  Traditionally furnished house with wooden beamed ceilings split in 2 levels. Its balconies enjoy views of the river and Troodos Mountain and includes: -iron bed in the bedroom -well-equipped kitchenette with dining table -living room with fireplace -2 LCD TVs. Logs for the fireplace are provided free of charge for the first night and upon charge for the rest of the stay. Please note that the 4th guest is accommodated at an extra bed.

• Michelle (10/5): Very nice appartment - Irene's House is located in Kakopetria's Old Town, very nice location and close to the town centre with restaurants. The host is very friendly and helpful. The appartement is spacious, has cute balconies and a well-equipped kitchen.
• Aleksei (10/5): Очень уютно и мило. Не ожидайте от этого места пяти звездночного отеля, это про милоту и отдых. - Ощущение, что приехал в гости к любимой бабушке в деревню. Если попытаться описать наши ощущения от проживания тремя словами, то это: боже, как это мило. Куча разных безделушек по всей квартире, которые просто так, но создают ощущение уюта. Качественное постельное белье, большая удобная кровать (на мой взгляд слегка мягковатая, но выспаться это нисколько не мешало) В ванной комнате достаточно свежий ремонт, нет ни плесени ни посторонних запахов. 'Джакузи' работало отлично. Не забывайте включать нагреватель воды (там все подписано и понятно) В будние дни было очень тихо снаружи и днем и ночью. Фонарь перед окнами в спальню не мешал, потому что есть blackout штора. Отличное расположение в старом городе. Потрясающий вид и окна (на мусорный бак под окнами не смотрите, смотрите на горы и старый город) Приятно слышен шум реки. По утрам пение птиц. Ближайшая парковка в 100 метрах. Ближайшая таверна через один дом. Улица очень узкая, я на Toyota Yaris еле проехал, но видел, как местные легко проезжают на X-Trail. IMHO не стоит ехать с детьми 3-5 лет (лестница достаточно крутая) Я со своими 196 см роста, всегда привык пригибаться, но жена пару раз стукнулась головой о притолоки, так что будьте осторожны и всегда пригибайтесь.

• Tammar (10/5): A good enough reason to extend your vacation - Apartment in a renovated old building, in the center of the old street. Really great location. One minute from a cafe - bar. Equipped with everything you could possibly need. Too bad we didn't stay longer. We loved everything.

• Arno (9/5): Very pleasant and comfortable stay. - Very quaint and comfortable apartment, very well taken care of, with many personal touches. Very close to the village and amenities. Well located for all the hikes in the Troodos mountains and the Galata Bakery :-) Restaurant/Café in the vicinity not open

Well equipped and very thoughtful presentation throughout. Heating and extra blankets meant that colder temperatures were not a worry. Confusing to find via description of address given. Best to use Google maps on link from actual website. Lack of English language tourist booklets but this is a small detail....the home is a gem of a place.

It's refreshing to step into a space that has been meticulously cleaned and maintained. The house is exquisitely designed, offering a visually appealing and aesthetically pleasing environment. The house itself provides a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, ensuring a memorable stay for us. One of the standout features of Irene's House is the incredibly helpful hosts. We had a problem with one of the appliances in the house, and the hosts at Irene's House are quick to resolve it. The Jacuzzi might require a minor improvement.

• Nick (10/5): Great find, traditional house in a traditional village - Quaint, cute, beautiful, homely, cozy, well equipped traditional house in a lovely traditional back street. Not a problem but it's a 200m walk with cases on cobbled streets. If you're off the beaten track it's to be expected.

• Егор (10/5): Exceptional - Thanks to the hosts for a great weekend. The house is located in the center of old Kakopetria, so every night we enjoyed the sounds of the river, it was cool and fresh. The rooms are very comfortable and clean, it is felt that the interior is made with love and soul. Hope to be there this winter

The house had everything you would need and was spotless. I would definitely recommend. The hot tub could not be used. It seems to require some servicing. Dust were coming out of the holes when we tried to use the jets. Nothing that a good cleaning would not resolve.

They forgot about us initially, but check in was sorted fairy quickly after. Certain areas, such as the fan in the bathroom and the sofa bed have not been cleaned, while everything else was very clean.

• Roger (8/5): The Old Town of Kakopetria is a delightful find - The old town of Kakopetria was a lovely surprise, in its situation and character. The walk along the river is delightful, and the maze of alleys overlooked by balconies, the church and the museum are fascinating. The property is well in character, with its balcony and interesting layout, and very well adapted for a holiday let. Although we liked the property, we found its character was a bit swamped by the decor. It is of course a matter of personal taste but we felt it could have been simpler to advantage. It would be helpful to have clearer instructions for finding the property, which is about 150m on foot along the pedestrianised road from the south entrance to Old Kakopetria, just before the Linos Inn, and for finding the parking, which is just up the road opposite the south entrance.

Rooms have multiple heating systems and geyser. - Filled with goodies, information pamphlets, games. - Kitchen is fully equipped. - Two beautiful balconies where you can enjoy the morning coffee. - Though we didn't use it, there's a nice fireplace. - At the heart of the old kakopetria village - Very good restaurants within 5m walking distance. To top it the host Michael is amazing. We were there to celebrate my wife's birthday and Michael set up the place so well that my wife didn't want to leave the place. We had a great experience. Minor things which really doesn't matter much like: - The flush button in the toilet was really very hard to push. - The door to the bedroom is rather short and I kept banging my head at least a few times.
