Guest Reviews
- Sophie (10/5): Group 30th birthday stay - Close to the centre so taxis were cheap, we were all able to stay under the same roof as a group amd the games downstairs were really cool, decent spread of toilet facilities. The lock box was extremely helpful and host was very good with communication 😊
- Helene (10/5): Gorgeous property perfect for a girls trip! - Everything! Nothing!
- Charlene (10/5): - Perfect location, very spacious. Immaculately clean. Perfect family entertainment. Comfortable beds
Einfacher Check in Checkout
Ruhige Gegend
Zu Fuß in 25 Minuten an Half Penny Bridge
Dekoration und Inneneinrichtung
Guter Ausgangspunkt die Stadt zu erkunden. Wohnbereich und Küche im Souterrain. Gemeinschafts eher klein. Badezimmer klein.

- Edit (9/5): - Family environment, large space. The house has many rooms and a pleasant atmosphere. It is close to the city center.
- Emily (10/5): -
- Stefania (10/5): -
- Georgina (9/5): - That it accommodates a party of 9, the rooms were of a good size and worked really well for us.
- Edel (8/5): - Near the centre of Dublin The Cost of parking outside of house
- Larraine (10/5): -
- Cameron (10/5): - Lovely property, perfect for 10 people and had everything we could need There are only 2 bathrooms with sinks in and 1 of them is an en-suite. This made it a bit tricky in the mornings with 10 people, but is a minor inconvenience. We had a fantastic time!
- Aine (10/5): -
- Zoe (10/5): Convenient location, spacious, lovely place - Convenient location, spacious, lovely place , clean
- Claire (10/5): -
- Markus (10/5): -
- Sarah (8/5): Great for groups close to Croke - Perfect location close to Croke Park. Great for groups. Well stocked kitchen with glasses and plates etc The property is tired cosmetically and could do with some maintenance. Lack of bins, bedside lights
- Pfisterer (8/5): cozy, cute and perfect for a group of friends - Super cute cozy house! Nice area at the bottom floor with place for everybody.
Check in and check out were easy, and the host answered very fast. Only the bathrooms are a bit tiny. But absolutely fine.

- Brianna (10/5): -
- Paul (9/5): - Location was Deadly for the game in Croke park and they put cones outside the house as to save us a car parking space and it is only a 4 min walk to the pitch
- Eileen (10/5): - The house was lovely, very comfortable and they used every inch of it well
- Carla (6/5): Good for a group but the house could improve - Good for a big group with many rooms and 3 bathrooms
Clean bed linen Dublin is very small so it's easy to walk to the centre but the neighbourhood where the house is located is not nice. Rubbish and people on the streets. The conversion of the house is DIY so a lot of doors don't close, paint work is poor, etc...There's very little light in the dining and play areas. The garden needs a lot of work.

- Patricia (8/5): Lovely property - needs minor repairs - Beautiful decor. Spacious bedrooms. Good location. It is a lovely place to stay for a group in Dublin. There are issues with the locks on the bedroom doors of the two bedrooms nearest the entrance door. One is locked shut so this room can only be accessed by walking through the other bedroom - so be mindful of this if all of your group needs privacy. The other door does not close at all. We had to use an ornament to keep the door closed while we were sleeping. I’ve seen the issue with the door locks mentioned in other reviews. This should be fixed. It wouldn’t rake very much for the owners to do this before other guests also have to report it as an issue.
Also checkout is at 11:00. Cleaning staff walked into the property at 10:58 so be prepared.
- Catharine (6/5): Overall we were pleased with our stay. - Excellent communication with Karina prior to arrival.
5 bedrooms for our family of 6.
Excellent water pressure & rain head shower.
Heavy comforter - with no top sheet.
Allowed us to store luggage early. Many bugs noted in first bedroom.
Musty smell.
Difficult trying to use the washer/dyer.
Would have been helpful to have directions.
- Cynthia (6/5): Was an adequate place for what we needed - There were enough rooms for the whole family. It was quaint. A little far away from attractions. Could use some basic maintenance (painting, bedroom door wouldn’t stay shut, another bedroom door wouldn’t unlock)
- Quinn (9/5): Great place for a big group to see Dublin for the first time! - The place was lovely and classic style, easy taxi everywhere in town and just what our group of 8 needed. Comfy beds, walkable area nearby for coffee and grocery. None of the pool sticks had tips on them and there were only 3 serviceable darts. We like these games so it was unfortunate to not be able to use the pool table.
- Per (10/5): Lovely place for a group of 10 and closed to Dublin city - 5 bedrooms, big kitchen and the social area
- James (10/5): Exceptional -
- Bradley (10/5): Exceptional -
- Noreen (10/5): Loved it- would stay here again! - Began and ended our first trip to Ireland at “Four Sisters” with my adult children, spouses and my grandson- 10 in all! House accommodated us all comfortably! House is quaint (400 yrs old!) very clean and neat with modern kitchens and bathrooms. Good location close to everything but not in the middle of all the downtown noise! Excellent communication with owners. Bathrooms were a bit small- but found that throughout Ireland!
- Alexandra (10/5): Perfect stay for a weekend in Dublin! - Perfect size for 10 people and the facilities were really great. Rooms were really roomy and comfortable.
- Damian (9/5): Superb -
- Sarah (9/5): Lovely house and great stay - Gorgeous house on a quiet street with everything you Need and more.very comfy beds and a very good space to cook eat and socialise. The showers didn't get very warm.
- Susan (8/5): All in all, it was a wonderful spot - the neighborhood a bit sketchy; but nothing too concerning. - Everyone had their own space due to the ample # of bedrooms. We wish there had been a way to close the front door without having to lock it. Same with our bedroom door. We couldn't close it unless we locked it.
- Kev (10/5): Great spot for a group stay in Dublin. Loved it. - Four Sisters is a great place 20min walk to centre of Dublin. Communication with the owner was great. She went out of her way to help us. Description doesn’t do the property justice. Game of pool and darts in the fully equipped playroom downstairs was a highlight. Plenty of essentials provided. A Dublin highlight for our group.
- Elaine (10/5): Recommended, fantastic house - The location was perfect. Wallaces Asti restaurant is nearby - highly recommend. The house was stunning with so many extra things. The teens loved the dart board and pool table. 2 kitchens, bedrooms were lovely. Beds super comfortable, and area was quiet. Got a great night's sleep. Will definitely stay again if available when we travel. Not expensive for all you get here. Communication was excellent and so quick and helpful to reply to any questions. Thank-you for sharing your lovely home Nothing to dislike. Everything surpassed expectation

- Eric (10/5): Exceptional -

- Nancy (9/5): Wonderfully comfortable beds with everything you need in each room. - The number or bedrooms and washrooms were a bonus for our adult family. The Nespresso coffee maker was a godsend each morning. The hosts were great and easy to contact and helpful. The photos online were accurate and the rooms were all very large. I wish there was a comfortable lounge room to chat in the evenings with family after all the walking/touring. After a week the stairs seemed endless. But we definitely got our daily steps in.
- Jo (6/5): Smart house but needs some finishing touches as suggested above. - It fulfilled the brief of having the five bedrooms that we required for 8 adults and 2 children.
The beds were comfortable and three of three bedrooms were spacious.
We liked the games room/ dining space but only a two seater settee for relaxing present. • The ‘bathrooms’ were very snug and only two of them had handwashing facilities which were small basins. The one on the basement floor just had a shower and toilet but unusually a towel. Would have been a good idea to have some hand gel.
• would have been useful to have had an advice handbook of instructions for the house as the underfloor heating in the basement was too hot to stand on in the morning of Friday/instructions on rubbish disposal/recycling as well as some useful advice on facilities close by.
• we were grateful for the ‘travel cot’ being assembled as requested but there wasn’t a mattress just a base and although bedding was provided it was unsafe for a 6 month old baby. We managed to improvise.
• we stayed in the large master bedroom at the back of the house and were surprised to not have any bedside lights to read or get in and out of bed by.
- Stephanie (9/5): Superb -
- Keith (10/5): Four Sisters - Beautifully presented house, very warm and welcoming as were the owners.
Couldn't have asked for anything more, Perfect.
- Eloise (10/5): Fantastic - I couldn’t have liked the house more, I’d move in permanently tomorrow! Charming, pretty, plenty of beds, 2 kitchen spaces, pool table, courtyard, it had everything we needed and only 15 minute walk from the thick of everything. I never return to a property as I like to experience different places each time but with this house I would return tomorrow. Hosts are friendly, helpful and responsive, they really know how to look after their guests.
- Laura (9/5): Planning to stay again! - The house was beautiful! The pictures really didn't do it justice. The downstairs dining and pool area was great to have dinner and chill out, and the kids loved the selection of games. The host was fantastic and responded to all queries straight away, giving advice for takeaway etc. The house is a 15 minute walk from Connolly Station and has an off license, shop, and chemist less than 5 minutes from the house. All bedrooms were very spacious, and the beds themselves were comfortable. A small few adjustments and this place would be perfect 👌🏼. The courtyard has steep stairs to outside, so possibly a little rail to make it easier accessible. One of the guests dropped her earring under the bed and said it hadn't been cleaned under there in a while. Personally, I would add a 2nd hairdryer to the property and maybe some washing liquid.
- Emaleigh (10/5): Amazing stay! - The property was great! Exactly what we needed Nothing!
- Mark (8/5): Very good -
- Nick (10/5): Would highly recommend! Fantastic House - This was a great property with modern kitchens and bathrooms! It was all very clean
- Ab (10/5): Exceptional - Basement for a group snooker or darts.
Extremely friendly host. All Irish are extremely friendly by the way. Not really safe for parking a car outside. Best to put it in a parking. But inside it was really ok.
- Helen (10/5): Great - Large property with good facilities Struggled with heating controls in basement
- Georgina (10/5): Amazing house, with amazing features. I loved every second on being here. -
- Anne (9/5): Superb -
- Katie (10/5): Really lovely home , great communal areas , super responsive host - The communal areas nothing
- Samantha (7/5): Good -
- Daan (9/5): Superb - The space throughout the house in the different bedrooms and the basement is great.
Enough space for individual space but also enough space to hang out with ten guys to watch a movie or just relax.
The set up with a bathroom on each floor is also great. The bathrooms are a bit tiny for people above 1,80 the showers on the other hand have enough space and are comfortable.
- Anaïs (10/5): Exceptional -
- Matthew (10/5): Exceptional -
- Liam (9/5): Superb -
- Craig (8/5): Very good -
- Karen (7/5): This property has the potential to be perfect, it just needs a few adjustments. - It was beautifully renovated with tasteful decor, lovely and warm, all the appliances were top quality, everything was spotless and the beds were very comfortable. We would have liked a lounge where we could sit and chat in the evenings rather than a room with a pool table. We would have liked a bedside lamp for reading, lock on the toilet door, a welcome pack with leaflets and instructions for the house. I had to contact the owner a few times with questions.
- Adebayo (10/5): Family get together - Was very comfortable and exceptional Nothing
- Hunter (9/5): Superb - Four Sisters was the perfect property to accommodate a larger group. I travelled with 10 of my friends and there was plenty of space - with 3 bath/ shower rooms, 2 kitchens and spacious bedrooms with lots of cupboard space. The basement area is great with a pool table and large dining table for everyone. The location was good, around a 20 minute walk into town, there isn't lots to do in the immediate area but you can easily get about so that wasn't a problem.
The communication with Karina the host was excellent, she was very responsive and helpful and sorted any issues we had very quickly.
I would definitely recommend this property.
- Liz (9/5): Good trip - Historical
Clean
Well located for city
Spacious Lots of stairs and I had broken my foot
Small bathrooms
- Ann (5/5): A bit disappointing for price - Location The keys were an issue
Didn't work people couldn't leave at different times
No garbage collection
- Kelly (6/5): Nice house but needs work on the basics. - Lovely decor, property looks good. Feels like it has recently been renovated. Comfy beds. Lacked the basics, couldn’t find and ironing board/hairdryer, limited tea and coffee - 3 pods for a group of 10 of us. Not much near the property, a good 25 minutes into town. Also sensors above beds light up every time you move and kept waking us up throughout the night. Front door needs to be locked when inside otherwise it opens - means if there is a group and someone goes back the property they have to wait up to let others in.
- Quistgaard (8/5): Great historic building, loved the creepy floors. - Bedrooms - four as advertised. Nice old townhouse. Sketchy area. Felt uncomfortable at night. Pool table not worth the space - would rather have family sitting area.
- Sari (10/5): Exceptional -
- Miles (10/5): A wonderful townhome in Dublin. - The home is beautiful and comfortable. The location is good as well. If looking for a full home rental it was ideal. The Wi-Fi was a little spotty on the top floor of the home but otherwise alright. (Three of the bedrooms are on the top floor). One of my colleagues had difficulties locking the door with the key but I had no issues.
- Irmantas (9/5): Superb -
- Anne-marie (10/5): Great location, clean and spacious - Perfect location, house spotless and so spacious. Will definitely be booking again
- Anne (9/5): Great place for an extended family to come together, Very pretty. - The location was a little farther from the town center than we expected but still walkable. The area was a little sketchy felt safer in a group. The house was beautiful. I wish the little courtyard had been cleaned up. If the walls were repaired there could put some love climbing roses or other plants in there. Maybe a slate patio rather than the weeds and an old bathtub. Not a deal breaker , just a missed opportunity. .it would have been great if the main floor bath was accessible to all rather than one bedroom. Then just little things like some liquid dish soap and a dish towel.
- Victoria (10/5): Exceptional -
- Olivia (10/5): Would definitely stay again! - Perfect location and incredible house, the pictures don’t do it justice! Ideal for groups and had a great social aspect that we loved. Great essentials provided in the kitchen and host was great! Somewhat lack of toiletries that said would be provided
- Georgia (9/5): Lovely accommodation, great for a big group, 20 minute walk into the centre, overall great value for money. - Big spacious bedrooms, good communal areas, comfy beds The upstairs bathroom was a bit of a pain, the sink against the wall is very small so it sprayed water when you used it.
- Achioya (10/5): Magical - The location was great, and it was a very nice and tidy place nothing at all
- Hayley (10/5): Exceptional - The location was perfect and the house was very comfortable. A great find for our group.
- Erwan (8/5): Very good stay in Dublin - beautiful house really charming and well decorated. we had a very pleasant stay with our family. Karina was very helpful and answered very quickly to our questions. A bit far from city center, but the bus stop is very close, so not really an issue. At least the house is very quiet.
- Carla (10/5): our group stayed here on the end of our trip. the location took us out of the city a little bit which is what we wanted. - location, historical, clean, safe, unique, super comfortable, WiFi, well-appointed kitchen, pool table and dart board. harrows floors were fascinating. great job updating the property. Street parking. attentive manager. not a thing. liked everything
- Helene (10/5): Weekend away in Dublin with friends at the Four Sisters - The interior of the house was like a home from home. Tastefully decorated and very comfortable. Nothing. It was a perfect house for the weekend.
- Natasha (10/5): Fantastic stay for large group. - The house was beautiful, even better than pictured. All rooms were huge doubles and 3x toilets made it a lot easier for a group to share the home. There was a big communal space which was perfect for our trip. Not a dislike per se but please be mindful there are a few flights of stairs as the house is essentially across 4 levels. You have to be careful on the stairs with them being bare wood.
- Beller-ducey (10/5): Exceptional - We had plenty of room and our hosts were super responsive and welcoming! We were able to walk or use public transportation to everywhere we wanted to go and really enjoyed our stay.
- Day (10/5): Exceptional - It was a really good location and a Beautiful house to stay in. We had fun playing with the pool table as well
- Seaman (10/5): Fantastic property, the pictures don’t do it justice! - Great location, very clean
- Van (8/5): Lovely stay in a beautifully renovates house - Beautifully renovated property, comfortable beds, great recreational area. Attentive hosts and workable location. The bathrooms were a bit small and lacked in some cases a sink. We could see some work still to be done to finish (loose wiring, paint on ceilings and garden).
- Thomas (10/5): Exceptional -
- Iva (10/5): Exceptional - Grest comunnication with the owner, the house was beautiful and very stylish, everything was perfeck
- Dawn (8/5): beautiful property, ideal for large groups. - beautiful old property modernised well shower room/toilet to small. no hand basin in some toilets.
- Ryan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Max (9/5): Superb -
- Flora (10/5): highly recommend ! - amazing house with lovely bedrooms and great communal areas easy walk into the city centre
- Nicola (9/5): Brilliant - Great stay at this house. It was modern, well equipped and warm, with underfloor heating in the games/drinks room in the basement. Although the bathrooms were shared, they had good shower units and facilities. Bedrooms were generous with double beds and everything was clean and tidy. Only drawback for us was there was only one key for the front door. Could have done with a Yale key as well as front door key and two sets of each. Other than that the communication with the owners was excellent and the location not too far from the centre; about 30 mins to Temple Bar by foot and 10 mins by Uber. There was even a garden that in less wintery weather would just have added to this really smart accommodation. Highly recommended and good value for a group of up to 10 sharing 5 rooms. Market Bar overcharged us for a meal which wasn't great although the food was v. good.
- Kevin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Penny (8/5): we had a lovely stay - beautiful y renovated property but be aware all beds ( 5 only) are double beds and the sofa bed is actually a recliner Booking.com had incorrect information about bed numbers when I booked. There are two kitchens but o ly one half sized dishwasher
- Shannon (10/5): Exceptional -
