- Alexandra (7/5): Good - We have been staying in Lorne a long time and this was probably the best view we’ve ever had. It was stunning. It has most of everything you need for a short stay. It only had one bathroom and it was absolutely covered in black mould. The house also hasn’t been cleaned in a long time, as it was thick with cobwebs and dust. When we raised the cleanliness with the real estate agency they said the past few guests had also complained, but they hadn’t yet done anything.

At $500+ per night, it was disappointing that linen and basic toiletries were not included. That plus, I wasn’t advised of this until after I had paid for and confirmed the accommodation.
- Paul (4/5): Be warned - no linen and expensive to hire. Not up to standard - Nice view No linen supplied. But this only became apparent after we made the non-refundable booking. Not good. “But you can hire linen”. $176 for 2 days!! The house was not clean. Mould on shower and bathroom floor. Minor windows with spiderwebs, dead insects and dirty fly wire screens. Cleaners have cleaned the stuff cleaners clean. But it looks like owners have not visited for months or years. No A/C in bedrooms. An older building being managed by third party management with more rules than the bible. Book1ng dot com needs to set minimum standards when listing these AirBnB-type properties. This was not up to scratch.
