Guest Reviews
- Gai (10/5): Left feeling refreshed, revitalised and in harmony with nature. - The history, rustic charm and close location to the National park, creek and open spaces. Really nice to meet Lorraine who shared her story of six family generations involved in running the property.
- Charlee (2/5): Terrible - Location Rats and lack of info about place, didn’t say bring pots or pans, didn’t say anything about power, had rat poo everywhere, and the address sent me 8k into the national forest
- Jason (9/5): A majestical location for a marvellous stay! -
- Tracey (8/5): Restful - The scenery and location. The river flowing past at the back was serene
- Swantje (7/5): Awesome location for a relaxed holiday in the middle of nature. - We loved the location, it was quiet and secluded, in the middle of nature. Everything was very simple, there was no electricity, but that formed part of a great experience. The cabin itself was cozy and romantic. If it wasn't for the reviews on this page, we would not have been prepared for no electricity (bringing candles etc.). We only found out that we had to bring our own bedsheets and cookware 24 hours before our stay via text message. We had those things anyway, but for some people this might have been a bigger inconvenience.
- Barbara (3/5): Great location; great for campers; off the beaten track. Overpriced. - Location great There is no indication on booking.com that this cabin has no electricity.
Need very clear information on booking.com website that there is no electricity; need to take own pots, pans and linen; need to take own axe to split firewood; need esky (no fridge). Need own torch, candles, light.
Getting a text with this info 24 hours before a stay is too late.
