Guest Reviews
- georgia (9/5): Beautiful Spot - Lovely 3 bed house in quiet location..great view of Emu Bay from verandah..well equipped kitchen..comfy bed..it was a home away from home
- Marian (7/5): A beautiful serene place to unwind with the family. - The view. Towels, linen and mattress and pillows were soft and clean. Bit tired. Outdoor seating rusted. Single bedroom smells musty.
- Frances (10/5): Top property for a stay on Kangaroo Island - Fantastic holiday home with plenty of room, great verandah with view over Emu Bay. Kitchen was well equipped so self catering was a breeze. Short walk to beach which is a nice long walk itself. Jetty and boat ramp close by if that’s your thing It was a bit of a distance from almost everything but we knew that in advance - that’s Kangaroo Island so it depends on what you are most interested in
- Sandra (9/5): - Location, comfy bed, views, great deck. Had most things we could need. A fabulous place to stay.
- Jennifer (10/5): Sunny Brae Emu Bay - Fabulous location. This quiet beachside house had everything you need for a comfortable stay. Communication from the host was exceptional. Emu Bay is perfectly located for day trips to explore Kangaroo Island. There were no meal options in Emu Bay, but we were made aware prior to arrival and self catered. Everything was great.

- Sarah (10/5): - Absolutely stunning location! A perfect place for a family, clean, comfortable, and fully equipped, we thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the balcony overlooking the ocean. We had a wonderful holiday at Sunny Brae.
- Margaret (9/5): Great place to come home to after exploring the island by day. Reasonable prices too - The location was great. Away from everything everyone. Nothing in the area - shops restaurants etc so was prepared to explore by day and cook at night. Wife commented the kitchen set out by a woman - had everything you needed - pots pans plates etc etc but also spices sauces etc great.
Bed very comfortable, house warm with air conditioning. Front deck great for any noon drinks - bit cold but that’s part of the experience
Everything fine actually. Maybe a couple of little things. A positive which could be a negative - no cafes restaurant shop in the area. Bit away from these so had to be prepared to cook. But we loved it.
Maybe a little thing. Maybe a dryer would be nice

- Yvette (8/5): An amazing relaxing stay short walk to the beach with stunning views. - The location was stunning the view from the deck was amazing and in the evening a family of kangaroos would come onto the lawn and nibble the grass and lay down. It was fantastic to see.

- Judi (9/5): Superb - Had an abundance of everythig you would ever need. Even had ice blocks waiting for us. The only thing I would suggest is you let people know what day bin collection is. The recycle bin was full on our arrival so we put it out but we didn't know what day pickup would be.
- Michelle (9/5): Great Holiday - Great location and view. Was very quiet. Close to Kingscote. In emergency coffee was 5 mins away at Emu Bay Lavender Farm. Nothing to complain about.

- Adam (10/5): Excellent, we were very happy staying at this property, highly recommended. - We found Sunny Brae to be spacious, well set out including an awesome east-facing decking, very clean, also well stocked with all the utensils, cutlery & crockery that we needed. No toilet fan & no dvd player. Also thought it needed an exterior light on the south-facing wall for the driveway.
- Sonia (8/5): Great location to stay to get to different locations, easy to keep clean when busy travelling aroun - All we needed was available, great view Somewhere to store food, electric blankets!!

- Roger (8/5): Very good -
- Lauren (7/5): A nice, basic base for a great holiday. - Location. Beds were comfy. Verandah was great on those warmer days, to be able to sit out there and enjoy the views. It was a nice quiet town yet was still close enough to Kingscote that we could buy takeaway for dinner and it was still warm by the time we got back to the house. The split system in the lounge area kept us warm on the colder evenings. I was expecting to be closer to the beach, without other houses in between us and the beach but that's my own fault for not checking google maps first. I also expected a hairdryer to be supplied as every other place we've stayed, has had one. The key fits the laundry door, not the glass sliding door to the living area. This was not communicated to us, so was a little worried they'd left the wrong key to start with. Some instructions for the washing machine would also have helped as not all of us have front loaders at home. Electric blankets would be good for winter visitors. The heat from the split system doesn't reach the bedrooms too well.
- Karen (10/5): Adventurous with a lovely relaxing house to recover in at the end of the day. - Lovely clean and comfortable house with a great front deck looking out to the beach. Beds were so comfortable and everything neat and in good condition. Would definitely recommend this house and would definitely stay again.
