• Carol (8/5): We loved sitting on the verandah of this lovely old house, enjoying the warm winter sun. - Location We enjoyed the natural surrounds of the lake and lagoon. Wonderous sunsets and reflections. The house is beautifully restored with a contemporary style kitchen and bathroom and with tasteful decor and furniture. Quiet, private and a unique, secluded getaway. The bath is too big to be comfortable for one person to lie down and relax. The shower is unsafe with nothing to hang onto and no grab rail. There is no towel rail. Just two hooks. There was no soap.
• David (9/5): Old farm house on the edge of the Murray River - The location is superb. Old farm house away from everything. Pet friendly with a fenced yard. Comfortable beds. Was perfect for our group. There was nothing not to like.

House was lovely and the riverfront area was perfect. Just a few things that could be improved - there were heaps of dead fish in the fire pit down the river, house wasn’t real clean - cobwebs, spiders, mice poo and lots of flies!

• Courtney (8/5): Overall was a lovely relaxing stay, thank you. - Location was beautiful and loved that we could use the kayaks provided and we could bring our cat No kitchen cloth to do dishes and wipe the benches. Or enough soap in the bathroom to wash hands. The shower also makes a loud noise when in use.

• Rebecca (7/5): Cute farmhouse stay with fantastic water view - Lovely, remote little farmhouse on a tranquilly secluded property with gorgeous views of the little lake below. A really special place with plenty of room for a family or just for 2. Lovely modernised facilities with a lovely modern kitchen and bathroom; parking outside the farmhouse; a gorgeous little outdoor patio to relax on and take in the views; the most comfortable bed that I have ever slept on!. The only downside was several maintenance issues that had not been taken care of and a lack of communication to resolve these prior to our stay, hopefully rectified for the next guest! Hosts request to notify of any maintenance issue, written boldly for all guests to see. We followed this and notified that several facilities that were meant to be available currently weren't in working order to assist for upcoming guests, ie gas out in bbq, but per host "not communicated to her so not resolved"; oven not fully functioning but per host "fault of guests turning off and not reprogramming"; washing machine not working but per host, "hadn't assumed we would require". Practically speaking, there was a solution available for each problem and we made do ( ie finding other ways to cook a roast without a bbq or oven- interesting but doable!) however the hosts' poor reaction to following her direct request to assist both her and other guests wasn't what I anticipated.

• Lindy (9/5): Superb - There was plenty of room for 4 adults. The kitchen was well stocked with great appliances. The toilet was superate from the bathroom which was fantastic. The lounge was very low, which was slightly problematic.
