Guest Reviews
- Helen (3/5): Poor - Location The facilities in the condo were not as expected.
- Monica (7/5): Good location in Calgary! - It was fun to live on the 17th floor of a high rise in downtown Calgary! The location was great as we could walk to many destinations like Kensington, Princes Island, the waterfront and more. Although, like in every city, you can hear traffic noise, there was no noise from the other units in the building. The bed was very comfortable. It was a bit confusing parking and getting into the unit, but once we figured it out, it was fine. The towels were damp when we arrived so the first thing I needed to do was wash and dry them.
- Jesso (9/5): Superb - Very cozy and great location! I had a great stay no complaints
- Bryony (1/5): Be warned - ridiculously intrusive online ID process and awful money-grabbing attitude - They don’t warn you before booking that their check-in process requires signing a tenancy contract, scanning your passport & taking a selfie, (all online to a 3rd party) & extra credit card charge. None of this was detailed before booking, and so I objected to this level of risk submitting all these private IDs online. But they refused to cancel the booking without full charge, even though it was made less than 24 hours before arrival so they were not losing out on another potential booking (it was only 1 night). Their response has been dogmatic and poor, and they have not shown that this level of ID/risk was outlined before booking. Yet they have taken my money despite me pointing out this ID process is NOT stated, and that they knew I would not be staying. Dreadful service.
- Tran (9/5): Superb - Personally enjoyed the balcony, and overall the place was quite delightful & clean! I’m a bit sad I couldn’t stay for a little longer! Had trouble finding the building since it’s not actually named “The Loki”. The address of the spot is right, & it’s few buildings next to Fresh Slice.
- Mohamad (3/5): Staff are rude and not helpful. - The location is not bad The staff was not helpful with the checkin process, we had to collect the keys from a different location next to the property. The problem was with the time restriction on picking up the keys, plus the owners was if you didn’t make it on time to pick the keys you won’t have access to the property. And they where saying it in kind of a rude and irresponsible way.
Plus we asked for a 2 hours later check out, they didn’t mind 30 minutes or so for a late check out. But they wanted to charge us 50 dollars if we wanted to checkout more late, which wasn’t mentioned at the beginning of the conversation or the agreement.
We also were 3 guests in the apartment, the host had only two towels and the property was not really ready for 3 adults, we had to called back and forth to get towels.
- Jacqueline (4/5): Not recommended - Comfortable bed Check in procedure was cumbersome and difficult. I would never book that property again because of it.
Also the property looked like an old place that had had a facelift. There were numerous problems. Body wash and hair products dropped on the end of the shower making it slippery and dangerous ( none of the products was identified as to what it was.) The sheets had blood stains. Overall it just felt cheap. Carpets in apartment entrance were dirty. Unit itself was clean.
- Kate (8/5): We loved our stay and it had all we needed. Would recommend a friend to stay here - Great location, easy to check in, helpful staff over the phone. Perfect for a group of travellers who want somewhere to chill for the night and do washing! Nothing! It was perfect
- Laura (9/5): Superb - Fabulous location, really spacious and very well equipped. Made life very easy, especially if you have a young family
- John (10/5): Great stay when visiting Calgary. - Great view, well equipped, clean.
Perfect kitchen and bbq.
Great portal to manage our stay. Was not quite obvious where to look for the parking lot and which tags to use to enter garage, building, appartment. More information and a plan of the building with marked entrances would have been welcome.
- Weiguang (6/5): Pleasant -
- Lulu (10/5): Exceptional -
- Antonietta (10/5): Exceptional - Clean and spacious
- Armeen (9/5): Superb -
- Omid (10/5): Perfect place! - Everything was perfect. Thank you for providing excellent accommodations. Please fix your Netflix account. Everything was perfect, the bath could be a bit more cleaner and the two blankets may benefit from a wash. The kitchen window could benefit from blinds. Other than these three very minor details, the place was absolutely excellent. :)
Best regards
- Huibert (5/5): Disappointing - Uitzicht Information was not very good. We had to pick up the keys and bring them back to all 24h liquor store which was closed in the morning. Also there was no good route description to the garage, so we ended up in the wrong one.
Sheets and house were not very clean. Was located in "inner"city but not a nice neighborhood.
- Jodi (4/5): Mediocre - Location was good Closet door not attached
Kitchen sink had a leak all over the floor after washing
Knob hanging loose on door and door off track to laundry
- Renee (10/5): awesome 💙 - great location, awesome host , cutest apartment, had everything we needed we just got confused with all the different codes and which parking garage it was but honestly it was worth it all for a nice stay
- Carlee (9/5): Superb -
- Vaneeza (10/5): Great time spent laughing with friends in such a comfortable place - first was absolutely beautiful, great atmosphere and vibe of the whole place. Great location is another benefit maming great views The door to the apartment was a bit confusing since the instructions said to enter a 4 digit code but no code i used worked so we ended up having to use the key…maybe it was a human error but just wud be simple to have one or the other if it can work both way
