- Kyles181 (10/5): Will be back - This was my second stay this time 3 nights instead of the 1. So peaceful and relaxing just what we needed. This property will definitely be my go to when needing to escape for a few days (or longer).
- Andrea (6/5): Comfy and spacious historic home in a private setting. - The setting and privacy of the property was delightful. Historic charm was present throughout. Spacious and suitably furnished, the beds were comfy and the house had all needed amenities. Everything was clean, and the fridge had some supplies which was nice. Some of the flywire doors and screens didn't close or stay closed. The outdoor bbq area electrical connections were challenging especially in the dark, given they control both the lighting and the water pump. Sadly I couldn't use the lovely bath due to a water shortage because of the drought.
- Martyn (9/5): A safe, comfortable and remote treasure - All went well for this planned respite from constant highway driving. The birdsong, the birds, the cosy fire and all the comforts one could want were soothing.
- Maité (10/5): Relaxing and out of time. - The relaxing atmosphere, the calm, the birds, the firewood, such an amazing place !

- Scott (10/5): The weekend was a total blessing, thank you. - This was a beautiful little cottage in a beautiful, quiet and peaceful location. We had been rough bush camping for a couple of weeks and were very pleased to find this wonderful place last minute to have a great sabbath rest. It was such a blessing. Came with breakfast staples, firewood chopped, and… I could write a lot about this special place The only thing we didn’t like about this place was that we had to leave.
- Jenni (9/5): Very comfortable stay with a great host - Quiet, historic, comfortable
- Brigitte (10/5): Tranquil, cozy, comfortable stay with bird song and historic interest - Such an atmospheric, tranquil, slightly remote farm stay with historic interest, birds singing, cozy seats on veranda, all you could possibly need is provided. Nothing. If we are ever back in the area, would want to stay here no doubt.
- Kyles181 (9/5): Sadly could only stay 1 night but will definitely be back in the future for a longer stay. - So peaceful and away from civilisation nothing but the sound of the wind and birds. The combustion heaters made the place so cozy. The old cottage is so charming and comfortable. Seeing the stars at night was breathtaking as there is no light pollution. Roughly 20 minute drive from Morgan and about the same to waikierie if you need supplies. There is no internet and depending on who you are with phone service isnt the best (I am with Vodafone)- the perfect place for a technology detox.

- Sean (10/5): a beautiful cottage away from life, - absolutely loved everything about sandalmere.. from the moment you open your own gate and shut it behind you you know you have got exactly what you booked. in the middle of nowhere surrounded by animals birds and countryside and as quiet from life as you want it., cottage itself is adorable and everything to make it home from home, patios to follow the sun around and ample chairs to sit and drink a cold one on. plenty of firewood for the chilly nights and a kitchen facing the morning sun to wake with a coffee.. just delightful all round,. absolutely nothing 😁
