Guest Reviews
- Amy (10/5): -
- Shane Dewar (10/5): Lovely home, great location - Lovely and comfortable home in a quiet neighbourhood.
- Elliot (10/5): -
- Chris (7/5): Family break - Reasonable price Further out than we thought initially.
Needed taxis as public transport would have taken to long
Nearest shop 20 mins away
Window catches in both bedrooms faulty. High winds on first night blew them open. Safety issues trying to close them.
- Sharif (5/5): - Location is good The bed sheets were not clean. Difficulty getting hot water for bathroom and shower.
- Christina (6/5): Refurbished nice place outside Dublin but had water issue. - The beds were nice and very comfortable.
The place was very clean and tidy.
Free parking right outside the house.
Easy to get to Dublin by bus, takes about an hour. They had a problem with the heating and hot water, which was making some machine gun kinda noices when turned on. We used the electrical heating device instead.
The small shower could only be turned to either boiling hot water or freezing cold.
They need a plumber to fix the system.
They could up the place by putting something on the walls, and hooks for hanging towels at the toilets and bathrooms.
- Xue (8/5): Good stay - The house is located in a residential area and is 10 mins away to local shops/restaurants.
The host is very approachable. There was big noise from the boiler room sometimes when the heating is on.
The bedding provided for the sofa bed is not very clean.
- Carney (10/5): Exceptional -
- Faith-anne (5/5): For the money we paid for a week I would expect a little bit more. - Not knowing Dublin at all, it was about 20min from Beaumont Hospital where we needed to be. The house was clean, not what I would call modern though, the furnishings needed updating. No handle on the back door, the hot water system broke down the first night we were there, but was quickly fixed the next day. The washing machine was broken, apparently by the last guest, but where the washing machine is located (kitchen) you can see the kitchen cabinets were water logged, which means it’s been flooding for awhile. We spent 3 out of 7 nights at the house, so the washing machine could have been fixed wheather we were there or not. They did offer to do our laundry, but we rent air b&b to do our own. The backyard could have been presented a little bit better.
- Fernando (9/5): Superb - The house was located in a peaceful location, and it was really close to a bus stop that connected the house with Dublin's city center. We were 5 guests, and there where only 4 places to sleep (1 couple bed and 2 single beds), so we had to join the two single beds. Also, the kitchen was a bit cramped, the house didn't stand out by its cleanliness, and there was no small table in the living room.
- Shaun (8/5): Very good -
- Nicole (8/5): Good stay, nice neighborhod - Cozy and clean The shower in master was difficult to use, to find temperature.
- Arnas (9/5): Review - Everything was great about the place no complaints The location was a bit further away from town but you can't do much about it
- Marta (10/5): Great except location is too far from city centre. -
- Maria (10/5): Amazing property and amazing host, you won't be disappointed. - Fantastic property. The hosts were amazing & we spoke to them beforehand, they gave us lots of information & really welcomed us before we had even arrived. An amazing property with super friendly & helpful host. Highly recommended! Nothing at all, it was perfect.
- Shelley (10/5): Absolute gem! - This house was an absolute gem! Great location, very clean, and it had everything you could think you might want and more besides. Stunning property. I'm really struggling to think of anything I didn't like!
- Les (7/5): Last hurrah in Dublin - Good size rooms, comfortable beds, well stocked provisions for any emergency House keeping was incomplete, towels were replaced immediately, which was great. Timed heated and hot water, were inconvenient if you were in a hurry for shower
- Stan (8/5): Good stay! - Very nice house, good condition. Very good price Shower head was not hangable in one of the showers
- Hart (8/5): Great place to stay - Perfect location with parking. Multiple bathrooms were great. The neighborhood is very quiet and full of families. Bus to Dublin was very close and the neighborhood pub was wonderful.
We had a small issue with the washing machine and the owner was very quick to respond and help.
There was milk, a loaf of bread, water, tea, coffee and butter waiting for us when we arrived. Very thoughtful touch. Kitchen would benefit from some more cooking utensils and some sharp kitchen knives. Some bedside lights and mirrors in the bathroom would be nice as well but we made do without. I believe the guests before us wrecked some items so I'd imagine things will be back to normal soon.
