• Peter (10/5): Another cracking long weekend at the Sweet Alice Holiday Home. - The property is a generous size and very well equipped. It is well situated in the centre of Ieper and there is adequate free parking nearby. We have stayed there for the last three years as a team in a walking event and so this year we knew were every thing was and what to expect in the house and we were simply given the key code to access the house when we arrived. We liked every thing.

• Elizabeth (10/5): - What a wonderful property and a wonderful host. The house is fantastic with excellent amenities, close to the centre of town with restaurants and shops. The house was spotlessly clean with very comfortable beds. We had a great stay! The stairs are quite steep so could be difficult if you are not steady on your feet.

• Martin (9/5): Excellent central Ypres house - Really nice large house set on 3 floors with a little outside decking space. Location is right next to the walls making it perfect for a walk to the menin gate. Parking outside or just down the road €2 euro for the whole day. Comfortable beds, 2 toilets and a nice shower. Nothing really! Great place :) Remember to bring your own towels and shower gel etc

• Mike (10/5): Great host, great location, really nice accommodation. - Monique was an excellent hostess and met us on arrival, we asked for and she supplied towels. The house itself was clean and had everything we needed for 6 individuals for 6 nights. A fabulous location, ideal to walk to all the sights in Leper. Parking was opposite and free for motorbikes. Just around the corner is a bakery that I would suggest you buy breakfast and lunch from, excellent value.
• Peter (10/5): We had yet another most enjoyable stay at the Sweet Alice house. - I stayed at this house last year for the 100km van Ieper and it was an excellent venue. My team were keen that we used the same house again. It is well equipped, has lots of space and is very clean. Although there are two toilets, one upstairs and one downstairs, the shower and two sinks are both in the upstairs bathroom, which means tight timings to get 8 people through in a morning.

Shame towels were not provided. We had limited luggage space as travelled from the UK by train so would have been convenient to have towels already at the property.

• Jarrad (10/5): Exceptional - Great location and the house was amazing. Large family room and lounge room as well as kitchen and dining room on the ground floor. Bedrooms and bathroom are on the 2nd and 3rd floor. Beds were comfortable.

• Andrew (10/5): Just lovely. - A wonderful house in a quiet corner of the town. If you are lucky parking is easy and the walk int town charming. A stroll on the ramparts (which the house overlooks) is restful on any day. Wonderfully friendly host, communicative and clearly wants you to enjoy your stay at the house. I cannot think of anything which could be done to make the stay or the house better.

Plenty of room in a quiet location just a 10 minute walk from the town centre. 1st time i've had to stay somewhere and take my own towels as none were provided, not even hand towels in the bathroom. Wasn't;t great having to carry wet towels back home.
