• Sue (9/5): Most enjoyable. - This is a beautiful house situated close to bus lines with everything needed for a relaxing holiday. The host was very good at communicating requirements and allowed us early access which was most helpful. The only thing missing is a hair dryer. Being Australian there was some confusion for us as to what is recyclable and what isn’t.

• Astrid (10/5): - We really enjoyed our stay at Huize Hertog. The house is very clean, cozy, and peaceful, yet just a pleasant 20-minute walk from the city center, canals, and the railway station. Comfortable beds and excellent cleanliness made our stay even better.

• Mark (9/5): Modern & clean in good location - Nice, quiet location about 20 min walk to the centre. Very clean & comfortable. Good shower, comfy beds. Fresh & modern Only one minor point....the hairdrier needs upgrading....more like a basic, travel hairdrier & we were a group of 7 women with long hair! It took so long to dry that 2 of the group could not wash their hair during the four day stay.

Good location, only around 15 minute walk into central of Bruges. Would highly recommend. Would be good if the top floor bathroom had a toilet!

• Jenna (7/5): Good - Great location, short walk into town. Great bar nearby & supermarkets. Nice house in quiet neighbourhood. Good living room & kitchen space. Friendly host, helpful correspondence before visit. Easy access/door code entry. Unfortunately when we visited in July, the weather was extremely hot and the 3rd floor bedroom in the roof was stuffy and uncomfortable. No choice but to open the windows, and mosquitos were really a problem. Mosquitos were also a problem for family sleeping in bedrooms on middle floor. Worth mentioning, there is no toilet on the 3rd floor and the stairs are extremely steep to go down to the bathroom in the night.

• Sharon (10/5): Huize Hertog - May 2024 - This beautiful house is in a quiet street, roughly 15-20 minutes walk from both the train station and the main square in Bruges. It's over 3 floors, and all 3 bedrooms were a great size and very comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need if you want to self-cater and the lounge/dining area was ideal for relaxing at the end of the day. The host provided all the information we needed in the run-up to arriving and was so quick to answer any questions we had. We'll definitely be back! Really hard to come up with something we didn't like about this house - it was an absolute pleasure to stay in. If I was being really picky it would be the lack of a toilet in the third floor shower-room but that's probably more to do with me being lazy than a real problem!
• Ciobica71 (10/5): Perfect! - Very beautiful, clean and cosy house, with all utilities and a very nice host, with more than enough space for 7 people. The neighborhood is very nice with Carrefour and Lidl a few minutes away as well as two 24/7 shops and 2-3 restaurants nearby. The train station, Flibco bus station and the city center are about a 20 minute walk, so we didn't need to use public transport at all.

• Jacob (10/5): Beautiful, Picturesque City Break….Wooly Hat Required! - The location is a walkable distance from the centre, convenience stores are within a very short walking distance, parking is provided on street and the welcome pack makes navigating the area much more understandable. Generally the property was perfect for our stay. The only improvement I could suggest is for a larger television within the communal area maybe for families that like a wind down at the end of a busy day. Also the dining table is a little unstable and may need repair/replacement.
• Nick (9/5): Really loved staying here, great location and nice, clean, spacious house - Very clean, great location for getting in and out the centre of Bruges being fussy here but having two pillows per person would improve sleeping for me and a headboard to stop the pillows slipping off the edge during the night
• Helen (8/5): A great place to stay to visit Bruges city - Good location for a short walk to the city, well equipped property. Lots of info for places to visit. We would have liked bedside tables or a shelf to put glasses, a glass of water and an alarm clock/mobile phone. Also another chair in the sitting room would be good. We also found the house very echoing so a few more soft furnishings would help.

The property was a bit minimalist, the parking can no longer be free and we had to park the car elsewhere during the day to avoid coming back every 4hours and change the disc.
