Guest Reviews
- Sophia (10/5): - A beautiful old cottage, that has been meticulously cared for with every detail considered. Thank you!
- Caitlin (10/5): Beautiful cottage - We absolutely loved our stay at Inglenook - a beautiful and cosy cottage right in the heart of Moonta. The hosts (Jodi and Gavin) were easy to communicate with, and even left us some flowers for our anniversary celebration!
Would definitely stay again, and highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday. Phone and TV reception was a bit spotty! Though it turned out to be a blessing to keep us disconnected and relaxed while on holiday.
- John (5/5): - They double booked it so I did get to stay
- Brian (7/5): - Spacious Quiet Nice size rear yard. On street parking.
- Wing Hang (10/5): -
- David (9/5): A very pretty cottage in an interesting town. - The cottage was very pretty, lovely garden at the front and the back, the location was good, just an easy walk to the town centre. I slept very well, the cottage was very quiet and comfortable. We were able to make everything we wanted to eat using the facilities in the kitchen. The photos of the property were very true to the actual place Can’t think of anything we didn’t like
- Jason (10/5): -
- Annie (7/5): Cosy home, good modern facilities, good location. - Lovely cosy home, everything needed for a self service stay. Wine on arrival was a welcome addition. Unfortunately there were ants all over the kitchen side and cupboards when we arrived and had to spend some time cleaning the kitchen of them. Once cleaned they didn't come back.
- Gillian (10/5): relaxing, restful - the cottage - everything about it was lovely -
- Joy (10/5): -
- John (9/5): We totally enjoyed our stay at the Inglenook Cottage and our week in Moonta - Not applicable Missing an oven, although there was a convection microwave which worked ok.
- David (8/5): - The location is fantastic. Having a backyard was a nice bonus. Cosy quirky house that was very comfortable for a family
- Denis (9/5): - Lovely backyard and all the comforts of a cottage.
- Janina (10/5): Charming and beautifully decorated cottage - Fantastic location within walking distance to town. Gorgeous decor and interesting historical cottage, full of charm. Great kitchen with everything you need to prepare meals and a lovely backyard and outdoor area.
Highly recommend, loved our stay
- Susan (9/5): Perfect cottage.beautifully renovated and had everything we needed - Beautifully renovated cottage. A real plus to have photo book to see the «befores » and « afters ». Loved there were distinct different living areas and beautifully relaxing outdoor seating area. Spotlessly clean. Would happily return Nothing! Liked it all!!
- Jac (10/5): -
- Suzanne (9/5): 2 night stay in lovely cottage - We loved the cottage! It has been superbly renovated while still retaining its character while the decor and furnishings were lovely. The location is great in the main street and walking distance to cafes and shops. Very clean also with a lovely backyard. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again! Just 2 minor things - unable to use the bedside lamp in the 2nd bedroom as no access to a power point and would be great if a small milk could be provided in the fridge. As stated very minor and definitely will not stop me booking here again.
- Chris (9/5): - Great location only 5 minutes walk to the centre of Moonta and cafes and restaurants. We enjoyed sitting out in the outside area at the back. It was very quiet at night with hardly any traffic noise.
- Alan (10/5): Great cottage, very relaxing time. - Great location, well equipped and nice garden Nothing
- Rudy (9/5): - The cottage has been sensitively and stylishly restored. Loved the outdoor seating area and the little garden. Very peaceful and an easy walk into town. Fantastic bathroom renovation and kitchen. A charming place to spend a couple of nights. It was all great... though naming keys for doors might be helpful.
- Gillian (9/5): The cottage was a lovely place to stay. - Accessing the TV was difficult for we who are a bit older.

- Sally (10/5): brilliant, great house, perfect location. - Short walk into town.
Very quiet location.
The house was outstanding.
- Haidee (10/5): Absolutely beautiful holiday home 💕 - Beautifully renovated and furnished property! Very clean and comfortable with a great location near cafes and local fare. Greatly appreciated the ducted heating and carparking. Matches photos exactly and felt like a touch of luxury. Happily would love to return! Only suggest some tweaks - a clothes dryer would be great as the cold inclement weather meant the clothes didn't dry on the lines and we needed to take them to another town for a laundromat. And although the ambient light is relaxing, one brighter light, perhaps over the full length mirror in the bathroom would be great for makeup etc. By no means deal breakers tho!
- Anita (10/5): Home away from home - Lovely renovated cottage, comfortable and quiet with well equipped kitchen. Good WiFi, lovely garden, easy parking. Appreciated the treats left for us on arrival. All communications to the host were responded to promptly. Would have loved to have stayed longer. Can recommend.

Great heating, fabulous shower (water pressure), full sized kitchen with plenty of crockery, cutlery, cookware including an air fryer and full sized fridge/freezer A washing machine is provided.
EXTERIOR: Lovely big garden. Carport. Outside patio with great seating / table. Clothes line in carport plus portable clothes airer.

- Joanne (10/5): Fantastic - would stay there again - Well thought out with everything you could need Nothing
- Joel (9/5): Great house for a family getaway, 2 minute walk to town and only minutes drive from the beach. - The property has been renovated and has a great mix of old and new.
It has great areas which can be closed off to minimise noise and has a large backyard which is great for kids to run around and play. It was walking distance to town and only a short drive to the beaches. It was a little dusty under some of the beds and could have done with a vacuum, but overall there are no real complaints and the property met all our needs.

- Dorne (10/5): A truly exceptional property. - This beautifully renovated ex-miners cottage was the ideal base for our visit to Moonta. We were close to Port Hughes, Moonta Bay and the Moonta Mines Heritage Museum and trails. The accommodation was extremely spacious, had lots of lovely features and a quirky layout- including two living areas, a dining room plus a well-equipped kitchen, a beautiful bathroom and a separate W.C. The bed was very comfortable and the bedroom was lovely, with a large dressing table with ample drawers for storage. The covered outside area was really a third living area, with a dining table and chairs, sofa and armchairs as well as lovely fairy lights which lit up one wall. The bbq was well used by us! The outside fan was also handy when it was a little hot, as was the outside shower for washing off the sand from the beach. The garden was an added bonus as was the on street and off street parking. A truly exceptional property.

- Robert (9/5): Enjoyed our stay very much. We would stay again. - Location excellent. Lovely cottage, outside BBQ area wonderful. There was everything you could want inside & thankyou, thankyou thankyou for having a coffee pod machine. Cottage was very clean upon arrival. We may have missed reading it on the website how /where to obtain keys, but we thought advising by email on the morning of our impending stay to be a little late. If we had been staying at Inglenook in the middle of say a two week vacation we do not necessarily read emails while travelling - a suggestion could be to advise via text message. Another suggestion is to have the locks keyed alike. It took a lot of fiddling around initially to work out what key was for which door. Not a huge problem but just a suggestion :)
- Traveller (10/5): Would definitely stay again next time in the area. - Everything was great. The main bed was superb. Everything worked. If you are after a good night's sleep, stay at Inglenook!

- Rod (9/5): Cosy and convenient Cornish cottage - Cottage was beautifully renovated and well equipped in a great location. Printed instructions near all appliances were very helpful. Happy to stay again. Missing tea towel was probably just an oversight. Advertised bath robes were not available.
- Michelle (9/5): Lovely place to stay, very clean and comfortable. - Convenient location for beach, parks, shops and cafe's
- Rosemary (10/5): Inglewood Relax - Amanda, your cottage was exceptional. To see what you bought and where your hard work got it to is Incredible. Roomy, relaxing and comfortable home
- Linda (9/5): Superb -

- Elizabeth (9/5): Delightful cottage, well appointed, a great place to stay. - Beautifully presented home. Comfortable furniture and beds. The bathroom was exceptional. Outside areas well set up. Range of board games that were a great hit with the 5 year old. Not as suitable for my Granddaughter (9 month old)- crawling on the slate and tiles - cold, despite the heating.
