• Keary (8/5): Ideal accommodation for our stay - quiet and very clean in a picturesque location. - The little house was more than enough for the two of us and I would think ideal for a family. It's location was so convenient, being in close proximity to friends that lived close by and we could easily walk to/from. Everything was exceptionally clean and tidy. The bedrooms offer plenty of room and although we didn't use it, the kitchen would be more than adequate if you were doing your own catering. We also didn't avail of the beverage amenities (wine, beer, soft drinks) but they were a nice touch. I would have welcomed a little more storage space in the bathroom for toiletries etc. An iron/ironing board would have also been great. The sun rises early so without eye shades, the light curtains don't block the morning sun.

• Darren (10/5): Fabulous relaxing place to stay in a very quiet village. - The house is on the edge of the Village right next to fields and small lakes. It's a recently renovated 1894 building and has clearly been done to a very high standard. The Host was very friendly and met us on arrival and explained all. On the ground floor you have a very well equipped kitchen / diner / lounge, The main bathroom with a shower and a large double bedroom. There is also a small bar area in the entrance hall with a mini bar and a fresh bean coffee maker. Up the rather quirky stair case, there is a double bedroom and a large twin room. There is also a second WC which also houses a washing machine. It really does have everything you need. Outside there is a small garden with a nice seating area. Parking is just a bit of spare land about 20 meters away, but its not an issue. There is a very good Bar/Restaurant about 50m away, which also happens to own the house. We did eat here on our stay and the food and wine were excellent, if a little on the expensive side. The staff were very friendly and the service was very good. The whole village is extremely quite and very pleasant, great for walking the dog. All in all, a great place to relax. I would say the photos on here do not do it justice. I don't think there was anything we didn't like as such and the comments below are more informational than dislikes. The stair case is shall we say, unique, and although it is extremely well crafted, I think it is not really suitable for a property like this. It's a wooded split staircase with half steps at different heights, rather than full steps. We had no real need to use it, as we used the bedroom downstairs (we were staying with our dog), but we did go up to have a look at the upstairs, and even as able bodied adults, we found it very strange to use. Just something to be aware of. The downstairs bedroom would really benefit from bedside cabinets and bedside / reading lamps. Somewhere to put your, keys, wallets, phones etc at night. And while there is a small shelf / desk in the room, given the ample size of the room, again, would benefit from having a nice sized desk, especially if using a laptop or have some work to do etc. Lastly the Living room area would benefit from at least one, if not a couple of small sofas. At the moment, there is a roman style chaise lounger, which is a bit inpratical. I just think sofa would make it a much more useable space for relaxing.
