• Mohamed (10/5): It was an amazing stay. - We had an amazing stay at this villa in Cancun! The place was spotless, spacious, and had everything we needed. The pool was incredible, and the kids spent hours enjoying it whenever we weren’t out exploring. The beach was just steps away, and we even booked parasailing right outside the door and witnessed sea turtles laying eggs—such a special experience! The villa had great amenities: a full kitchen for cooking, drinking water provided, strong air conditioning in every room, and beautiful views. The location was also perfect, with easy access to the bus system to reach the hotel zone, Mercado 28, and other parts of Cancun. There was even a little store with the basics on the property. Our host was wonderful—super helpful and welcoming. Overall, this was one of our best vacations, and we highly recommend staying here!

• Zuzana (9/5): We absolutely loved the beachside location and the private feel, though the home could benefit from a few finishing touc - This place is absolutely amazing! The location is unbeatable—right on the beach with stunning views, the sound of waves, and a refreshing sea breeze. The terrace is huge, with plenty of sunbeds, a hammock for relaxing, and even a BBQ if you bring your own charcoal. The pool was well-maintained and a great addition to our stay. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway by the sea, this is the perfect spot. Highly recommend! The location and privacy of this place are truly outstanding, making for a peaceful and relaxing stay. However, there are some areas that could use a bit more attention. The kitchen is not fully finished, with some paint on the tiles and missing silicone, and a few essentials like a cleaning sponge were not provided. The sofa had some stains, and there was paint on the staircase. The bathrooms showed a bit of rust, and no toiletries like soap or shampoo were available. The hammock needed cleaning, but luckily, there was a washing machine, so we took care of it ourselves. The house is a bit dated, and the rooms could be better equipped, but overall, the stunning location and sense of privacy more than made up for these minor inconveniences. With a little extra care, this place could be truly fantastic!
• Amy (10/5): Location Location Location! - Location was incredible. I loved how safe we all felt and the host was always quick to respond. They even took the time to send us information on excursions to do during the week. They touched base with us throughout the week to make sure we didn’t need anything. The size of the house was perfect for a large family with plenty of bathrooms. Would have liked a 2nd Tv for the kids to watch at night or to play their games on. However, we stayed outside mostly watching for turtles so it really wasn’t a big deal.
• Chris (8/5): It was a blast to go as a family, play games, swim in the ocean and pool and cook together. Single hotels rooms in that - Gorgeous pool and privacy and accommodations for us and our 3 grown and married children. Huge kitchen. Good local restaurants. Quick response time from the host. Downstairs bedroom and bathroom smelled like sewage. Upstairs twin beds were very hard. Showers did not get hot.

• Evelin (1/5): Bad - WE WERE ROBBED! We had booked a stay in Casa Picón Cancún for 4 nights in February 2023. Right after we had checked-in, we decided to go for a dinner in a nearby restaurant. After being gone for just 1,5 hours, we found out that we had been robbed. The police later indicated that the kitchen window was so weak that the thieves were able to easily bend it from the outside and brake in. Around EUR 4 000 worth of our stuff was stolen (headphones, cash, credit cards, etc.). This meant that, we obviously did not feel safe in this place anymore (not to mention that the window was obviously broken and the owner promised to fix it the next day, i.e., staying in the villa was not an option). Therefore, we booked ourselves a hotel which we could find with such short notice and kindly asked for the owner of the villa a refund, considering also the fact that he did not even need to have the place cleaned after our stay because we checked out the same night without having used any of the facilities, towels, etc. The owner's response astonished us the most - at first he was reluctant to give us any refund; then agreed to give us back 50%; and, finally, he did not even honour this promise! Namely, we had paid EUR 1971 for 4 nights and the owner later agreed to a refund of EUR 688,89. When I pointed this out to the owner, explaining that this isn't even the 50% that we were promised, the owner failed to respond. Overall - highly recommend to stay out of this place. PS: The only saving grace was Emilio who was not the owner but the guy who gave us the keys to the villa. He was super helpful at that night and without him, it would have been extremely difficult to communicate with the local police who only speak Spanish and not a word in English.
• Brenda (1/5): Worse house we have ever stayed in! - The beavh view was the only thing hood about this property There is no hot water, when we left Emilio said everything looked ok and then tried to charge us $1,000 dollars for a gate that even though they knew we didnt brake they wanted to blame us because we didnt report it when we came in the house, when we told them we thought they knew since one of their staff members said they were going to fix it. There is no ac and gets very hot in the living room and kitchen all downstairs
