• Jennie (9/5): A fabulous and spacious place with everything on hand and more. - The property was spacious and comfortable. Lots of extras were much appreciated like Bread, full breakfast ingredients, chocolates & treats, juice & milk. The beds were comfortable and the atmosphere old world charm. The host had been very accommodating to our needs with our son who has special needs. The house was neat and clean and wonderful. Our only issue was that the floor in the shower was extremely slippery and when we next stay we will bring our large non slip mats to avoid falling over. We ended up using large towels to try to stop from slipping over.

• David (7/5): The Palms was a quaint house with a lot of potential to be a great place to stay. - The property was very conveniently located. Parking was provided and handy. The house was well equipped and well stocked with breakfast and snack items. We particularly enjoyed the port in the evening. The property was in need of a deep clean. The heating units in the house were difficult. The house was very cold on arrival and it took two full days to get the house comfortable. The was no heat in the bathrooms and they remained cold over our 10 day stay. The exterior areas were run-down and in need of cleaning (as it was colder weather, we did not use these areas).

• Ron (10/5): The Palms is a great place for a family gathering. Very comfortable, great location and amenities - The breakfast options were fabulous - Fresh eggs, bacon, mushrooms and tomatoes as well as a wide selection of cereals. The kitchen was well stocked with plates, cups, glasses, etc. the back patio and outdoor seating areas were lovely and was a great way for us all to gather and chat. The location is excellent. Walking distance to everything in the area or a short drive. And the port was a nice touch to wrap up our evening! Thank you. About the only thing that we could say is that a dishwasher would be helpful but it’s not a big problem.

• Kim (10/5): Excellent place to stay within Gawler - Spacious old home that was very clean, neat and tidy. It was in an excellent quiet location within easy walking distance to the Main Street. The house was well stocked and they supplied so much food (eg. Juice, bacon, eggs, bread, milk, baked beans, cereals etc) that it did us for 3 breakfasts and a couple of dinners Nothing!

• Kim (10/5): It was the perfect accommodation for a family of 5 who were visiting, great location. - We were supplied beautiful, fresh ingredients for making or cooking a breakfast. Lots of variety if only a preference for a light breakfast, the location was great, easy walking distance to a supermarket and main street. The accommodation had a large living area, and was very comfortable for 5 guests. We loved the maps and local information that was available.

• Christie (9/5): Superb - Location, facilities, comfort, breakfast provisions!! Cost was excessive as we had 1 extra child in the end and cost per night seemed extreme for 1 extra considering what we'd already paid.
• Lucy (9/5): Very Spacious, Relaxing House with Beatiful Outdoors, Perfect for Families - large property, great b/yard, private parking, great BBQ facilities, pool table, easy to get to everywhere in Barossa, nice quiet street, plenty of space to do anything you like. if you don't like antique old furniture, it's not for you, but it's very charming if you appreciate it. Lightining could be a bit better in the dining area, otherwise all was good

Gary was amazing and kept in contact before arrival. He greeted us on arrival and showed us around the home. Breakfast was included and had a great variety. Eggs, bacon, cereals, condiments, tomatoes, mushrooms, bread, milk and orange juice. We had a wonderful time and are hoping to return again next year. Thank you.

Couldn’t want for anything more. It was also quiet, private and relaxing. We spent a lot of time on the back deck, eating all of our meals there. And on a beautiful street of old homes.

Unfortunately, we were too committed - The facilities were good, and friends were staying right next door, so to be able to use the access gate which joined the two properties was wonderful! The fridge was full of delicious breakfast ingredients and the owners were supportive and helpful. We enjoyed our stay! Cars parked across the street making backing out difficult, but that was not the fault of the owners of the property we had booked!!!

• Donna (10/5): I will definitely be back I loved it and there were plenty of provisions and amenities for our use - The place was beautiful - breakfast provisions were fantastic - ALL PROVISIONS were exceptional - Place was beautiful and warm upon arrival - Host was full of information about the area - I was thoroughly impressed and will be back for another weekend away with the girls It was nice and close to main street - walking distance BBQ area was lovely (will benefit from that next time) Bed could have been al little more comfortable - {maybe a mattress topper} xx A box of tissues would have been handy - although the paper towel and serviettes were sufficient if needed
• Trevor (10/5): Peaceful, relaxing easy trips to Barossa Valley and Clare Valley vineyards. Lovely house to return to after a day out. - Very private and spacious. Easy walking to shops and park. Secure backyard for our dog. Well equiped and warm when needed. Great barbecue and outdoor area. No dishwasher but minor dislike.

• Alisa (10/5): Exceptional - A house with character. Everyone loved it! Clean, spacious, cosy, fantastic outdoor areas, great breakfast provisions... The photos don't do it justice. Highly recommended. A dishwasher would be helpful, especially since the house can accommodate a large group (a lot of dirty plates, glasses, etc.). But not a big issue though.
• Susan (10/5): an excellent overnight stay to attend family event. would be ideal for a longer stay especially for families - very well maintained with excellent facilities. all rooms clean and comfortable. great kitchen with huge selection of food for breakfast. great outdoor facilities with patio, bbq etc. nothing!

• Teresa (10/5): Our short visit was made easier and most comfortable with the friendly personal service. - The breakfast supplies were great...all that was requried was supplied..from cereal and juice to bacon and eggs...bonus chocolate treats a hit :-) We made use of the Pool table and the old style charm was lovely. We wish we could have stayed longer!
• Gerry (9/5): Great to share a night of entertainment with family who were able to visit for a celebration - Very clean inside and all facilities well thought out to provide an enjoyable stay and the pool table was a big hit. perhaps a gas heater in BBQ area would be nice for winter months.
