- Robyn (10/5): - Very comfortable clean home which was well equipped

- Michelle (10/5): Loved the heating , well stocked larder , beds etc -
- John (10/5): Fantastic property - Everything. The property had everything you could possibly want, and more again I loved the outdoor barbecue and dining area. There was even a jukebox. Nothing.
- Joshua (10/5): -
- Carmi (9/5): Wonderful stay in Hawker - Great location to the ranges and to town
Wonderful hospitality
Close to Flinders Food Co restaurant Small main bedroom
- Pam (8/5): Homely cottage was indeed very homely. We all felt very comfortable and were made welcome by hosts. - The alfresco area was fantastic with a great range of furniture and implements to ensure an enjoyable meal outdoors. The hosts were very accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. They even supplied a generator when a storm caused a power outage. Also very helpful in suggesting local attractions. The fluffy sheets were a bit too warm for a 30 degree day! But they were fine on the cooler nights.
- Kirsten (9/5): -
- jan (10/5): -
- Kylie (10/5): Home away from home - It felt like home away from home, clean and cozy with everything you need and more. Lots of quirky things too. I would definitely recommend staying at homely cottage
- Meredith (8/5): -
- Carter (8/5): - Convenient, house is well equipped and comfortable. Very small bedrooms.
Very slippery shower and nowhere to place toiletries in the shower alcove.
- Mark (10/5): -
- Michael (10/5): -
- Judith (9/5): -
- Reg (9/5): Very good; in warmer weather the outdoor area would be fantastic - Comfortable and well appointed Update to the shower head and new split system Air conditioning system in the family room
- Kerryn (10/5): Comfortable & quirky. - Very clean and ease of checking in. Great communication by Kevin & Vicki. Had everything we needed.
- Werner (8/5): Bikers look no further. - We liked that the heating had been turned on for our arrival; we loved that covered parking was available for our motorbikes and although the weather precluded outdoor eating, a covered area with BBQ is provided.
My first stay where the host provided WiFi and subscription services to a number of streaming services.
The quantity and variety of condiments, soaps, tissues and like was also noteworthy. Heating is limited to two in wall air conditioners; effective but noisy.
- Judith (10/5): Exceptional -
- Greg (10/5): Enjoyed the stay very much, very comfortable, clean and homely. Great Host, could not be more helpfu - Kitchen available
- Cosgriff (10/5): We loved Homely Cottage. Check in had a personal touch. - Homely Cottage had all the little extras that we did not expect. There was nothing to dislike
- Lynne (9/5): Superb - Homely Cottage is just as described and had everything and more that we needed for a 2 nights stay. The owner lives out of state, but his mum, who lives close by, is very welcoming, helpful, and on hand should you need her.
The cottage is a couple of streets back from Hawker's main street and in close walking distance of the pub which was the only place in our visit that served evening meals. The conversations there with locals and tourists alike were friendly and the food, good pub grub.
Kevin's cottage is a great place for exploring The Flinders Ranges. There was nothing to fault. The smallest of details to make for a comfortable stay had been thought through. Thank you, Kevin and Vicki.
- Eveline (9/5): Superb - Vicky was very kind and helpful and the apartment was very clean and tidy! Unfortunately all but one of the recommended restaurants were closed, probably due to the summer holidays.
- Heinz (9/5): Great - Spacious, clean & everything you need place The light in the livingroom might need a more contemporary approach…
- John (9/5): Don’t look any further. Homely is homely. - Breakfast supplies and extras were very generous
The location was great for small walks to everything
Lovely outdoor area to have a meal or a drink in comfort Really it was fine as it is
- Kingston (9/5): Perfect for a long or short stay to explore the Flinders Ranges - Had everything we needed. The hosts were wonderfully friendly and helpful. The location was close to everything but it was super quiet. Backyard night sky views were spectacular. We were sorry to have to cut our stay short. Very minor thing but if a soft closer could be added to the front screen door because we kept letting it close behind us and it would slam shut with a loud bang we were afraid would wake the neighbours
- Great (9/5): The cottage was as good as its name, very homely - Really good spot in the centre of town
- Evelyn (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lauriane (7/5): Great dog friendly accommodation to discover the flinders ranges. Great restaurant/cafe walking distance: we highly - Clean cottage, breakfast included, great nespresso coffee machine. Good heating. Attention to detail. Small double bed. A new mattress would be great, queen size would make it more enjoyable, otherwise everything was good.
- Guifang (8/5): Very good -
- Tanya (10/5): Exceptional -
- Bron (10/5): Wonderful homely cottage with very caring hosts. - The hosts were so kind and could not have been more helpful. The cottage is so well set up with lots of extras, great location!!
- Barbara (10/5): Excellent accommodation, warm, cosy, great outdoor area. Vicki was a lovely helpful host. - Location was excellent and well provided breakfast.
- Len (8/5): Very good - Very clean and great heating. Excellent outside BBQ area, plenty of hot water and as quiet as a graveyard which can't be said of 99% of motels. Very private and definitely enjoyed our stay. Creaky floors, small bed, and dripping taps. Also thought that advertised extras could extend to more than a single pack of 2 biscuits for 2 people staying 2 nights.
- Jan (7/5): In Hawker for a few days work. Great little house to come to. - Great location. Loved the outdoors areas. Comfortable living room. Kitchen well supplied with utensils, basic cooking items. I always struggle a bit not being in my own bed.

- Es (10/5): If we´ll ever come back to Flinders we would definitely stay there again - great communication, fully equipped, very relaxing and "homely"
- Helen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Joanne (10/5): Fantastic and can't wait to come back 😀 - The location was great and the owner sent a welcome email with lots of useful information including places to eat. We were met by the owners mother on arrival and she was very welcoming and also informed us of things to do during our stay. We will be recommending Homely Cottage to everyone we know. The only thing we didn't enjoy about our stay had nothing to do with Homely Cottage but a word of warning if you travel to the Flinders make sure you have a fly net on your hat as they are extremely friendly.
- Leighem (8/5): Very good -
- Rosemary (10/5): Well fitted and kitted out, very homely and thoughtfully supplied with provisions. - Wanted for nothing, easy walk around the township, garden lovely to sit in with a glass of wine. Super easy arrival and departure and clean as a whistle. Nothing to complain about with this cottage - it was perfect for two friends to wind down in.
- Yvonne (9/5): Great base to explore the Flinders. Some good local walks and lookouts. - Central location. On site parking. Quick walk to town. Clean and cosy. Great outdoor entertainment facilities. Excellent communication with owner and manager. An easy drive to the Flinders Ranges.
- Eve (10/5): Oasis in the desert. - It was great coming back to the little cottage after a day of hiking, so comfortable, roomy, well equipped. There were breakfast items, condiments, cleaning and cooking equipment, lots of entertainment and tourism info, comfy chairs on the front porch and a table set up for eating on the back verandah. Every need had been anticipated in advance, we really enjoyed ourselves here.
- Ivan (10/5): Unexpected delight - Homely cottage lived up to its name. We were so comfortable and the linen and equipment was such good quality. In particular the lounge chairs as so often we have found the lounge chairs hard to sit on but these chairs were so good for old bones. Vicki was so lovely and is so generous and kind. Nothing negative
- Marlayne (9/5): Lovely cosy cottage - Had everything you need including washer & dryer A little old but expected in a small outback town. Bathroom was a little small for my tall husband
- Sheila (8/5): Very good - Cleanliness plenty of room, pictures of the area. Shower and kitchen taps very difficult to turn on and off. Impossible to work out the TV - couldn't even watch the local news.
- Karen (9/5): Comfortable quiet everything you need to cook and great location. -

- Jocelyn (9/5): Comfortable for our visit to Wilpena Pound. Thanks for providing a washing machine and dryer. Very - Everything you could possibly want to prepare and cook a meal was available including condiments, spices, oil, vinegar, and more. Fridge also included more provisions. Upmarket bathroom bath gel, shaving packs. All in a comfortable cottage with outdoor well equipped bbq area which we enjoyed every evening. Not keen on google box technology. Not necessary for holiday stays.

- David (8/5): Great few days, as the name suggests very homely. - Host was very informative, friendly and helpful. The hosts provided ample streaming options, kitchen extremely well equipped and overall the cottage was very comfortable. The cottage was spacious and the kitchen was extremely well-equipped. The owner was very friendly and helpful, and provided lots of useful information, especially about places to eat, before we arrived. There aren’t many windows so it was very dark, and we had to have the lights on all the time.
