• Ludwig (4/5): Dirty pool and house but a nice few - The silence, the few to the mountains and the location are brilliant but you have to stock up your water and food beforehand. Supermarkets are far away. 20 to 30 minutes by car. The pool was very dirty so we couldn't use it. The bathroom was dirty. At the toilet and the bathtub we found a lot of dust and other peoples hairs lying around. The kitchen is poorly equipped. It's the bare minimum. We informed the owner that the pool is dirty but he didn't clean it. He only mentioned that the pool will be cleaned automatically by the pump but during our stay we never heard or recognized the pump so in our mind it is not working. .

• ΓΕΩΡΓΙΟΣ (9/5): Ήσυχη και ευχάριστη διαμονή σε όμορφη ορεινή τοποθεσία, ιδανική για χαλάρωση και επαφή με τη φύση. - Ορεινό, ήσυχο κατάλυμα σε εξαιρετική τοποθεσία, ιδανικό για περιπάτους στη φύση. Ήταν καθαρό και η επικοινωνία με τους ιδιοκτήτες άμεση και άψογη. Χρειάζεται πιο προσεκτικός καθαρισμός σε σημεία όπως εσωτερικά των σωμάτων θέρμανσης και στον απορροφητήρα. Επίσης, επειδή βρίσκεται σε απομονωμένη περιοχή, καλό είναι να υπάρχει προνοία για προμήθειες και ό,τι άλλο μπορεί να χρειαστεί κανείς.

• Marlies (1/5): Horrible stay in a dirty and unequipped house, from a very rude owner who locked half the house - The view was nice, the rest was awfull. The house has 3 bedrooms, which is why we booked it. On arrival, 2 of the 3 bedrooms were locked. We phoned the owner multiple times; no response. He didn't reply via chat either. Eventually he send someone by, but she said we had to pay extra to open op the rooms! Unacceptable, since we booked a house with 3 bedrooms and paid for that. She opened 1 room, but we were still a room short. Very rude to not offer what you rent out!! No compensation or solution what so ever. Horrible :( We had to contact the owner about where to find the key of the house. He didn't inform us. The kitchen was very dirty; the cupboards and drawers were too gross to touch. The kitches was not equipped at all; not even scissors of matches to light the stove. The terrace is frequented by cats, often 10-20 at the same time. They try to steel your food and enter the house. The matrasses were awfull. Horrible place.

• Bushkin (9/5): חופשה שקטה בקיץ בהרי הטרודוס - יש חניה צמודה לבית. הבית מקסים. מכיל 3 חדרי שינה. בכל החדרים יש מזגן שזה מעולה. בבית יש בריכה. אמנם הבריכה קטנה אך נהנינו מאד ממנה. המיטות לא היו נוחות. צריך וילון לאמבטיה. צריך לכסות את הבריכה כאשר היא לא בשימוש.

This is a plus, because it's a beautiful, peaceful quiet destination for peace of mind, amazing morning walks and resting. It would have been nice if there were just a few more amenities, since it's hard to get anything.
• Despina (7/5): Value for money, bring food and water! - We liked the peace and quiet, the beautiful surroundings, the beds were really comfortable, the general aesthetic of the place was nice, the AC worked well especially on cold days! It was value for money and cosy place. The WiFi worked well and the bath tub was nice although needs some work around the edges. Nice big fridge which is necessary as there are no shops around and you need to come well prepared with food. There were some basics missing, no front door mat to wipe shoes, no bathroom mat on slippery floor, only 2 hangers in the cupboard for clothes, kitchen had no paper towels, no salt and pepper, the bathroom towels were quite old and worn, the kitchen is not well stocked for more than 2 people e.g. only one small frying pan and one oven tray. TV remote is broken, you have to stand next to the living room TV for it to work, some of the lights were not working, some were flickering, there is no drinking water on tap so needed to bring lots of bottled water, the place could do with a deep clean under the furniture. When we moved the sofas to arrange our things there was an old sock and plaster, beer bottle caps. One bin bag was left for us which is not enough for a family staying 5 days. The inside of the bedroom drawers were dirty and I did not have any cleaning wipes to clean them myself so I could put my clothes in. The bath tub area needs resealing silicone and bleaching where there is black mould. It would be useful if there was a covered storage outside for broom and mop bucket which were left out in the rain and I couldn't sweep with a wet broom.

• Aidan (8/5): Good stay, but could have been great with better kitchen equipment! - Great location, nice terrace and pool, good kitchen facilities, lots of space. A good base from which to explore the western side of Troodos, but also interesting walks nearby (Treis Elies Natural Trail, Nature Trail from Agios Georgious Church to Lemithou (bit overgrown in places but we saw several mouflon), Nature Trail from Kaminaria to Agios Vasilios Church). But always nice to get back and enjoy the terrace before the sun went down. In October the best time to use the pool was about 10am, when the sun was warm, and before going out for the day. Expect a lot of driving (time more than distance) and plan your outings! Troodos hikes, Kykkos Monastery. Visit Omodos, skip Platres. For a place miles from eateries, so you have to self-cater, and with good kitchen facilities, the equipment provided was disappointing. No big kitchen knives, only huge saucepans, just felt like an afterthought. It tends to be dark inside - partly because of the bright sunshine outside - but there's no light over the kitchen worktops (the extractor hood light didn't work) Vehicular access is a challenge - out small hire car struggled with the gradient - and the driver must not be timid!

• Linda (8/5): A lovely place to stay - The house was very clean and had all the equipment we needed. I spoke to the owner who was very kind. The outside area was lovely with its own pool which I enjoyed. And also the jacuzzi. Plenty of hot water . We loved the peace and quiet and found a little tavern for drinks where everyone was friendly The rooms were very dark and dark wooden ceilings and we needed the lights on all the time. We couldn't find the local supermarket- though that isn't the owners fault and we hadn't done this before so hadn't researched the area properly first to find where to get a little shopping and restaurants.

We have reserved and paid for th hole apartment for 3 adults when we came we ehere surprised to find out that one of the 3 rooms was locked (the host said she thought we are a couple and one single adult..) and she asked 50 euros more to open the room)

• Aura (8/5): A nice relaxing place! - The location is beautiful, very quiet, the house was clean and the outside area was wonderful. I was a bit worried about the internet, being so far in the mountains but it was okay. I appreciated the fact that I did found a nice warm blanket because at night it got cold. The house has 3 bedroom from what I understand and that's what we thought we are getting, even if it was just my husband and I. When we arrived, we found 2 bedroom being locked. Not a big deal, it was just unexpected and something that never happen before. Same deal with the wardrobe. Only 2 small spaces available, the rest of it locked.:( There was nothing in the fridge, not even a bottle of water. It won't be an issue if you won't have to drive for about 40 minutes to find a supermarket. I did read other reviews and I was expecting this but still, it would have been nice... The place is pretty tight, we didn't have hot water all the time (it was just warm some days) . The pool in October was freezing cold so we didn't used it.
• Nadia (10/5): Great get away - Beautiful house with a swimming pool, if you want to get away and have peace and quiet then this is the place. The owner was very friendly. The house was very clean. It had everything that you needed including a BBQ area.

We arrived a bit late then our timing & the host was super understating & very polite although we had a misunderstanding about the number of guest. • Christine (9/5): Beatiful view - This is a lovely little apartment with a magnificent view from the deck. The pool is a nice treat. The kitchen appeared well equipped, although we didn't use it. Our host was friendly and very responsive. He went out of his way to help when we discovered we left our power converter at home. We would stay again. There was evidence of a bit of mold on the bathroom ceiling which might be an issue for some. And the shower did not have a curtain resulting in water on the floor, but this was a minor inconvenience.

• Anna (3/5): Mixed emotions sadly. COULD TRY HARDER! - The location and view are outstanding. A cozy accommodation with a small pool. Not impressed by several things from the outset. It's a long list of disappointment. First upset was nobody to greet us, just a key in the door. When we finally met with the representative we were informed that we needed to buy wood for the log fire. Then there was the urgency from the owner for us to pay in full, a nice welcoming touch. General condition of the property looked clean but the bedroom was covered in dust on closer inspection. Hot water was an issue, at best it was luke warm. Lots of things not working like the brand new toaster without an adapter. Bedside lamp not working. No central heating (told it costs extra). No paper kitchen towel, tin foil, cling film etc. (The little basics).Knob missing on saucepan lid so not usable. Oh and be warned, nearest shop is 7 miles away, would of been nice to have had a litre of milk in the fridge so we could of had a cup of tea/coffee on arrival. In general, sadly a disappointing experience.

Beautiful decor. Comfortable beds and appealing jacuzzi tab. We loved our stay and surely hope to be back soon!

• Dorit (10/5): Cozy home in the mountains - The house is beautiful and perfect for a family. Well equiped. Very nice rural location, off the tourist path. Beautiful pool with a view. Nice clean and cozy. There is no supermarket or any facility in the town. Need to come there with food ingredients. The closest supermarket is a half an hour away.
• Richard (7/5): gray location for peace and quiet but out the way it f you wanted to eat out etc. amazing views, lovely pool area - very peaceful location. out side of property was really good with excellent views. comfy beds. bath didn't work as no tap, shower wasn't great. no welcome pack at all, this would have been helpful as there's was no shop for a min of 20/25 mins drive.
