Guest Reviews
- Nicole (9/5): Wish I could have stayed longer - It was beautiful, clean, well set out and close to town The pillows 😣 I like flat pillows and all the pillows were big and puffy. Beautiful pillows just not my cup of tea
- Susan (10/5): This was perfect for our visit to Orange - It was so comfortable with plenty of room , very quiet and in a great location. Nil
- Janene (10/5): - Beautiful
- Simonette (10/5): -
- Joanne (8/5): Comfort, convenience and character - great property . - The property was comfortably and attractively furnished, combining taste and character. The location was quiet and only a convenient and short walk to the town. It was an inviting and super comfortable setting for a relaxing few days. It would be an easy property to which we could choose to return.
- Stephen (10/5): - Location was great and it was quiet
- Patricia (8/5): Quaint comfortable property perfect for a short break. - The property was clean , quiet and comfortable with easy access to parking and town. The only drawback is the shower over the bath making access difficult.
- Sue-Ellen (7/5): - A very gorgeous looking place, its an older place but I loved it. You have everything you could want on a break away and having a back yard was relaxing to sit in and read a book or have a coffee.
- Robert (10/5): -
- Oscar (10/5): Beautiful stay in orange - Great location, centre of town, beautiful walk and far enough from the rail to not hear the train Accidentally went next door as it is a duplex, but that only happened once and it was my fault for not reading the sign properly
- Carol (8/5): Vogue styling, but…. - Living area and beds were great and having heaters in the bedrooms was appreciated. Beautifully styled and close to town. Pots and pans, basic kitchen equipment etc were a disappointment. Not nearly enough and poor quality, I know we are probably in the minority but if you have a stove like that you should be able to cook properly. Bathroom was showing its age too.
- Paul (9/5): -
- Scott (7/5): Good -
- Sidony (8/5): Really lovely stay, would definitely come back. - Very warm and cosy, perfect for our little family getaway. Rooms were well appointed and lots of extra blankets. Cute little backyard and clothes washing/drying facilities.
Close to town, food, pubs, shops and coffee. The kitchen was good but could use some additional supplies to make it more functional. A colander as an example.
- Liannet (8/5): Very good -
- Gina (5/5): Passable - The location was good and we were given early access which was very generous. I gave feedback directly but haven't heard back and I think that's disappointing. The kitchen was very disappointing and the photos are not reliable. If you don't want to cook - then fine. If you want to cook, it doesn't meet expectations.
- Zirkler (7/5): Good -
- Debra (10/5): Wonderful homely accomodation .. highly recommend - So cozy
- Susan (10/5): The Edward Townhouse was a great location and was clean and comfortable. Good base to stay to explore Orange - Location was close to town- within walking distance Side security lights kept coming on throughout the night because of a local cat
- Richard (8/5): Enjoyable stay in a convenient, comfortable house which we felt was good value. - Location was very convenient, house was homely & comfortable. Loved the kitchen / living area. Older furniture suited style of house, but maybe not to everyone’s taste . Coffee pod machine, milk frothier plus supply of pods a bonus as was laundry .
- Michelle (8/5): Very good -
- Rikkii (10/5): Exceptional -
- Leah (10/5): Exceptional - Great place and easy walking distance to town.
- Lynn (4/5): Sad - Location Poor condition. Mould. Dusty. Needs a makeover cracked tiles. Not had a good clean for long time. Property allowed to deteriorate. Could be a nice place if looked after. Property had not been serviced after previous tenants. Cockroaches abound. Would not recommend. Needs to be reassessed for quality. Very disappointed . Worst accommodation in 20 years with Booking.com.
- Jimmy (8/5): Very good -
- Mathew (9/5): Superb -
- Julie (8/5): Value for money. - We enjoyed staying in an historic home close to town. There was plenty of room to spread out and relax. The heating in the building waa appreciated as we were staying in winter. The laundry facilities were perfect for our needs. Parking is on the street. We felt the doors to to main living area were quite flimsy and could be easily broken into. The 'front' door was sticking badly and could not be used at all. It could not be used as a fire escape.
- Esther (10/5): Exceptional -
- Geinie (8/5): Very good -
- Matthew (9/5): Superb -
- Jo (10/5): Exceptional - Everything There was literally nothing we didn't like
- Chantelle (1/5): Bad - No hot water. I was advised to turn off the power however this did not fix the issue. Did not have hot water for two days. Subsequently, I had to change to an alternative accommodation.
- Louisa (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jayne (9/5): Superb -
- Naomi (9/5): Superb - Great facilities and very comfortable. Close to the town centre.
- Lisa (9/5): Great accommodation for a work trip to Orange, would happily return with the family and stay there again. - Loved the style of the interiors. A few cobwebs hanging around but other than that it was fab.
- Suzanne (9/5): It was a beautiful place to stay. -
- Kim (10/5): Can’t wait to be back. Loved it. - Beautiful house, lovely decor. I could move right in. It’s a super location.
- David (8/5): Apart from the above 3 comments, everything else provided well for our needs. - No breakfast provided. There were no coat hangers for clothes. Important as we had functions to go to.
The carpet mat in the lounge area was quite dangerous with edges that rolled over making it a tripping hazard.
Some broken floor tiles in bathroom were loose. The shower joints leaked badly in all directions when water was turned on.
- Jill (7/5): Very good choice for Orange - The pretty street, the parking and the nicely french styled property The oven didn't seem to work?
- Mark (8/5): Very good -
- Margaret (9/5): Superb -
- Kit (9/5): Fantastic getaway to Orange for the weekend was made even better by a beautiful relaxing stay in the house. - Cosy accommodation with plenty of space for 4 adults and our bikes. Facilities and equipments available was everything you’d have at home, let alone at a stay! Nothing!
- Julie (7/5): Good - the location was fabulous and the period house was lovely a few maintenance issues but that would not stop me from recommending this property
- Gerald (9/5): Perfect accommodation for exploring Orange and surrounds - Great location, clean and comfy
- William (5/5): Passable -
- Bernadette (10/5): Exceptional - We loved the location and size of the home: delightful 😊 It would be a great feature to allow for a fire pit in the yard especially to be able to enjoy the lovely outdoor setting and yard
- Helen (9/5): Superb -
- Debra (7/5): Comfortable house that accommodated our group of 6 well. - Centrally located to all the main shops in Orange. Beds were comfortable. Furnishings were pleasant. More hot water, better wifi and a dishwasher that worked properly.
- Kerrie (8/5): Our stay was very comfortable, we had everything we needed and more. The townhouse was very homely. - Not applicable Nothing really
- Loretta (9/5): Lovely stay in Orange - Great location, close to everything Orange city has to offer! Lots of space and heating throughout. Communication was very clear leading up to and throughout our stay. Perhaps quite expensive for just a couple. More suited to a family and groups of friends.
- Alison (9/5): Very stylish, cosy and quiet - Great location, quiet and very appealing style. Everything was great. I prefer a slightly softer bed but that's just personal taste.
- Paul (8/5): Working in Orange ... - The bench workspace. There are no cupboards to hang or store clothes.
- Allira (9/5): Superb -
- Wicus (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rob (7/5): Good - Internet needs to be sorted out..very poor
- Emily (10/5): Amazing property in a fabulous location. -
- Ly (5/5): Passable - The location and facilities were ok The dish washer didn't wash the dishes properly. Stop working the second night we were there. The floors had exposed nails coming up. The bath tub needed a upgrade. And very dusty.
- Lorraine (9/5): Superb -
- Walter (9/5): Superb - It was confusing getting the key from the lock box.
