Guest Reviews
- Sean (10/5): - Wonderful old house, in a quiet little neighborhood outside of Osaka station. A quick walk down to the shopping center, and an equally quick walk to the river park.
- Floretta (10/5): -
- Julia (10/5): -

- Cameron (8/5): A comfortable place for a traveling family - As a travelling family of five, we enjoyed the space and the older style housing experience in a quiet neighbourhood. It is in walking distance to metro stations and has local supermarket and shopping options. Being able to cook and wash for ourselves was a good break from hotel accommodation.
migliore.
- Robyn (7/5): Value for money - Great location between two railway stations. A few small supermarkets close by. Comfortable with enough space for a family. Traditional Japanese home. It had a very small toilet room. The stairs are steep so I recommend that younger people stay upstairs. Great to have a sensor light with the steep stairs however the light shone right into the bedroom downstairs. Not much bench space in the kitchen and not enough utensils for all of the guests.

- David (10/5): Perfect place to stay in Osaka! - Comfortable, Traditional, Stylish, Clean and great location
- Lena Elbert (10/5): - Yukiya is one of the best places I've stayed in Japan. It is very spacious for 4 people, clean, and not far from nearby stations and local convenience stores. We loved the washing machine! The owner is very kind and helpful!
- Franco (9/5): True Authentic Japanese Stay - Great location surrounded by several places to eat. Train station is 15-20 minute walk depending which train station. Close to Lawson and 7-11 stores. The only issue and not a big deal, the bathroom was real small.

Nada

- Emilija (10/5): -
- Antonella (8/5): Old japanese style. - Buona la posizione. Particolare l'arredamento in stile antico giapponese.
- Edverlyn (10/5): Excellent and would love to stay again. - We love the traditional interior design of the place. Everything we need was provided, toiletries, kitchen, washing machine. etc not to close to train station. but if you don't mind walking for 12 mins. the location should be fine and wouldn't be an issue
- Raul (9/5): Superb - The toilet was too small.
- Belinda (8/5): Great value for money. - Comfortable traditional and great location.
- Cleary (10/5): Best place to stay in Osaka in my opinion. - It’s a house to yourself, it was a bout a 10 minute walk to the red line so doesn’t take too long to get anywhere. There’s a place to park a car right across the street as long as the lot isn’t full and didn’t cost too much to park for the night. Being a traditional Japanese house the bathroom is kinda small but overall it’s a great place and definitely worth the money.
- Victoria (7/5): Feels like home, but watch out for the toilet - Traditional type home, where space is at a premium.
The host was very attentive and was in touch daily to ensure our trip was going well.
Quiet neighbourhood and the home had everything you might need. As has been mentioned elsewhere, the bathroom facilities need to be mentioned. There is a corridor with 3 rooms 1) the shower room (had shampoo, conditioner and showergel and lots of hot water) 2) a urinal 3) a toilet in a room where is takes up most of the space and it is a VERY tight squeeze. For the long-legged members of the group, this was a challenge as there was little space for your legs to go, once you were sitting on the toilet.
- Andrew (10/5): This is a great property, in a wonderful neighborhood. Recommended. - Everything. The house is very traditional and full of character. The host was friendly and helpful, and the property was good value. The local area is wonderful, with an abundance of restaurants and shopping. Nothing. This is NOT a criticism, but the traditional aspects that made it so charming to us, may pose issues for some. The spaces are compact, the stairs are steep, and there is no Western seating.
- Briony (10/5): Loved this place - Areas to congregate and nice and close to konbini and bus/train Too tall for the toilet to be comfortable
- Guilherme (10/5): The real japanese living experience, sugoi! - The host was very nice and polite, the house was very cozy and it had everything we needed. The neighborhood was nice and peaceful just as we enjoy. The location is very nice, it has convenience stores all around and it is close to the metro station. Overall amazing experience. I guess the only thing I can think of to improve the experience is possibly a way to lean on the pillows for the the living room
- Glenn (9/5): Superb -
- Louise (9/5): Our party of 9 had a great time in Osaka and loved living in the local style for a few days - The location close to the heart of Osaka was great
- Julynda (5/5): Staying one night on this is enough for experience. Longer than that will be too tiring. - The heater under the table. The owner/manager was responsive to our questions. There is no chair to rest on. We had to sit on the floor all the time. This is not good for those with back problem. We had to be on the floor all the time. Noisy heaters. We can hear its buzzing sound and feel it vibrate as we slept on the floor on the 2nd floor and so I didn’t have a restful sleep for the 5 nights we stayed there.
- Nam (6/5): Pleasant -
- Stephen (7/5): A great spot for a family vacation stay in Osaka - It is a cozy house in good condition. The location is quiet, but a little out of the way from transit. We appreciated the host working around our late arrival to arrange payment and key retrieval. Being foreigners, we were a little unsure of the trash and recycle rules, but did our best.
- Jodie (9/5): Superb -
- Steve (8/5): Nice place! - Lots of room for family Bathroom was very small
- Diana (10/5): Great experience - The location was good, the house was lovely. Liked having a room to myself Bathroom is meant for short people which wasn't a problem for me but my taller companions couldn't fit.
- Sakae (7/5): Good - The location was great as walking distance to JR/ Metro stations and restaurants/ shops area, and yet very quiet neighborhood. It is a good place if you are looking for a traditional old Japanese house living experience. The washer room had very little space; smaller than airplane lavatories. There were no powder room nor no place to hang bath towels.
- Sharon (9/5): Superb -
- Thizzee (7/5): If your want to experience a Japanese traditional house then this may be an okay choice. - you can cook and do laundry during the stay. its near a lot of groceries
where you can buy your supplies. the bed rooms are spacious so its comfortable if staying
with a large group. the rest rooms were to tight, so if you're a tall person it can get challenging.
we had to vacuum the heating units ourselves coz it wasn't working properly.
- Anca (10/5): Very nice authentic Japanese experience - The apartment was lovely, very spacious and clean. It's located in a convenient area, 10 minutes to the subway station. We enjoyed the kotatsu a lot. The host was very nice, she welcomed us very soon upon our arrival and helped us with everything we needed. Nothing in particular, it was a lovely stay.
- Manuela (8/5): Lovely stay - I recommend - Very large space, which was lovely as there was 3 of us. We all were able to have our own room. It was comfortable and 10 minutes walk to the metro. Owner was also very friendly and had good communication with us. It was a little bit cold at times but there was a heater provided downstairs.
- Justin (9/5): Excellent value. - Location, size, and comfort. Older property.
- Alexandra (8/5): Very good - The place is very spacious and a great value for the price. I especially loved the kotatsu. The beds were already made for us on arrival and the host was accomadating and communicated well. The location was good but could've been better. The heating was weak in the main living room despite efforts made, the only thing saving it was the kotatsu.
- Regina (7/5): Good -
- Kegan (8/5): Great for an authentic Japanese experience! - Really value for money. Very quaint and rustic. Quite a long walk from Umeda Osaka.
- Sardinha (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sony (10/5): Exceptional -
