der Garten groß. Der Strand ist direkt an der Unterkunft.

• John (9/5): Superb - This is probably the best little place on the strip here in Manzanillo. The house is beautiful and well kept, within a stones throw from the beach. We truly enjoyed our stay, and I'm sure we'll be back in the future. The power went out in the area last night a few times, presumably because of some storms that passed last night. Everything was restored in a reasonable time.
• S.thompson (10/5): Manzanillo haven - Amazing house in Manzanillo!! Just steps to the beautiful beach. When you come back, there is an outdoor shower to rinse off with. The hosts were kind enough to set up a crib for our daughter. The covered deck was wonderful to relax on. Nothing we didn't like! A small suggestion would be to get a toaster oven in the kitchen.

• Ana (6/5): Just fine - The house has plenty of appliances, appears to be safe, parking is very large, and the location is excellent, just a short walk from the beach. The owner did not warn in advance that payment had to be made in cash. The photos do not match the property. The place is not that bright. The house, towels and decoration are old and some things were broken, the garden needs maintenance and the house had too many mosquitoes. There was no television and there is only air conditioning in the main bedroom. I found the price of the stay to be expensive for what was offered.

• Mark (10/5): The staff and house is great. We would definitely rent again. - House was very clean and well furnished. Hot shower, refrigerator for cold cervesa’s, washer and dryer. Two minute walk across the street to the beach. Howler monkeys in the morning with your coffee. Manzanillo is a mellow sleepy little town. It has a couple of small grocery stores and a few restaurants. Tuk-Tuk and Taxi’s get costly. I recommend renting a scooter(we finally did) or taxi. Then you can explore the surrounding towns at your leisure.
• Cindy (7/5): House looks better than it is. - It was right across from the beach. Nicely decorated, but didn’t have any chairs we found comfortable.Large refrigerator with washer and dryer. It advertised AC, but only in bedroom with big crack in sliding doors, noisy fans in living quarters. If you like a VERY firm bed this house has it. Shower hot/cold impossible to control.and slow to drain. Noisy neighbors. Bot fly in house when we arrived, took us 15 minutes to eradicate it. No sink sponge or paper towels. These are picky items, but we feel we paid a premium for the house. To hot and humid to use porch furniture so can’t judge quality of them. We were ready to leave.

• Melanie (9/5): Pineapple house felt like home to us, with the right amenities and location. - it’s location right across from the beach. we could hear the waves roll in. the style and comfort were among our favorite aspects.
• Courtney (7/5): The house was nice, but the neighborhood was noisy and restaurants frequently closed. - PIneapple house is a lovely, large space for two people. The house was clean and nicely decorated. The bed was comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances. The washer and dryer were a big plus. We spent a lot of time on the large front deck in the comfy chairs or hammocks. It is well protected from rain and great place to watch a tropical rainstorm. Manzanillo beach stretches for several kilometers with beautiful soft sand. In town the beach was crowded during the day with Ticos on day trips, but we walked a few hundred meters and had the beach to ourselves. Katia met us on arrival, was quick to respond to our texts with questions, and was very helpful. The location seemed ideal at first, across the street from the beach, and easy walking distance to stores and restaurants. Sadly, the neighbors to the south and behind the house played loud music (bass-thumping loud) at all times. One night it went till 3:30am, another morning it started about 6:30am. The wifi rarely worked and would cut out frequently when it was working. We tried resetting the router, but no luck. We had good cell service so were able to use that. Also the hot water was intermittent. It would cycle through hot and cold when trying to take a shower - luckily it's the tropics and a cold shower is ok. The town seems to be a big destination for day trips, so the few restaurants close early. Colores (just a few doors down from the house) was open most nights, but is quite expensive. We ended up driving to Punta Uva or Puerto Viejo most nights for dinner.

• Philipvg (7/5): A Holiday to remember, a Beautiful Beach, Warm Blue Ocean and Tropical Forest surrounds you. - The location is unbeatable. You walk across the road and you are on an incredible 5km stretch of beach with the soft lapping of the blue Caribbean sea to fill your senses. The unit was very well equipped. The neighbours were very noisy on the weekend playing very loud music from early morning until late at night, but during the week it was quiet. The owner and manager were both very accommodating and compensated us for the noise by reducing the cost of our stay.
