Guest Reviews
- Cheryl (10/5): - Good value for money for what we needed! Only one bathroom
- Amanda (6/5): -
- Catherine (5/5): Beds clean and comfortable but that is all, the rest of the property does not accommodate a large group. Too many beds f - Location, clean, heating good. Felt like there were too many beds in each room, and for the house facilities. One bathroom and toilet would never cater for 12 guests as listed. Even a bed in the lounge that could have done without as not much living space for number of guests. Lounge was crammed with couches to try to cater.
Only 2 glasses and a couple of champagne flutes. For 7 of us that stayed, it was not pleasant drinking a wine from a mug. We hoped to cook some biscuits but no mixing bowl or tray for the oven. No extra blankets for cold nights so had to have heating going all night. House owner request we do not eat in lounge but kitchen only caters for six at the table?

- Alana (2/5): Only if you're desperate... - It is close to the city centre My in- laws and I stayed there with our young families. Unfortunately, I would not call this a "family friendly" home. The house needs some MAJOR maintenance work. There was rotting timber in the shower, rusted pots in the kitchen, which was also covered in ants, as well as only two usable drinking glasses - despite it allegedly sleeping 11. The amenities supplied in the house are very old, unclean - I question where they came from - hard rubbish?
Thank goodness I packed a travel cot as the one supplied was completely unsafe and not to SIDs code, with an incredibly old mattress inside.
I wouldn't trust these positive reviews and their legitimacy.
- Angela (8/5): Overall we had a wonderful weekend, it was just very overpriced. - Not applicable Back yard needs a good cleanup. Excess furniture removed. Paving in back yard very uneven - two of us ended up tripping over.

- Sarah (8/5): A simple home, with everything we needed for a large group for a short stay. Delightful host. - Host was delightful!
Lucy was friendly, helpful, prompt to respond to questions, on hand for anything needed. A few mattresses could use updating, but neat and clean and cozy for a short stay with a big group.
- Tania (1/5): Assaulted !!! - That the Police attended to intervene in the assault on members of our party by the host. The host contacted us to advise that the hot water was broken and she had arranged alternate accommodation. In the first instance, that was appreciated but when it was learned that the property was let to others for the same period that we had booked, we confronted the host she went into hysterics, assaulted one of our party and called the police. I have serious misgivings that the alternate accommodation is even legal. There are certainly not smoke detectors in either of the "bungalows" at 133 Neale Street. I certainly would never book with this host again. If I could rate it below a zero I would..
