- John (7/5): Basic accommodation at a reasonable price - The property is located at the top of the town .Although there is parking on the narrow street at the front of the house, this is clearly used by the residents . A better option is a large parking area at the north of the town . The property is large but the furnishings are a little dated. It was spotlessly clean. The kitchen is well-equipped. The bedroom has a comfortable double bed. There isn't much natural light. I was in Jimina for a week's walking in the area (would recommend Guy Hunter Watts' guide , pub. Cicerone). There is no wifi. The property met all my needs. I would be happy to return. There are some reasonable restaurants in the square near the bell tower, and there is a good supermarket opposite the school. It would have been good to have some comfortable chairs and a table outside at the back of the house.
- Konstantin (9/5): Value for the money 11/10 and great communication with the host! - Really good communication, good location that puts you to the test when driving. For the price, it was huge with lots of space and equipment that could have come from WWII but was completely adequate. I was completely convinced by this accommodation, but in the heat you couldn't sleep without the windows open and when cars drive past on the street it feels like they're about to throw you up. We were also looking for garbage bags or suitable drying options for the dishes that had to be washed by hand. For the price, the accommodation still deserves 9 out of 10 points. I recommend it!
- Christopher (1/5): Very poor & I wouldn’t consider staying there again. - Nothing There was no WiFi
The house was freezing
There was no proper quilt on the bed
- Suzana (8/5): Sweet little village home near hiking trails (but bring earplugs!) - Very sweet little village home located within walking distance of hiking trails and the river. The owner was very kind and helpful. He immediately came to unlock the laundry room for me when I mentioned needing to do a wash, helped organize a taxi for me when I left. The home was very clean, comfortable and had a nice bathroom and the kitchen was pretty well equipped for cooking. The bedroom faces the street, so it was quite noisy and I did not sleep very well. The neighbors made a lot of noise - the women next door were yelling at each other every morning, other neighbors were yelling across the street to each other in conversation. Thankfully in the middle of the night the village is quiet, but a lot of trucks would go speeding through at night and in the morning, one person in particular who likes to honk their horn the whole way down the road. This combined with the bed not being very comfortable made for some poor sleep until I bought earplugs, but aside from that everything else was wonderful and comfortable and exceptionally clean and well cared for.
