• Arnaud (10/5): - Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. L’hôte a été extrêmement réactive, très gentille et toujours disponible pour répondre à nos questions. Elle s’est également montrée très arrangeante, ce qui a rendu notre séjour encore plus agréable. La maison est idéalement située, dans un endroit magnifique, avec un cadre très paisible. La casa est particulièrement calme, ce qui permet de profiter pleinement du séjour et de se reposer en toute tranquillité. Nous recommandons vivement ce logement et n’hésiterons pas à revenir lors d’un prochain séjour.

• Larcin (10/5): - Super séjour à la Casa dos Franceses à Ilha Grande ! Isabelle est une hôte formidable : très accueillante, disponible et avec énormément de bons contacts et conseils sur l’île, ce qui fait toute la différence. Petit point à noter : les chambres sont un peu petites, surtout pour poser et ouvrir les valises, donc à prendre en compte si vous voyagez avec de gros bagages. Sinon, très bonne expérience !

• Christopher (10/5): Great house with an even greater host - Tons of space for a large group, conveniently located in Abraao with very nice facilities and comfortable beds. The standout thing about this property though is the owner. They arranged our transport to and from Rio, helped us book a boat tour, and had excellent restaurant recommendations. They were very fast to respond to inquiries and accommodating. I recommend this house to anyone wanting to visit Ilha Grande, whether they have a large or small group.
• Laura (7/5): This spacious and well equipped property has the only king sized beds we found. However, we learned we also wanted more - Its location just outside of the village was convenient but also tranquil Only the bedrooms had air conditioning. There was no comfortable place for 4 adults to spend time together in rainy hot weather. We could hear and see the owners residing on the property.

Elle a géré pour nous les transferts depuis Rio et vers Paraty! Elle nous a aussi conseillé une superbe sortie en bateau! Vraiment top pour notre groupe de 9!
• Daniela (8/5): Boa - A casa é excelente e bem localizada, tem a churrasqueira que é muito boa, local silencioso e em área ambiental Boa para levar a família Diferente de todas as casa e hosteis que já me hospedei, a casa não disponibiliza nada, nada básico, como sal, açucar, óleo tempero etc. A moça que arruma a comodação falou que estraga. Até em abrigos de trilha que faço no alto de montanhas encontramos essas coisas... Tivemos que comprar tudo básico para cozinhar Outra coisa é a inflexibilidade em remarcar a data. fomos num final de semana frio e chuvoso, eramos um grupo de 14 pessoas e queriamos remarcar para poder aproveitar mais. Com uma semana de antecedencia pedi a proprietaria, sem sucesso, falou que não tinha mais disponibilidade de data. Encaramos o frio e a chuva e aproveitamos pouco. Podia ter sido melhor. Então tenham mta certeza do clima para não ter surpresas.

• Hassan (10/5): Un havre de paix dans la nature… - Un excellent séjour à la Casa dos Franceses, un havre de paix au cœur de la nature. La maison est magnifique, avec un grand espace extérieur idéal pour un groupe ou une famille. Isabelle a été aux petits soins pour nous, malgré la distance. Elle a organisé l’ensemble de notre séjour et nous a donné d’excellents conseils. Hautement recommandé !

• Rayany (10/5): - Casa muito bem localizada e equipada, tinha tudo que nós precisávamos. Espaço gourmet que nos permitiu fazer um belo café da manhã e um churrasquinho pós praia. Casa muito Confortável, tudo limpinho, roupas de cama cheirosas, ótima para grupos grandes pois tem bastante quartos. Fomos muito bem recebidos e esperamos voltar mais vezes. Poderiam liberar caixa de som na casa, pra ser ainda mais perfeita. Obviamente, que com moderação e regras. Mas entendemos a preocupação da dona Isabelle com a vizinhança. Esse é o único ponto a melhorar pro nosso grupo mais "bagunceiro"🥰 De resto, tudo nota 10!

• Jake (10/5): Great location for a beach vacation gathering - This is a great option for a group of friends or a big family. There's actually quite a bit of privacy for an accommodation that can handle this many people. The host was incredibly helpful with recommendations and connecting us to boat captains and transit options on WhatsApp. The house cleaner is also very friendly and helpful. Beautiful little gardens all over the property. Ilha Grande is amazing! The furniture wasn't super comfortable. I would have liked more lounging options in the beautiful outdoor kitchen area. The map isn't quite right, the house is further up the hill ... Get a porter at the dock and tell them Casa Francesses and they will get you there. It's not a friendly route for big or wheeled luggage. Spend $R50 on a local porter, it's worth it.
• Dan (10/5): Great layout cool place! - Easy location. Quiet but near a lot of stuff. Easy 10 minute walk everywhere in town. Nice layout for families and adults. Location it could be in town, but that’s a really small complaint. For the value it was a great great deal.
• Viper1001 (7/5): Good stay but nothing too special - It's a nice place, there are 2 cooking areas and there is filtered water available to drink. The owner really wants to help organizing tours and she was always around. It's a normal accomodation, the room had Aircon and a fan. There was a cockroach living in our bathroom at night. The pillow was smelly, I had to sleep without during our stay. The kitchen was not too clean, the cups were smelly. Our room was close to a kitchen area which was a bit noisy.
• Malte (9/5): Wonderful stay at Ilha Grande - We stayed 5 nights at Casa dos franceses and loved our stay. It close to the village but very calm. In the morning you just hear the sounds of the rainforest. The kitchen is well equipped and Isabelle is a very nice and helpful host. We stayed in one of the rooms under the roof, which was very nice - but watch out for your head (also in the shared bathroom). Not a problem for us but I imagine it a little difficult for very tall people.
• Sarah (9/5): Beautiful and safe place to relax - The Location is perfect. Very quiet and chill next to the forest but still just a minute away from the center and the beach. Isabelle was an excellent and very sweet host. She will do anything to make your stay beautiful and comfortable and helps with any question or bookings for transfer and tours. The place has a great atmosphere and I felt very safe and welcome there. A perfect place if you don't want to stay in a hostel but still enjoy the company of nice people around you. It's possible to store food in a fridge and prepare your own meals in the kitchen. - Basic equipment and furniture but ok for the price of the room - the shared bathroom situation can get crowded when the place is fully booked

Close enough to the attractions but without the noise and within the nature that the island has to offer. Very peaceful, comfortable and clean. Good kitchen to prepare your own food. helpful staff who were able to provide fresh avocados and limes free of charge. Added extra days on at a very reasonable price and had a late check out, again free of charge. Isabelle is able to support you to make your stay at ilha grande easier and support with any activities you want to do. the Wi-Fi was also really good! No problems with the property at all.
• Lewis (8/5): Very good - Isabelle was extremely helpful in communicating our stay beforehand, arranging our transport to Ilha Grande and back to the airport, met us when we arrived on the island and even helped with luggage! She made herself available for any questions during the stay and gave good recommendations for the island. The property was spacious to accommodate our large group, with good facilities and in a good location in Abraão close to the centre.
