Guest Reviews
- Tom (9/5): Great house, peaceful and comfortable. - Spacious and comfortable. Nice kitchen with complete set of kitchenware. The garden is big and it’s peaceful to enjoy the sun. The knifes need sharpening and sun beds are broken. It’s a bummer there’s nog bakery in the village.

- Jan-hindrik (8/5): Perfect for a base from which to enjoy the many MTB trails in the north eiffel - The property was spacious, clean and have everything you need for a comfortable stay. Great shed to store our MTB’s
- Ronnie (6/5): Pleasant - The main bedroom is very spacious and looks nice with the big roof beams.
The Shower is awesome !
The entrance is with a key box, so no worries for needing to arrive at a specific time. However for me who comes to the eifel for its mountans and beauty it doesn't feel much like a vacation oriented house.
The village of berg doesnt have much to offer, its just a couple of ongoing streets, and no bakery or supermarket.
The house is directly next to a ongoing road.
You can't see the orchard from the house, There's a very large (10m tall) farm-barn between the house and the garden.
To reach that orchard you need to walk all around the barn. And uou can't breakfast there because there are no tables or chairs there (ore solid place to put them)
There are tables and chairs outside, but there on a completely gravelled drive-way wedged between the house and barn. And close to the road, so not very inviting.
Because it is converted to a house in stead of designed for it. There are some weird layout issues :
The second bedroom can only be accessed by going through the main bedroom.
It has a overly large bedroom and bathrooms, but the living-room feels rather small.
Made worse by a large chimney in the middle of room, and the relativly low ceiling
There windows in the living chamber are small only look out on other walls.
There are multiple 3 step stairs spread trough out the house.
The stairs to the second floor are pretty small and without a stair railing
Also there are some point for improvement's for the interior desigs :
-The curtains in the second livingroom don't keep out much sunlight, its brightly lid in the morning with them closed
-There are no curtains in the living room, and there's a lot of direct sunlight whitch can get hot.
-Every window in the livingroom is coverd with "privacy" tape. I want to be able to look out of the window ?
-Either install a dimmer in the living room ore some mood lightning. right now its way to bright or pitch dark.
- Joeri (10/5): We really enjoyed our vacation in Eifelhof! The house is really very comfortable. -
