Guest Reviews
- Michael (10/5): Perfect stay, short drive up the hill! Recommend!! - Perfect place to stay in Lorne, clean and Cosy Nothing
- Heidi (10/5): -
- cheryl (3/5): given we paid approximately $800 per night we were extremely disappointed - barbeque plate could have not been rusted so we could use it.
both bathroom showers drains full of hair and flooded entire bathrooms - main bathroom could not be used.
oven still dirty
bathroom soap canister empty
tv didn't work
- Alanna (10/5): Fabulous, fully equipped and everything we needed. Loved it. - Excellent facilities
Very clean windows Oven broken
Bbq gas burner faulty
- davinder (7/5): - shower drainage and there was no wifi
- Holly (7/5): A beautiful home and location that would benefit from minor TLC considerations. - The location of Dridan House is fantastic. A short drive to the beach and hidden amongst the trees. The house really does have the most spectacular views. The bedrooms were spacious, albeit not sound proofed as the walls don’t run to the ceiling. Given that the house was over $1000 per night, there are some things that should be better managed by those overseeing the property. The BBQ is completely rusted and not useable, and the television gets little to no signal. It may be worth considering having wifi included given the cost to stay so that streaming services can be used.
- Jodie (8/5): Stunning. - Beautiful location amongst the trees with stunning views of the ocean.
Stunning Balinese style home with all the ammenities you need to relax and recharge.
Walking distance to town and the beach with a good climb home if you need some exercise. There is limited privacy or containment of noise with the ceilings open across the entire house. The drainage in the showers in both bathrooms needs to be fixed
- Alixandra (7/5): Absolutely loved the house - the negatives mentioned made it less comfortable and family friendly. - Beautiful house with lovely views. The TV was small and didn’t work (kept turning off). This was disappointing as I had my elderly mother with us and she would have loved to watch the Aust Open finals which were on at the time. The BBQ is small too given how many people the house sleeps. Our bed was uncomfortable (like sloaping) the couches are also pretty hard.
- Kerrie (9/5): Relaxing with the best of both worlds being the bush and the beach. - A beautiful house amongst the trees and wildlife.
- Nick (9/5): Pics don't do the place justice! It is a very nice place with a great feel to it. - House has a very nice feel. Very relaxing, peaceful and enjoyable. TV! Too small, not smart and also started to turn itself off frequently. In the end I brought in another TV to use whilst we were there. Also, I couldn't get the aircon to blow cold air, but that might be me not understanding the controls.
- Ellie (10/5): Perfect Romantic weekend escape - The house was incredible. On arrival the house was warm and inviting and all the amenities were outstanding. The views from the home were stunning and beautiful to wake up to the sounds of kookaburras and nature. Easy access to the main street. The fireplace and cabin-feel was perfect for our romantic weekend away. Everything was perfect.
- Sam (10/5): one of the nicest bedrooms I’ve ever woken up in. - Thanks very much!! We will probably be back. Minor, but quite a few bulbs in various lights were out. Might be good to have a check on these. For off season guests like us, maybe consider having a couple of oil fin heaters for use in bedrooms/where necessary or just a bigger stock of firewood.
- Jm (9/5): Superb -
