The facilities are so comfortable, prepared with taste, the decor amazingly nice [compared to discoloured photos in other places we stayed], the furniture and bedrooms and bathrooms of top quality. The owners left us with many Tasmanian goodies and 2 bottles of wine and small liquor. So generous and welcoming. This is definitely the best place I have ever stayed in. The beds were super comfy. And on top of that the sun rise over the lake at 5.30 am was superb with lots of shades of blue and pink. I loved the place. n/a

It felt like home and we would have loved to have stayed another day. We enjoyed lighting a fire. It is a little bit remote, but we expected this and it only added to the serene experience. Unfortunately I could not make the coffee machine work (even though there were very clear instructions). And it would be helpful to have printed instructions about how to use the stove - it is a good stove and there was a link to the manual (and as the wifi was great so I had no problem accessing it) but the instructions are hard to follow and not intuitive.

• Johnny (10/5): A cosy and well-stocked place, right on the lake. Would definitely come back and stay again! - The property was in a beautiful location, was very well stocked in terms of ingredients. The fire and warm beds were very welcome too.

• Andrew (9/5): Loved it. - Excellent. Great communication from the owner made the home easy to find. Parking at the door made moving cases in easy and out an easy task. The owner lit the fire shortly before we arrived and left a lovely hamper of goodies and wine, something we had not expected. We were warned that the location is quite isolated so we ensured we were well stocked with provisions. Some items of food were in the cabin and available for use, which was nice. Did not get a chance to go for a bike ride on the bikes provided.
