- Hubertus (9/5): Superb location. - Excellent location. Very good facilities throughout. Nice garden. Handy to most if not all of Goolwa sights and restaurants. Easy to find and access. Nothing.
- Marianne (10/5): Family celebrations - Enclosed Back yard for our pet Buddy

Everything needed Parking area
- Robert (9/5): A very enjoyable short break - Location was great. Beds were comfortable.
- Paulette (10/5): The best self contained stay we have experienced in the southern Fleurieu area. - This was one of the best self contained cottages we have found. It was extremely well equipped. The kitchen had a large range of appliances and utensils that enabled anyone to enjoy a stay. The location, garden and yard size was great for outside dinning and for children dogs. It was a real pleasure to stay in a cottage that was built in 1866.
- Julianne (10/5): -
- Russell (8/5): For a relaxed short stay pet owners or young families will be impressed with facilities - Facilities and thought put into convenience for guests were excellent. Quiet location and walking to centre is easy. Street parking, although right out front, could be a concern for expensive vehicle security. Little space to put luggage and personal items.
- Anne (9/5): Great property, would recommend to anyone travelling the area. - The cottage was lovely and cosy, we didn't travel with our pets this time but will certainly book again and bring the fur babies. The cottage had all necessary provisions, a secure yard and comfortable beds. Bathroom was modern and clean. The area is quiet, and the hosts were responsive to any questions we had.

- Dianne (10/5): - Loved the location and history of the home.
- Kym (8/5): Wonderful SA getaway in a cute little warm cottage just needs a little more attention to detail - Loved the location and original features of this beautiful little cottage. Dog Friendly back garden was a great size and fenced. One of the queen beds was very comfortable and the gas log fire is very efficient. Modern bathroom and kitchen well equipped. Needs a good deep clean, lots of cobwebs and dead insects and just a bit dusty.
The back lawn needs mowing.
Offering a bottle of Jacobs Creek Merlot for guests when the property is right next to a fantastic wine region was a bit disappointing. Luckily we brought our own!
- Michelle (9/5): - Great location, comfortable and warm. Great dog friendly home away from home.

The cottage was quaint and had everything we needed.
The backyard was peaceful and relaxing. The cottage ceiling height was low, but this wasn't a negative as it is expected from a cottage of this age and design.

- Woolcock (2/5): Don’t think we need to. Mmmm yuk - No breakfast was included Didn’t like chipped cup
Didn’t like running out of gas therefore no hot water nor gas heating. Was told not to run gas fire was virtually accused of over using gas The problems were not of our cause we only used gas for 7 hours before it ran out
Couldn’t get free to air tv. Owners couldn’t tell us how to get it consequently could only watch 2 channels. Not good enough
Think we should get a refund
- Alisha (9/5): Lots of historical charm and very cosy for a short stay for our family and dog. Really appreciated all the small details -
- Tracey (9/5): Mother, daughter weekend away - Everything that you could need is available at the property. Beds comfortable and location close to shops and places of interest. Easy access upon arrival and garden secure and private. Cottage has a cosy, relaxed feel with modern kitchen and bathroom facilities. As we took our dogs, it would have been good to have a floor cloth or mop handy to wipe up drips from water bowl in kitchen but this was a minor issue. Used paper towel, which was supplied.

- Pam (9/5): Cosy 1860s home with all mod cons - The house is 1860s sandstone in the ‘Little Scotland’ precinct, in walking distance to shops and cafes. It is cosy and comfortable with very good facilities inc espresso machine, washing machine, dishwasher and dryer. there was a welcome gift of wine and biscuits. The bathroom /laundry is recently renovated. The gas heater in the living room warms the room quickly and we enjoyed watching Netflix. We wanted to stay longer but it was booked.
