Guest Reviews
- Silvie (8/5): Lovely, quiet stay in the Vulkaneifel outback! - It's a lovely old German house, with all the necessary facilities for a stay with a family of 3. It is located at the end of a street in the village, where it is super quiet. Great location to start from for excursions and hikes. Lots of birds in the garden, owls at night. It's a 10-minute drive to the next village with lots of supermarkets, and a good bakery. Edeltraud, the host lady is very kind and helpfull. She doesn't live in the neighbourhood but is always available to phone or message and responds quickly. The house is clean and the beds and shower are good. There are colourful cups and plates :-) Not so much really :-) to say something: it's a bit dark inside, but the weather was good, so we were outside a lot. The garden is not directly accessible from the house, you have to go out the front door...
- Svenja (9/5): Wir kommen gerne wieder!
(1.67 meter...duh)😄

- Voigt (10/5): - Landhaus Eifel is a real gem if you're looking for a quiet time out in the country. It's an utterly charming, beautifully restored little house that oozes history and country tradition. Well equipped kitchen, nice bathroom, cute living and dining rooms.
This was our second stay, happy return customer. Nothing really, all good.
Lekker koel in huis.
- Serge (8/5): Very clean, comfy, little house in a beautiful and quiet area. - Very clean house, in a great, and quiet, location. Very responsive and helpful host. Close to several major tourist sites. The toilet deodorizer in the bathroom had a bit of a strong scent (for our tastes) and that scent permeated a bit through the bedroom as well.
- Peter (9/5): Great stay in the Vulkaneifel - The cottage is in delightful location, very quiet, close to the village edge but only 10 minutes from all facilities. The host is very communicative, flexible and helpful. The property is clean and tastefully renovated. The bed is on the small side.
- Luc (9/5): Superb -
- Ag (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful place! We spent 3 days there. The house was pleasant and cozy. We really liked the interior of the house: a one-story house in an ancient style. It seemed to me that I was in Tyrol (Austria), the house has everything necessary for a family. Behind the house there is a garden, where we enjoyed aromatic wine on the lawn under the gentle rays of the sun. And most importantly - excellent hosts! A very understanding and kind hostess who will answer any question and is always ready to do everything possible for a wonderful holiday! Price - quality is simply at the highest level! There are no pitfalls. The territory of the house itself is very beautifully decorated, and around the fence there is a forest where you can walk for 4 hours.
- Maartje (9/5): Lovely hideway in the Eiffel - Location was fantastic. In the middle of an aera with many hiking trails. Close to Trier, Cochem and the longest suspension bridge of Germany, Geierlay. Traditional house with cosy dining area and living room. A complete kitchen. You have to get used to the fact that there is no WIFI and bad mobile reception in village. But, hey! You're on holiday and you want to escape from all these things!
- Voigt (9/5): Amazing place to unwind and relax - This is an amazing place to spend quiet time in a beautiful country setting. It's an utterly charming older house, but renovated to a lovely modern standard. There are great walking tracks into the farm land and forests around the village right from the house.
Just be aware there's no WiFi in the house, and mobile reception is sketchy at best. Ideal place for an unplugged holiday! I'm sure we'll be going there again! Nothing to complain about.
- Susanne (9/5): Very nice and cozy house. Absolute a recomendation! - Nice and cozy house in a very quite environment. In the late afternoon we noticed that we hear really nothing. Super nice to relax. Also the abscence of WiFi was very soothing although a little switch :) The abscence of WiFi in the first place (but very soon a blessing : ). The portal by the bedroom is rather low; my boyfriend hit this spot different times with his head, despite the pads.
- Oleksandr (8/5): I think it is very nice place to stay for couples or singles. very nice location - The style of the house is really nice... The house is very clean, enough dishes, cups, etc... nice dining room .. everything one needs to relax after hiking or biking, etc.... Actually there are 2 points we did not like..
1. The entrance to the garden is through the street. As far we were with 2 small kids (3 & 6 ) we have to go with them all the time.
2. At two places one should be carefull in the house. By passing from one room into another one one should be carefull with the ceiling as it it is low.. and also the lamp in the living room is exceptionally close to the sofa so that when one stands up there is non zero chance to hit the head again..
- David (10/5): Exceptional - Very nicely furnished and decorated apartment.
